My name’s Jessica and I’ve been a Belieber for 3…

My name’s Jessica and I’ve been a Belieber for 3 years. I live in California and when the Believe Tour tickets went on sale a few months ago, my friend and I tried really hard to get tickets. We couldn’t get any for the LA shows, but we got some for October 5th in Fresno. It was a 5 hour drive, but I couldn’t believe that I was actually going to see my idol live. We were on the 18th row on the floor, I was extremely happy. The concert was on Friday, and the Monday before the concert the friend that I was going with decided to enter a meet and greet contest on Bieberfever.com. All she had to do was gather up our Bieber merchandise and send it in, and they choose a handful of winners to meet Justin at the concert you’re going to. The day before the concert, my friend, Kristen, got an email about the contest saying we’ve won. She told me after I was done with school and I was SO shocked. I screamed and cried and couldn’t believe I was going to meet the person who makes me smile every single day. I was already happy enough with the tickets we had, and now we’re actually going to meet Justin? Wow. The day of the concert, when we got to the Save Mart Center (where the concert was going to be), we went to the box office to pick up our meet and greet wristbands. When we got in line to meet Justin, it took a really long time. But it was worth it. In line, we saw Kenny, Scooter, Allison and Alfredo. Scooter took a long time to go through most of the line and talk with people and take pictures. A few people in front of us, there was a little boy who was going to the concert with his sister and wanted his parents to go too. He came up to Scooter when he was talking to someone else and the mom tried to pull the little boy back, but Scooter picked him up. It was the cutest thing ever. The boy told him about wanting his parents to go to the concert and Scooter took the tickets and left. He gave those tickets to 2 girls outside and came back with 4 new tickets, in the 4th row. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen anybody do. After that, my friend and I got a picture with Scooter, and a little while after, a picture with Allison. It was already the best day ever and the concert didn’t even start. Later on, we were finally about to meet Justin. They put us in groups of 6 however, and I was the last person in line in our group, so I wasn’t able to stand next to Justin. But it was ok because all that mattered was meeting him. When we got in the room, everyone else got their hugs and my friend and I didn’t. Justin leaned over, looked me in the eyes, smiled, and said “Hi” before we took the picture. After the picture, Kristen and I got to hug him. I regret not being able to say anything to him, but being able to actually meet him in person was the most perfect thing ever. The concert was amazing and I had the greatest time of my life. I still can’t believe I finally met my inspiration and saw him live in concert. Heya, I’m Lindi and when it comes to Justin, I like to…

Heya, I’m Lindi and when it comes to Justin, I like to just go for it and try my hardest. Once news came out that Justin was returning to the UK to do some more promotion, I told myself I wouldn’t let anything stop me from meeting him. When Justin was set to come to London (Wed 11th Sept) we headed straight to his hotel before he had even arrived. After hours of waiting and his flight being delayed, he finally arrived at the hotel. However since he had just came from a flight he didn’t come out to see us yet addressed us with a wave from the lobby. This was enough to start my week off as one extremely happy girl. The following day (Wed 12th Sept) was his book signing and I was extremely lucky to be able to get a wristband, after serious stress, and confusion. The atmosphere was amazing and it was so exciting knowing Justin was just around the curtain. Once behind it, we greeted Kenny was a handshake before moving over to Justin, the whole thing went by so fast, I can hardly remember it. I Just remember him saying “Hello”, and seeing his beautiful face before I squeaked out a “Thank you” when he gave me my book. I was very grateful for that moment cause i knew if all else failed I still had that memory. However the next day (Thurs 13th Sept) we spent the whole day outside his hotel, with a detour to The Jonathan Ross Show, where we was able to see him run past the gate to greet everyone. Once we knew he was in filming we decided to return to his hotel and await his return. More hours of waiting went by and still now show. Come around 10pm Justin arrived back, and met some fans/my friends at the back door, however I was round the front and missed him. We carried on waiting and waiting hoping he would pop out to come see us all. Come some time around 12am we heard commotion at the front, and Justin had in fact come out for photos. Lots of people were trying to get close and get their photos not wanting to miss the opportunity. But even after Justin asked for everyone to get in line multiple times, people didn’t cooperate and so he went in. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. We were all positive after that he wouldn’t come back out and we’d all blown our chance.  We decided to stick it out in hope and after even more hours, and a few chants up to his hotel window to say how sorry we were, Justin re-appeared around 2am (Fri 14th Sept) coming out of his hotel on Alfredo’s shoulders shouting “I AM LORD BIEBER.” We all headed over to him, the time making sure to stay behind the barriers. I handed my camera over to Alfredo and it was finally my time for my photo. My face in my photo pretty much explains my emotions at that moment in time. I was over the moon! Justin then moved to my friend Jess next to me, however her camera was not ready, so I offered to take the photo, but Justin told me not to worry, and that he would take it himself. Somehow he managed to hit the view button on my camera, and as I was trying to sort it out for him, he noticed a photo I had taken of him. He instantly laughed and told me to delete the photo. It was a cute adorable photo of him with his tongue sticking out. So cute I even asked him if I could keep it just for myself (only now I realize how creepy that sounded), but he insisted I deleted it cause he didn’t like it. Justin and Jess then took their photo and I jumped in. Once Justin was making his way back down the line I stopped him again and asked if I could have 1 more photo and he was like “Of course.” He then took the photo of me and him, before looking at it and apologizing that his eyes were closed. I couldn’t believe that I’d actually spoken to Justin. It was the best feeling in the world.  I then moved round to Alfredo to have a chat while everyone else was with Justin. He was cute saying how tired he was and couldn’t wait to sleep. We got a photo together and then I decided to just go for it and asked him to follow me on Twitter and he told me to tweet him and he would, so then I asked what should I tweet? He then said “Give me your phone, I’ll do it.” Alfredo then processed to tweet off my phone to himself saying, “Omg I love @AlfredoFlores so much. He is my everything in life. #Rockstarshit” He was laughing like crazy and all I could think was that Alfredo just tweeted ON MY ACCOUNT! We were all so grateful Justin had taken the extra time to come out and taken photos with every single ones of us, it was so sweet, especially after his long day. It was incredible. Shortly after while we were all still on our Justin high, I got a twitter notification telling me Alfredo had just followed me . I just couldn’t believe that he’d actually followed me, so quickly as well. My happiness at that point was through the roof. Everything that happened in those early hour of Friday morning is something i will never forget. Everything was perfect. I couldn’t of asked for a better ending to Justin’s visit to the UK. Even after the knock backs, you have to remember everything happens for a reason, and NEVER give up!  -@LindiCraddock Go here to see the original: Heya, I’m Lindi and when it comes to Justin, I like to…

Epitome Of A Bad Mom Gets 99 Years In Prison For Gluing 2 Year-Old Daughter’s Hands To The Wall And Beating Her Into A Coma

All of this… over potty training. A Dallas woman who beat her 2-year-old daughter and glued the toddler’s hands to a wall because she was struggling with potty training was sentenced Friday to 99 years in prison. Family members in the courtroom sobbed loudly as the judge announced Elizabeth Escalona’s punishment. Escalona pleaded guilty in July to felony injury to a child, but her mother and sister had asked the court for leniency on her behalf. Dallas County prosecutor Eren Price said the 23-year-old mother of five had not taken responsibility for her actions. “Elizabeth lies to hide the evil,” Price said. Defense attorney Angie N’Duka repeated that Escalona was not a monster and that she was deserving of probation or a short sentence. “She is no monster. She can be redeemed. She can be helped,” N’Duka said during closing arguments. N’Duka said Escalona asked, “What about my children?” after the sentence was announced. Price said Escalona will be eligible for parole in 30 years. N’Duka said she plans to appeal. Escalona’s family has acknowledged their dismay and anger following the attack, but her sister and her mother nonetheless asked the judge for leniency. Does this horrible mom deserve 99 years for her crime? Source

The Real Housewives of Miami: Eager Beaver

The Real Housewives of Miami’s latest episode “Eager Beaver” has me convinced that the most annoying women involved in this franchise all live in Florida.  We recap all of the bitch slapping and back stabbing in our THG +/- review. Apparently it’s lets bitch about Karent night because everyone has something to say and admittedly, she’s pretty good at giving them ammunition. Karent is over the top.  She’s always a little too loud and too eager to jump into conversations that don’t involve her.  Minus 10.   But even with that, I can’t say she deserves the verbal beating Adriana is giving her behind her back.  Minus 12 When Adriana quips that Karent would show up to the opening of an envelope I had to laugh. Like Adriana wouldn’t?  All of these women are attention whores or they wouldn’t be on the show in the first place. Then she attacks Joanna when she doesn’t agree with her assessment.  “Haven’t you got the point yet,” she yells across the table. Minus 7 . Adriana needs to ease up on the righteous indignation.  It really doesn’t suit her, especially since she was actively flirting with Joanna’s fiance. Even Ana jumps in on the Karent bashing as she and her daughters stalk Karent’s Facebook page just to bash her and make fun of her boobs.  Ah, there’s family entertainment.  Minus 8. But neither Adriana or Ana can hold a candle to Lea Black.  Lea’s opening line is  “I really can’t deal with stupid.”  Well, damn.  Then her head must be a difficult place to be. When Marysol confides that her and her boyfriend broke up, Lea says, “I hope you laugh at this. He got his green card and left.”  Oh yeah. Who wouldn’t laugh at that.  Ugh. Minus 15 . Who would say something so hurtful as a joke, especially as Marysol is obviously still in pain over the split. But Lea’s all about what others can do for her.  She bashes Marysol but then eagerly invites her to her latest fundraiser.  She invites Joanna to the food tasting only because she wants her to buy a table at her gala for $12,500.   Every time Lea hits the screen I cringe…almost as much as I did when we met Thomas. Thomas is rich and sleazy so of course all of these women want to be his close, personal friend leading to Karent literally jumping into his lap.  Minus 9 . Even Elsa hits the dance floor with Thomas.  Apparently the freak show has begun. At least Joanna remains sober for this shin dig.  Plus 13 .  But she does get all teary eyed when her sister says Romain wants her to move out.  He’s tired of watching Marta laze around their home on their dime and who can blame him? But Joanna’s trying to make things work.  She heads to Ana’s for a cooking lessons and wears the naked man apron.  Minus 7. I’m guessing it was a present from Ana’s ex.   Ana tells her making risotto is easy.  I’m guessing she’s never watched chef Gordon Ramsey on Hell’s Kitchen.  He’s always complaining about everyone screwing up the risotto. At least Ana tells Joanna she thinks she’s making life too easy on Marta.  Plus 10 . The girl will never pull it together if her sister’s always there to foot the bill. Ana really needs to stop talking about Rodolfo.  Even if he is playing both sides, the way she obsesses about him makes her look bad. Lisa’s looking like the sanest one of the bunch.  Plus 15 .  The craziest thing she did all episode was don a string bikini to bathe her dogs.  I’m willing to cut her some slack on that one.  I’m guessing she doesn’t even own a one piece. So Lea thinks Adriana should bitch slap Karent.  I’m hoping someone would bitch slap both Lea and Adriana.  Honestly on this show, there’s equal opportunity.  I don’t mean to endorse violence but if they all slapped some sense into one another I wouldn’t mind a bit. Episode total = -30!                   Season total = -162!

Bossip Exclusive: Neffe Finally Speaks On “Beef” With Keyshia Cole “She Did Not Like The Fact That Mom And I Did The Show With Manny Hailey”

Where’s the beef? You may remember about two years ago Keyshia released a statement revealing that she’d had to kind of take a break from her family members, specifically her Mom Frankie and sisters Elite and Neffe . In recent interviews while promoting her upcoming “Family First” reality show along with hubby Daniel Gibson, Keyshia says she’s mended fences with her mom, who is making a go at sobriety, but that while Frankie will appear on some episodes of her new show — Neffe, won’t be on the program because they’re still not on the best of terms. We spoke to Neffe exclusively about how reality tv helped hurt her relationship with her sister, what life has been like since her BET show ended and why she decided to take a break from Reality TV for two years. Barnabas Collins Is Dead (Thank You, Tim Burton) − But The Debate Over Who Created Him Is Alive!

Barnabas Collins has risen from the grave once more via the Blu-Ray and DVD release of Tim Burton’s film adaptation of   Dark Shadows , and so has spirited argument over who created the tortured vampire back in the 1960s.   Johnny Depp’s interpretation of the fanged fan favorite originated by Jonathan Frid may have been D.O.A. at the box office, but, 45 years after Collins debuted on the gothic ABC soap opera and became a cult icon, the squabbling over his invention just won’t die. Alas, one of the writers is not around to make his case.  A 2009  Variety  obituary for Ron Sproat, who wrote for  Dark Shadows  from November 1966 to February 1969, credits him with creating Barnabas, and in a 2008 interview with the blog Strange Paradise, another writer for the show, Joe Caldwell, said that the show’s executive producer Dan Curtis personally asked him and Sproat to develop the character. Enter former Dark Shadows writer Malcolm Marmorstein, who insists that Curtis gave him the task of creating Collins. Marmorstein, who is credited with writing the episode in which Barnabas’ arm first shoots out of his coffin, joined the daytime serial in December 1966 after working as head writer of the successful NBC soap, The Doctors . He says Dark Shadows was in danger of cancellation, and he  recommended that adding a supernatural element to the series would boost ratings. Specifically, he suggested to Curtis that the character of Laura Collins be turned into a phoenix, who every 100 years would die by fire and then be reborn. The phoenix concept debuted on December 21, 1966 and ratings soon improved.  A few months later, Marmorstein says, Curtis asked him to work a vampire into the storyline. “I told Dan, ‘Absolutely, but we need different ground rules. No one in the town of Collinsport has heard of Dracula. They wouldn’t recognize Bela Lugosi. We have to pretend we’re doing a vampire for the very first time. Let’s get a young, blond guy, because our audiences are very young. They’ll fall in love with him.’” Instead, the dark-haired, sad-eyed Frid was hired and Marmorstein says the Shakespearean actor’s resemblance to Lugosi unnerved him. “I told him, ‘Don’t act. Be a nice man, as you are. This is your family in the house, and you’ve got to be charming for them.” (Frid died in April, a month before Burton’s film was released). Caldwell tells a different version of events. “Just as we were leaving this story meeting, Dan said, ‘I want a vampire for the kids, for the summer,’” Caldwell remembers. “Ron and I got on the elevator, and by the time we got down to the street, we decided we would make him a reluctant vampire — that he had a conscience and yearned for love.” “That never happened!”  responds Marmorstein. “That’s what I said to Dan, that Barnabas is reluctant. He doesn’t want to be a vampire.”  Marmorstein also points out that Reluctant Vampire  is actually the title of a play he wrote and then directed for the big screen as the 1993 feature  Love Bites, starring Adam Ant. “Joe Caldwell never contributed to the creation of Barnabas,” Marmorstein says. “And Ron wasn’t a creative person. He was a burnt-out Ivy Leaguer who never did more than soap opera.” Caldwell and another writer on the show remember  Marmorstein as a know-it-all who was more than a little possessive of Barnabas. “He could certainly be overfond of his ideas,” says Caldwell. Sam Hall, who joined the Dark Shadows  writing staff in November 1967 and whose late wife, Grayson Hall, played Dr. Julia Hoffman on the show, says, “Malcolm was interested in vampires and gave the others lectures on how vampires behave. The other writers thought he was a pain in the ass, trying to take over.” “If the other writers said I was stubborn, maybe I was, because I was clinging to the truth and reality of the character,” Marmorstein replies. “If I built this thing up, and these guys come in and start throwing stupid ideas out, then naturally I’ll say no. Dan wanted more violence and that’s not what the show was about. It wasn’t blood and severed throats and slit guts.” Not surprisingly, tensions escalated between Curtis and Marmorstein, who was fired in August 1967 while he was vacationing with his family. (Marmorstein went on to work for  Peyton Place and write screenplays for  S*P*Y*S and Whiffs , which starred Elliott Gould, as well as Pete’s Dragon and Return from Witch Mountain . “I don’t think he contributed more than anyone else,” Dark Shadows producer Bob Costello says of Marmorstein. “He was part of a team and from that team came Barnabas. If he was as good as he seems to think he was, he wouldn’t have been fired.” Costello, Caldwell and Hall have been content to consign Dark Shadows  to their past, Marmorstein felt compelled to offer his services when Burton decided to adapt the series into a feature.  Marmorstein says he contacted producer David Kennedy via e-mail to no avail. (Kennedy declined to be interviewed, but said he had never met Marmorstein.) Marmorstein says he also sought to set up a meeting with Depp and his sister and co-producer Christi Dembrowski. Depp, who Marmorstein explains is a goof friend of his neighbor, initially seemed interested, but the sitdown never happened. (Dembrowski and Depp did not respond to requests for comment.) “ I thought they might be interested in some of the insights behind Barnabas, which they ignored totally,” Marmorstein says. “I was shocked to see, at the beginning of the movie, Barnabas killing seven or eight innocent people, who weren’t even trying to harm him. Barnabas would never do that. And I saw no reason whatsoever for the movie to be set in 1972. For nothing, I would have told them not to do that. It should have been set today.” Follow Movieline on Twitter.

On 13th of September 2012, my dream came true. I had wanted to…

On 13th of September 2012, my dream came true. I had wanted to meet Justin since 2009 when my sister met him and have been a belieber since then. People always told me to never say never and to believe but it just seemed like a dream. I had come so close to Justin many times before but never close enough to touch him. I had school and I ran home thinking that today was going to be the day. I met my friend Alice in Waterloo and we heard Justin was going to be at Kiss fm so we went to Oxford St but when we arrived, no one was there. They said he recorded it off sight. As you can imagine we were a bit upset but we didn’t give up. A girl on Twitter told me that Justin was going to be at ITV studios at 6 so we got the train back there. Justin waved from the window but did not come out. When we got there everyone was screaming and we ran as fast as we could over and there was no room to get up onto the bars. I fell on the floor in the dirt and ended up sticking my head through people’s legs to try and see him. All off a sudden there he was right in front of me and he said “Hey” and touched my hand. I just burst out crying in disbelief and happiness. Something that I had wanted for so long in my life happened to me. Once Justin had gone inside, a man came out who was working at ITV and we asked him to come over. We gave him a book that we had made for Justin and he took it and promised he would give it to him . Even though Justin hasn’t tweeted us about it, just the thought that Justin may have read it or even just seen it makes me so happy and feel lucky. I didn’t get a picture with Justin, hug him or tell him how much he means to me but I saw him so close. It has given me the strength to believe that I will meet him again and tell him what I want to. My dream became a reality. Even though it seems cheesy and as if it wont happen; never say never and believe that you can do it because if you do, you will meet Justin. I can say that that no matter what happens to me throughout my life Justin, will be someone here to support me and I will always support him and his music. He makes me so happy and he has made such a difference to my life! I will be here until the end. -@BelieberTeensUK Read more here: On 13th of September 2012, my dream came true. I had wanted to…
