WENN Singer Apparently Evading Warrant For Allegedly Sexually Violating Woman He is wanted on charges that he raped a woman in Georgia earlier this month. But it appears that singer Bobby V. is taking his sweet time when it comes to turning himself in for the shocking alleged crime, BOSSIP has learned. Bobby V. – who was born Bobby Wilson – is wanted in Cobb County, Ga. for rape after an unnamed woman filed a police report March 19, alleging that the artist raped her the day before. However, nearly two weeks later, the “Slow Down” singer has yet to clear things up with local law enforcement, who told BOSSIP that as of Wednesday, Bobby still hadn’t turned himself in, and was not in custody. Bobby’s rep has denied the rape complaint and said the alleged victim is motivated by money. Meanwhile, the former “Mista” member seems to be hiding in plain sight and living a normal life in his native Georgia. One witness told BOSSIP they spotted the singer working out at an Atlanta-area gym.
We know the above headline is likely to make you laugh. But this is a serious matter. This is the story of a real tragedy that took place in Great Britain. According to various news outlets, a 24-year old father named Ateeq Rafiq was seeing a movie in Birmingham, England on March 9 when he dropped his cellphone between two reclining seats. When Rafiq bent down to pick up the item, the footrest on the electrically-powered seat clamped down on his head, reports the Birmingham Mail newspaper. The horrific incident took place at Vue Cinema at Star City, the outside of which is pictured below. Said a spokesperson for the venue in a prepared statement: “Following an incident which took place on Friday 9 March at our Birmingham cinema, we can confirm that a customer was taken to hospital that evening. “We are saddened to learn that he passed away on Friday 16 March. “A full investigation into the nature of the incident is ongoing. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family who have our full support and assistance.” How could this possibly have happened? A source familiar with the situation described what transpired thusly when speaking to the aforementioned publication: “The Gold Class seats are electric reclining seats. He bent down to look for his phone. “At this point the leg-rest was in an upright position. But as he stuck his head underneath to have a look, the footrest clamped down onto his head. He was stuck. “His partner and staff tried to free him but couldn’t. The chair leg-rest was eventually broken free and he managed to get out.” From there, Rafiq was taken to a local hospital. He passed away several days later from injuries sustained in this freak accident. The victim’s family is devastated by the loss, says sister-in-law Fatima Arzo to The Daily Mirror. “We are grieving and completely in shock. My sister is in pieces,” she told the newspaper, adding: “We are grateful to everyone who tried to help him, and at the moment we are praying and trying to come to terms with the fact we lost a loved one.” The cinema complex at Star City where this took place features 25 screens, including three Gold Class rooms where the emphasis is on comfort and luxury. Reads the official website: “The Gold Class ticket price includes complimentary popcorn during your film and is strictly for over 18’s, offering luxury seating with a fully licensed bar and an enhanced viewing experience. “Gold Class customers are welcome to visit the Gold Class bar to enjoy a drink before and during the screening.” Our thoughts go out to the family of Ateeq Rafiq. News. This outlet was quick to add the following, though: “They’ve been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed.” So… what the heck is going on? What has driven these stars apart, even just temporarily, when it took them so long to find their way back to each other? “ Selena and Justin decided to take a break mainly because of Selena’s mom and her disapproval of Justin,” a source tells Us Weekly, surprising exactly no one who has been following the journey of these singers. Now, it looks like the tracks we already got on the album aren’t all the singer has to offer, and we can be expecting a deluxe edition of the album very soon. One fan asked SZA on Saturday if she could drop her unreleased verse from “Love Galore” as a bonus track for the album. Solana replied to the inquiring mind on Twitter saying that the deluxe edition of her album already has half a dozen new tracks, and that there’s still room to add some more. And, as she’s made more and more clear in a handful of recent interviews, the singer isn’t shy about admitting that this cleavage is no longer reserved for the opposite sex, either. If a woman wants to fondle it, hey… Lovato might be down! “I’m very fluid, and I think love is love,” Lovato says in the new issue of InStyle, adding very simply: “You can find it in any gender. I like the freedom of being able to flirt with whoever I want.” The artist, of course, famously dated Wilmer Valderrama for six years. She was then linked to MMA fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos. But just because Lovato is yet to officially date a female, the artist has said many times now that she’s bisexual and would consider it . “I am open to human connection,” Demi said in her YouTube documentary, “Simply Complicated,” adding very basically in this video: “I love who I love.” Right now, however, Lovato is single. She is not actively loving anyone. But this doesn’t mean she’s sad or regretful or lonely or anything like that. “I’m not suffering because I’m alone,” she tells the magazine, explaining her evolution as follows: “There were many years I was in a relationship and I wasn’t learning about myself. Now I’m learning about what I like, what I need, and what I want.” In other words: Demi has matured. She’s just had to do it at times in the spotlight, which can be a challenge for anyone, let alone someone with a history of drug abuse and who has been diagnosed as bipolar . “You have to speak out about stuff. You have to use your voice for good,” the star says. This is certainly something Lovato has done, getting very deep and very personal with how she formerly abused her body . She continues: “I didn’t have anybody who was doing that when I was younger. I grew up in the era of really, really skinny celebrities. That was the look. “And it was cool to be seen partying. Drugs were glamorized, and when I was 12 or 13, nobody [I looked up to] was talking about mental illness. “Nobody was talking about eating disorders. Nobody was talking about cutting. I wanted somebody for my little sister to look up to. “I took on that role because I knew it was important.” We’ve said so many times that we admire Lovato for her candor and the way she has handled these kinds of struggles. I’ve had people come up to me and say, ‘I was going to kill myself until I got this meet and greet.’ And you’re just like, ‘What?’ “Sometimes I’ll meditate afterwards.
