And on Friday (December 16), sources close to the pair and a mysterious tweet from the star herself confirmed that the couple is engaged . Trawick had already been working with the star as her agent at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment when they began dating in 2009. They went public with their romance when they showed up hand-in-hand to the 2010 Grammy Awards. That May, the two decided to separate their business and personal relationships, and it was confirmed that Trawick would no longer be representing Spears . The pair have always been pretty low-key. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest this March, the pop star opened up about their life together. “We’re really normal,” she said. “We just like to watch movies; we work out a lot; we take walks.” In May, Spears told Harper’s Bazaar, “I’ve thought about both [marriage and kids],” saying that tying the knot with Trawick could happen “if the timing was right.” And in an interview with Us Weekly in April, Spears gushed about life with Trawick. “We have such a great time together! He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves,” she said. “Maybe [I’ll marry again]. Never say never!” In August, Spears and Trawick walked the red carpet at the 2011 MTV VMAs, and Britney later thanked Trawick when she took the stage to accept her Moonman for Best Pop Video for “Till the World Ends.” While the two have remained relatively private, they gave fans a peek at their personal life when they played the lead roles in Britney’s “Criminal” video . The video focuses on a fictional love affair between their characters, who go on a crime spree that leads to a steamy encounter. Director Chris Marrs Piliero said Trawick “killed it.” This will be Britney’s third marriage. She was married to Jason Alexander for 55 hours in 2004. Later that year, she married back-up dancer Kevin Federline; the two divorced in 2006. Federline and Spears have two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston. The delayed For Your Entertainment follow-up sees Lambert working with the likes of Dr. Luke and Bruno Mars. By James Montgomery Adam Lambert Photo: Kevork Djansezian/ Getty Images He’s already referred to it as his “dream” album and as “existential pop,” but now we know what Adam Lambert will actually be calling his sophomore album: Trespassing. That’s according to a press release sent out by his label, RCA, which not only announced the title of Lambert’s follow-up to For Your Entertainment but revealed that the much-delayed disc would finally be hitting stores on March 20. The news came one day after Lambert unveiled a snippet of the album’s first single, “Better Than I Know Myself.” Lambert serves as executive producer on the new album, which he describes as “an exciting journey through the past two years of my life. It’s been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I’ve experienced. All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of my reality.” He also co-wrote most of the record, collaborating with a (seriously) loaded roster of talented hitmakers that includes Dr. Luke, Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, Benny Blanco, Nile Rodgers and Claude Kelly. And while his Glamberts will still have to wait until March to hear Trespassing, the simple fact that there’s an actual release date for the album is probably good enough for now, given that for months it looked like the album might not come out at all. In November, Lambert spoke to The Advocate about the delays that had beset the project, which included some, uh, issues with RCA and a whole lot of tinkering to make his new songs right. “I don’t know how other artists do it, but for this project, I’m adopting the mentality of ‘just keep writing and keep recording as much as possible,’ ” he said. “And then when we know that we’re ready to decide which tracks are going to be on the album, we’ll look at everything and narrow it down.” Related Artists Adam Lambert

Singer is reportedly engaged to marry boyfriend Jason Trawick. After a report surfaced on TMZ that the singer’s longtime beau and “Criminal” co-star Jason Trawick planned to pop the question Friday night (December 16) in Las Vegas, the singer took to Twitter early Friday and had this mysterious message for her fans. “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for,” she wrote . “Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo” A rep for the singer hadn’t responded to MTV News’ request for comment by press time. TMZ further reports that Jason asked Britney’s dad, Jamie, for his daughter’s hand before he popped the question. According to reports, Britney already knew about the engagement and the couple will sign a prenuptial agreement. As for her conservatorship, her conservators have signed off on the couple’s plans to marry; a judge will most likely give them the go-ahead to tie the knot. A source tells Usmagazine.com that Trawick asked his lady love to marry him on Thursday night while the two were at a romantic dinner celebrating his 40th birthday. The couple will celebrate the engagement at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Friday. “This is something they’ve both wanted for a long time,” the source told the site. “It’s a way to cement their family. They’re both extremely happy and can’t wait to become man and wife.” While there’s no confirmation from Spears’ camp just yet about the engagement, Spears did reveal something on Twitter: what she bought Jason for his birthday. “Hbday Jason! Florence Welch, Nas and others will pay tribute to the late soul singer on Sunday night. Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine , Wanda Jackson, and Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings will all take the stage to honor the late singer. The tribute will be introduced by Nas . Jackson and Welch will perform Winehouse’s “Back to Black,” while Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings will take the stage with “You Know I’m No Good.” The Dap-Kings played on the singer’s Back to Black album. Nas and Winehouse worked together on the track “Like Smoke,” which appears on her posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures . Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, Florence and the Machine, and Jessie J will participate in the star-studded lineup for the long-running concert event, which airs Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1. This year, VH1 is paying tribute to prominent birthplaces of soul music, including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis and Philadelphia. From Grammy wins and multi-platinum worldwide sales for her breakthrough, Back to Black album and recording with Tony Bennett to drug arrests, struggles with substance abuse and her untimely death at age 27 as a result of excessive alcohol intake, Winehouse’s roller-coaster ride seems primed for the big screen. After initially rejecting reports that a biopic was in the works and saying that the family would not grant the rights to the “Rehab” singer’s music for such a project, a spokesperson for the Winehouse’s clarified on Tuesday that “[father] Mitch [Winehouse] and the family would entertain ideas perhaps for a film but only one they were sure would tell the truth,” according to Entertainment Weekly. On Monday, Mitch Winehouse told England’s Daily Mail that he would not let Amy’s music be used in a rumored biopic that is reportedly being shopped and produced by his daughter’s boyfriend, Reg Traviss. “It would hardly be a biopic without the music and we’d never allow the songs to be released,” Winehouse told the paper. He also threw cold water on rumors that Lady Gaga could be up for the role of his late daughter. “I never said Lady Gaga will play Amy in film,” he Tweeted on Monday . In the meantime, Mitch is working on a memoir, “Amy, My Daughter,” due out in October. In a word: No . That’s basically Miley Cyrus’ response to rumors that she has undergone breast enhancement surgery. The chatter took off yesterday after Star Magazine published quotes from supposed professionals, all of whom studied Miley’s cleavage at a special CNN event this week and concluded that she most likely got a boob job . “Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine,” the singer has Tweeted. “I wish they’d realize you don’t have to be fake to be beautiful!” We don’t exactly feel comfortable discussing a 19-year old’s chest, so you may study the photos above (left, which prompted this rumor; right, which was snapped in July 2010) and decide for yourself: Did Miley get a boob job?

As the whole celebrity gossip world knows by now, Mariah Yeater has accused Justin Bieber of fathering her three-month old son. And while the scandal has not made much news recently – Yeater’s lawyer asked Bieber’s camp for a new DNA test in late November, and there’s been no movement on either side since – Robert Powell has come forward and said he knows why Yeater originally filed a paternity suit against the singer. It’s simple: “She lied.” Justin Bieber Baby Daddy Debate: The Pulse Powell, who insists he’s the proper baby daddy , recently spoke to Rumor Fix while serving time behind bars on charges of burglary and drug possession. “We were both homeless and living in Oceanside and Mariah was trying to make some quick money,” Powell claims . “She just picked him because she thought he was famous and all and thought she could get a lot of money by telling the magazine Justin was the father. She just saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money.” $50,000, Powell says. That’s the amount she was hoping Justin would settle for. But Yeater underestimated Bieber, who fought against the allegations from day one and has done all he can to prove his innocence. Powell adds that he still loves Yeater, and he has sympathy for the Biebs. “All I want is to be with my son, that’s all I care about. She can take all her money, I just want my son. And man, on the real, I feel sorry for Justin Bieber. He’s just a little kid, man. He don’t need to be going through all this drama. He got a career and sh*t to focus on. By James Dinh Katy Perry on “Saturday Night Live” Photo: NBC Katy Perry put her acting chops to the test during her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut this weekend, but the pop superstar also put her vocal talents to use in most of her sketches, lampooning fellow stars and even herself. Kicking off the evening in her new blond bob, Mrs. Russell Brand walked onto the festive set in a tight red dress covered in Christmas ornaments for the show’s opening monologue. She explained that her crazy video characters are based on real people she grew up with in California, and Kristen Wiig appeared beside the starlet in a blue wig with a whipped-cream-projecting bra, just like Perry’s “California Gurls” character. More “SNL” castmates joined the starlet in her video outfits and brought the audience to laughs when Wiig paired with Perry to sing a girl-on-girl duet of “Teenage Dream.” Aside from skits about Hello Kitty fandom and long-lost soul mates, the 27-year-old singer spent much of the night taking a stab at celebrity impressions, mocking the likes of Christina Aguilera, Florence Welch and Pippa Middleton. In a parody trailer for “The Apocalypse,” a play on the recently released romantic comedy “New Year’s Eve,” Perry dressed up as Xtina, singing her signature elongated notes. Then, Perry portrayed the Florence and the Machine frontwoman in a skit about a canine-themed soundtrack called Doggie Duty, and it was all about the royal family when the ever-changing pop star channeled Pippa Middleton in a segment that depicted a rather raunchy version of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Katy Cats also saw their beloved pop star in a sketch about, well, herself. During an interview with a Finnish TV show called “Kalle,” Perry becomes alarmed when the host, played by Wiig, cues to clips of anything and everything the singer mentions. “We have an excellent research team,” Kalle tells the chart-topper of the constant clip-cueing. Things become strange for Perry when the talk show plays a clip from the future. The latest episode also featured surprise appearances from Matt Damon and Val Kilmer, who appeared together with Perry in a Digital Short sing-a-long about best friends, and Alec Baldwin popped up during “Weekend Update.” The Emmy-winning “30 Rock” star took the opportunity to lampoon his recent American Airlines controversy , when the actor was removed from a flight last week for refusing to turn off his phone during his Words with Friends game. Perry shared the “SNL” stage with former California Dreams tourmate Robyn, who served as the evening’s musical guest. Delivering a pair of high-energy performances of “Call Your Girlfriend” and “Dancing on My Own,” the Swedish pop star showed off her awkwardly slick dance moves and retro ’80s styling.
