Lea Michele is singing a very happy tune right about now. The happiest of her life, we’d have to imagine. Why? Because the former Glee star is engaged!!!!!! The 31-year old confirmed this very exciting piece of news via Instagram on Saturday, announcing that she had accepted the proposal from boyfriend Zandy Reich. She did so by writing the word “Yes” alongside a diamond ring emoji. Oh, and also by including a photo of her own diamond ring… … which is MASSIVE! An insider tells E! News that Reich popped the major question to his girlfriend with a four-carat elongated, radiant-cut ring, which he personally designed with Leor Yerushalmi and The Jewelers of Las Vegas. The couple has been together since July. Asked about her relationship with Reich, who serves as the president of clothing brand AYR, Michele said the following last year to People Magazine: “When I’m not working, I’m at home with my cat, with my family, with my boyfriend, with the people that I love – and that’s how I reset, and that’s how I center myself. “It’s so important to tune out the noise and the unnecessary, and just focus on the people that you love because they know you better than anyone.” And also: “I’m very happy and I think that you can tell. I don’t really talk a lot about my personal life, but I’m also the kind of person where I always say, ‘You will see how happy I am just by looking at my face.’ “I can’t hide it.” Michele and her fiance keep a mostly low profile, but here’s a photo of them on Instagram: Michele previously dated Glee co-star Cory Monteith, who passed on July 13, 2013, She has also been linked to iZombie actor Robert Buckley and Matthew Paetz. Reich is not in entertainment, however. He’s businessman who has spent years working in finance and fashion, including his most recent position at All Year Round. The very lucky young man graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Pennsylvania and also attended UPenn’s prestigious Wharton School of Business. We don’t know when Michele will get married. But we do know the singer/actress will reunite with Glee castmate Darren Criss for their joint LMDC Tour in the near future. The wrestling world is in mourning today. Bruno Sammartino, one of the most respected and revered WWE stars of all-time, died on Wednesday morning at his home in Pittsburgh. He was 82 years old. Known as “The Italian Superman,” Sammartino won the WWE Championship in a match against Buddy Rogers in Madison Square Garden in 1963… … and then held the belt for eight straight years, easily the longest reign in the company’s history. To be exact, he was champion for 4,040 days in a row. He got his start in what was then known as the WWWF, an organization run by Vince McMahon Sr. But Sammartino went on to do color commentary and make plenty of on-camera appearances for the WWF (now the WWE) throughout wrestling’s explosion into the mainstream in the 1980s. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Sammartino was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the 2013 class after turning down previous offers to do so, according to ESPN. Why did he wait to long to accept this honor? Because he first insisted on seeing changes made in the organization, such as performing drug tests on athletes and the end of the frequent use of profanity. “Being inducted into the Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden is the biggest thing in my life,” Sammartino told ESPN years ago, adding: “Anytime that people feel that you accomplished enough to enter into a Hall of Fame, of course this is a tremendous, tremendous thrill for me.” Sammartino was actually inducted at the time by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Bruno is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Carol, along with three children. He also leaves behind a wrestling legacy few can match, as evidenced by the messages that have come pouring in via social media since news of his death went viral. Apparently, Vince has been banned from visiting the singer’s Beverly Hills luxury high-rise building after a fight between the two got out of control. TMZ reported that sources closes to the family claim that on Tuesday night the record producer and his soon-to-be ex wife got into an argument that go so heated argument, security at the condo had to escort him out. That, and he can no longer come back to the building. Now, what sparked this particular fight is unknown, but it’s so secret that the former couple has had some serious arguments over the past few months. As we previously reported , over Christmas, Vince was arrested for what Tamar claims was due to alcohol and a case of jealousy. “Co-parenting while going through a divorce is not an easy task. While celebrating the Christmas holiday as a family, after a few drinks and some jealousy, things got a bit out of hand, which is common for most families during the holidays. In the midst of everything our family is going through things got heated and a bit exaggerated,” she told TMZ earlier this year. Tamar was clear that despite claims that Vince has been abusive to her in the past, no violence popped off during the holiday. “There was no physical interaction between Vince and I on Christmas. While I do not appreciate his lack of respect for our family and him allegedly impregnating another woman, I cannot paint him as a vicious abuser that Vince is not.” We just hope they can get it together for the sake of their son. RELATED: Trey Songz Accused Of Hitting Woman In The Face At All-Star Party According to TMZ , Songz will not be facing felony prosecution for his alleged beating of Andrea Buera in a nightclub over NBA All-Star Weekend. Law enforcement sources tell us … the singer’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, gave numerous witness statements to LAPD that contradicted Andrea Buera’s account of events during NBA All-Star Weekend in February. We’re told Holley also provided further info that led to skepticism about Buera’s credibility The assault was first reported back in February, where she claimed that he beat her so badly that she had to be sent to the hospital. Songz was forced to turn himself in to police, and was released from jail on a $50,000 bond. Source: Prince Williams / Getty The crux of tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta is about Estelita realizing she got got by Stevie J and wanting off his label, Danger Zone. We start with Mimi taking it upon herself to confront Stevie about his Stevie behavior on behalf of Estelita. We’ve long established that he preys on vulnerable women and doesn’t care when his behavior is hurtful. That point gets driven home more when he says they have to play by his rules. However, to be fair, wanting Estelita to be a better artist isn’t really hurtful, which is why Stevie has been saying that he’s not working with her as fast as she’d like. But sleeping with her wasn’t a good look. But that’s what Stevie does and anyone who falls for it by now is either desperate, delusional, a fool or all of the above. via GIPHY Erica Mena and Estelita are palling around now that they’re back on good terms. First, they go to a vocal coaching session set up by Jazze Pha and they both sound terrible (both women can’t harmonize, can’t hear notes and are super flat). Thank goodness for technology. Auto-tune is not dead after all. Hear for yourself: Then they decide to meet up with Spice since she’s a successful artist and the boss of her own musical destiny! Spice basically asks Estelita why she would sign such a shady contract (a five year contract in this digital age of 360 deals) with a proven shady man. We all know the answer, though. Fame! Duh! Plus, again, Stevie preys on vulnerable women. via GIPHY And Estelita fits the bill. She had a rough life. It’s the usual messed up ish. She was a teen stripper who came to the US at 14 to escape sexual abuse. She’s the youngest of 20 siblings, she was raped by five men and says that her father sexually molested her as young as five-years-old, she tried to kill herself multiple times. via GIPHY Her mom wasn’t there for her because she died of cancer. Spice makes it clear that she didn’t go through all of that just to have some man take advantage of her so and offers to get her hooked up with a good lawyer. The episode hits a sad note too with Shooter’s son’s funeral. Sierra is still pissed off at Shooter with the news that he has a two-year-old, but she shows up for him after his 21-years-old son, Rod Jr, was shot (deep sigh). Sierra is crushed because the young man was like a son to her too. Since the murder, Shooter has been calling to check on how she has been doing but she hasn’t been able to really talk to him about how he’s doing because she’s still processing what happened herself, so talk of that two-year-old in question is off the table for now. Meanwhile, Rick Ross put Stevie J on to Just Brittany , another singer. She’s signed to MMG, but she’s looking for management and seems to, unfortunately, think that Stevie could be the one. She’s actually talented btw, Stevie recognizes this and mentions that they’re also going to do some music together. So, here we are at Just Brittany and Stevie’s rehearsal. Stevie hopes that Brittany’s presence will urge Estelita to work on herself as an artist. Coincidentally (but not really), Estelita and Erica pull up, thinking they’re going to check out Stevie’s new studio, and that Estelita was going to drop the lawyer news on Stevie hoping he’d change his tune. When they saw what was going on inside, it obviously didn’t go well. You know these chicks meltdown at any inkling that there could possibly be another female artist in the same space. via GIPHY We end up with Erica and Brittany going at it because Erica, you know, the “changed” woman, began trying to rip Brittany to shreds, talking about her looks, clothes, etc. Brittany didn’t back down, but Stevie shuts that verbal sparring session down, and Erica and Estelita leave. Estelita plans to move forward with getting out of the contract she never should have signed in the first place. She’ll be fine. She’ll run into another color-struck producer/manager type who could care last that she’s a mediocre artist as long as she’s pretty, lightskinned and Latina. Hopefully, she doesn’t allow herself to be taken advantage of again. Truth is, she probably needs therapy, and a voicebox transplant, first before thinking about pursuing a music career. When we learn new things about how R. Kelly allegedly keeps women in a sex cult and trains them as “pets,” the new information is never pleasant. This time, it’s no exception. One of R. Kelly’s exes has come forward to reveal that, by his own admission, the singer allegedly began “training” at least one woman when she was as young as 14. R. Kelly is infamous for his long history of reports of sexual misconduct, interest in minors, and the reports that he keeps women in a “sex cult.” At this point, the fact that he ever makes music is sort of an afterthought Multiple women have come forward with horror stories about how R. Kelly allegedly grooms and abuses women, sometimes beginning when they are minors. He offers them money to quit their old lives, using his charisma and fame to seduce them into wanting a life with him. From there, things get a lot scarier. R. Kelly reportedly uses physical violence and other abuses, such a the use of starvation as a punishment and cutting off any access to the outside world. The idea of this happening to adults is a nightmare. But one of the women who has now escaped from R. Kelly’s world says that he begins this treatment on some “pets” when they are still children. In a new BBC3 documentary, one of R. Kelly’s exes who has bravely come forward with her horrifying story describes how his alleged grooming begins when girls are very young. The woman, Kitti Jones, describes when she realized this. “I saw that she was dressed like me, that she was saying the things I’d say, and her mannerisms were like mine.” She says that there was much more to it than R. Kelly just having a type . “That’s when it clicked in my head that he had been grooming me to become one of his pets. He calls them his pets.” Kitti says that R. Kelly had this woman “crawl on the floor towards me and perform oral sex on me, and he said, ‘This is my f–king pet, I trained her.’” She says that he eventually bragged to her that he had “trained” this girl since she was just 14. The shocking accusations about R. Kelly surfaced in 2017, but have so far come from adult women — and from their concerned families. Abusers and cult leaders alike know that it’s important to isolate their victims from their families as much as possible and to encourage total dependence upon them. That’s one of many factors, in addition to gradual grooming, that helps them maintain control. That is precisely what R. Kelly is accused of doing. Unfortunately, sometimes law enforcement feels that their hands are tied when victims are adults, because they are likely to tell police that they’re there of their own free will. Yes, even if they’re being starved as punishment for some perceived slight. However, the victimization and sexual exploitation of minors might be easier for law enforcement to address … but, like everything else that R. Kelly is accused of doing to these women, may be very difficult to prove after-the-fact. But this is not in any way the first stomach-churning story that the world has heard about R. Kelly and underage girls. R. Kelly illegally married Aaliyah in 1994, when she was only 15. He had met her when she was only 12. Then, in 2002, a video surfaced that allegedly showed R. Kelly having sex with and then urinating upon an underage girl. When his property was searched by authorities, they recovered multiple images of an underage girl on a camera that was stashed away. In at least some of the images, R. Kelly was allegedly engaged in sex acts with this underage girl. It was reported that this young woman was the same who appeared in the video tape that had surfaced. Ultimately, the charges were dropped, as it was determined that the search warrants had lacked probable cause, rendering all of the findings fruit of the poisonous tree in the eyes of the courts. And, in the end, R. Kelly was found not guilty over charges from the original video. Will any of these charges against R. Kelly be proven? It’s worth noting that when the sex cult accusations first came out during the summer of 2017, this was months before the #MeToo movement. Perhaps the positive cultural shift against victim-blaming has opened people’s eyes enough that sex monsters can be brought to justice. But it’s hard to imagine how someone groomed to be a sex slave since she was just 14 years old could ever truly recover.
