Mama June Shannon: Inside Her Failed Intervention…

It’s been clear for multiple months now that June Shannon is in need of help. The long-time reality star is seemingly unwilling to ditch horrible boyfriend Geno Doak and, even more disturbingly, was arrested in March for crack cocaine possession . But we had no idea just how serious Shannon’s issues truly were until we watched Friday night’s season finale of From Not to Hot. As previously teased, the emotional finale centered around an intervention staged for June by her concerned family members. Upon entering her sister Doe Doe’s house, Shannon found daughters Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and Jessica – along with niece Amber – waiting to speak with her about all that’s been going on in her life. June was extremely wary as soon as she walked into the room. “If this intervention doesn’t work, she’s mentally going to have an actual breakdown,” said Pumpkin. The 19-year old then put on a brave face and opened way up to her mother. “Physically, it’s like you don’t care about your health,” she said. “I’m concerned about you. We care about you. Alana cares about you, Jessica cares about you, Doe Doe cares about you and it’s like everybody’s trying to get you back healthy and you have tunnel vision and the only person you see is Geno.” Pumpkin even brought up the credible cheating allegations against Geno , but Mama June was in total denial. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she simply replied. The floor was then turned over to Honey Boo Boo. At just 13 years old, she stood there and explained to her mother that her decision to live with Pumpkin was “not by choice.” Tearfully, Honey Boo Boo added: “I swear to God mama it’s not by choice.” June Shannon Begged by Daughter to Seek Help: Do You Want to DIE?!? Continued the former child beauty pageant competitor, whose “career” in that field is what caused her family to land a reality show in the first place, way back in the day: “I would love to come home and stay with you, tell you about my day, but I can’t do that because I’m scared. I’m scared to stay at your house.” You would think that such an emotional plea from her young daughter would have an impact on June — but it merely caused her to exit the scene. She left the house and went off on therapist Dr. Ish, executive producer Adam Freeman and executive producer Moriah, admitting that she wasn’t the same person she used to be. “Just ask Geno how many times I sit there and cry to him and be like, ‘I hate my f-cking self. I want to f-cking kill the person that I am now,'” she cried. “Because I don’t know who I am. I don’t know if I want to ‘kill myself’ kill myself or I want to kill the person that has took over my body.” Heartbreaking stuff, right? Eventually, the group did actually convince Shannon to enter an in-patient treatment facility. That night, they drove her to the center, which was hours away in North Carolina, and watched with hope as June checked into the facility. But then this hope was quickly dashed. “After only 12 hours, June checks herself out,” the show revealed on the episode. “Geno picks her up. Their whereabouts are unknown.” Two days later, in Alabama, Shannon and Doak were arrested on the aforementioned drug possession charges. At the same time, Doak was arrested alongside Shannon on a charge of domestic violence. “As soon as Geno got Mama from the treatment center, I knew it was over from there. Mama just got charged with a possession of crack cocaine, which is a felony,” Pumpkin said on the finale “Since Mama June got arrested in Alabama, she has to stay there until she goes to court,” added Doe Doe. The series then revealed that Shannon appeared in court and “faces felony charges for drug possession” while “Geno faces felony charges for drug possession and additional domestic assault charges. Geno is ordered by the court to stay away from June.” And yet… the two continued to hang out, as documented below: View Slideshow: June Shannon: Living Out of Vile Hotel Rooms with Crazy BF Geno After Crack Arrest!? According to producers, June is currently in Alabama, where she is awaiting trial. “June remains in Alabama. According to June, she’s not allowed to leave the state until after her hearing,” the show stated. “She could face several years of jail time.” For the time being, Honey Boo Boo is still living with her sister… but praying that her mother bounces back at some point. “So I really hope this is rock bottom for mama because once you hit rock bottom, there’s no more going deeper – you can only go up,” the 13-year old said in a confessional. “I really hope mama’s just thinking I just got arrested. I need to get it together. I need to get my sh-t together. If this isn’t her wake-up call. I could possibly lose her forever.” “As of right now, my hopes for mama is honestly for her to get it together and her to leave Geno and just all-in-all get herself back to where she once was,” concluded Pumpkin. Renee Zellweger Spreads her Legs for Town and Country of the Day

I don’t do nearly enough posts on Renee Zellweger…..I mean…for a fucking reason…the reason being that she’s Renee Zellweger. One of the creepiest faces in Hollywood – bet known for being Bridget Jones….your favorite series you queer…the love interest in Jerry Maguire….and who the fuck cares what else she’s creepy…. She’s also old, at 50 years old….and in some Fancy High Society magazine spreading her legs, not quite enough spreading for my liking, I can’t see her 50 year old asshole that I am sure has seen a lot of action…. I am pretty amazed that anyone cares about Renee Zellweger enough to put her in a magazine, even with her face modification procedures that have made her more human-like, she’s still weird..but she now has has eyes…and looks less like the alien inbred that was…. I was never clear on how she got cast for anything…..how she became a leading lady….is just confusing…but here are some pics of her for you weirdos… I guess she’s got a new show that she’s promoting…that’s how these actors work… The post Renee Zellweger Spreads her Legs for Town and Country of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Shannade Clermont Recalls Her Fateful ‘Sugar Daddy’ Date,Hopes She’ll Come Out Of Jail ‘Strong Like Martha Stewart’

Source: Prince Williams / Getty Shannade Clermont Speaks Out Before Beginning Jail Sentence Shannade Clermont’s accepted her fate and she’s speaking out. The model who’s set to serve a year-long sentence for racking up charges on a dead man’s debit card , sat down with The New York Post’s Page Six for an interview on several things, including what really went down the night that man, James Alesi, died. According to Shannade, Alesi, a 42-year-old real-estate broker, was her “sugar daddy” and she had no idea he was in dire straights when she took his card and left a hotel where they had a rendezvous that prosecutors called a “$400 prostitution date.” “He wasn’t asleep when I left — he was just drunk,” an emotional Shannade told The Post. “I have never been around people who have been on heavy drugs, so I didn’t really know. “It was like, ‘Oh, he was a drunk mess.’ I was annoyed . . . [I thought] he was playing games. So I just left.” Alesi was more than just drunk, he was overdosing and later died from cocaine mixed with fentanyl. Shannade admitted that she took Alesi’s card and used it (obviously) without permission and splurged on a $20,000 shopping spree, rent, flight purchases, and Valentino shoes. She also admitted that when she found out that Alesi died, she STILL used the card. “From the outside looking in, it looks like I knew he was dead and was like ‘haha’ . . . and that’s really sick,” said Shannade. Shannon, also at The Post’s interview, defended her sister, saying it’s “sick” anyone could think that Shannade knew Alesi was dead or dying and that she didn’t call 911. […] “I mean, I didn’t love him; I liked him,” Shannade said. “[He] was just someone who took care of me.” Oh, girl….. There’s much more to this story including Shannade namedropping her buddy Kim Kardashian and shamelessly comparing herself to other incarcerated celebs. Hit the flip for that.

During an interview with ESSENCE , Warwick had this to say: “It’s wonderful to see how she’s been able to create what and who she wanted to be and who she is…very proud of that, I really am. Now, sustaining and becoming a big icon that Gladys Knight, or Patti LaBelle, or Johnny Mathis, or Frank Sinatra, or Sammy Davis Jr. is? I doubt that, I really do. And I love her to death and can appreciate her talent. But that iconic status that I just mentioned, those four names? [She has] a long read [ahead].” This, of course, was taken as shade because she didn’t bow down and kiss Bey’s ring. However, she took to Twitter to clarify in a now-deleted tweet that read: “What I said is in quotes. What @Essence said is not. It takes a long time to reach and achieve iconic status. Keeping Up With The Kardashians Klip: Did Kourtney Kill Kendall’s Fish?

Last week, Keeping Up With The Kardashians showed fans a moment of dramatic irony as Khloe praised Jordyn Woods . But there have been much more serious moments on the show, including the raging fire that sent Kourtney and her kids fleeing to Kendall's house. Now, Kourtney worries that she has overstayed her welcome. Her worries increase when Larsa accuses her of killing Kendall's fish. In a Keeping Up With The Kardashians clip shared earlier this week, Kendall was complaining to Kris that Kourtney had overstayed her welcome. In this new sneak peek, Kourtney is telling bestie Larsa Pippen that she's ready to go home. So much was devastated by the Woolsey fire, but Kourtney's home survived. And, thanks to her virtually unlimited resources, she was able to have professionals purge all traces of smoke. She says that even the ceilings were scrubbed of smoke residue (the neighborhood was cloaked in smoke) and she had all of her vents replaced. Kourtney also reveals to Larsa that she has picked up on the fact that Kendall is ready for her to skidaddle. “Wait,” she tells Larsa. “The other day Kendall…she's like, 'There's no more vegetable oil,'” “And,” Kourtney continues. “I'm like, 'Vegetable oil? We don't even use vegetable oil.'” “I asked everyone: 'have you seen the vegetable oil?'” Kourtney shares. Kourtney says that she then realized that it must have been used up during a family dinner. She notes that Kris, Kim, Kanye, and others came over, and that a professional chef cooked for them all. “I go: 'This is not me !'” Kourtney says, lifting her gigantic mug of what looks like green tea. “But,” Larsa asks. “You haven't bought the mattress, yet? That Reign peed on?” (Side note: we know that Reign is only four, but they don't need to be telling his embarrassing business to the world like that) “No,” Kourtney answers quickly. Considering Kourtney's financial resources, that doesn't sound super courteous of her. “Do you think she's going to [want to replace the mattress]?” Kourntey asks. Smiling, Larsa replies: “One thousand percent.” “When she finds out Reign peed on that bed,” Larsa predicts. “She needs a new mattress.” Kendall is the only one of Kris' children relatable enough to not have children. Parents (and older siblings roped into childcare because they have no choices in life) can become desensitized to urine. Kendall would very understandably prefer to just get herself a brand new mattress, Larsa imagines. There is an undercurrent of tension as Kourtney realizes that Kendall is going to be further irritated with her continued presence in her house. “No,” she says. “But in the beginning, she was really excited for me to stay.” Kourtney notes that Kendall had told her that she “hated being alone,” which sounds like what you'd say to push your sister to not die in a fire. “You know what they say?” Larsa says, sharing some wisdom. “Guests are like fish: Good for about 3-4 days. Then, they start to smell.” The topic of fish leads Kourtney to point out Kendall's pet fish, who doesn't appear to be doing so well. “Why is it upside down?” Larsa asks of the fish in the fish bowl. “It's almost dead.” She then encourages Kourtney to “give it mouth to mouth.” Pro tip: that is not how you save the life of a fish. Larsa then teases Kourtney: “You killed the f–king fish too?” We can only imagine how Kendall will react.

‘The Village’s’ Jerod Haynes On How Therapy Helped Him Become A Better Man And Actor

Source: NBC The Village / NBC/Jerod Haynes The very first time I saw Jerod Haynes , I knew he would be a star. Per a friend’s recommendation, we met back in late 2013 when Jerod came in to audition for my MFA thesis film “Blame.” The minute he read those lines, it was clear he was meant to play the role of this young father at a crossroads: Either turn his son into the police for raping their neighbor or delete the only evidence of the assault on the teen’s cell phone. Despite the tiny budget for our 6-day shoot, Jerod never treated it like an amateur student film. Like a true professional, he came to set ready and delivered a beautiful performance filled with complexity, empathy and rawness. Everyday, I looked into that monitor and was blown away in awe. And having watched his work over the years, whether it’s on stage or on-screen, Jerod is truly a force. Now five-plus-years later, the Chicago native is starring in his first TV leading role in NBC’s “The Village.” On the drama, he plays Ben, a New York City police officer living in his parent’s Brooklyn apartment complex where his neighbors are more like his family. The more obstacles they all encounter in life, the more they grow together. For Ben, he is also juggling a lot—the death of his son, his mother’s battle with pancreatic cancer and falling in love with Ava, an Iranian immigrant who ICE wants to deport.  That, and Ben is helping raise her son Sami. No doubt, the meatiness of a role like this is exactly what Jerod was made for. HelloBeautiful recently sat down with the rising star to talk about NBC’s “The Village,” being an African-American man playing a police officer and how therapy has helped him become a better actor and human being. HelloBeautiful: You were an athlete and then you became an actor. How did that happen? Jerod Haynes: I played basketball and even left college early to pursue it professionally, but my agent stopped answering my phone calls. [Laughs] So that dream never happened and I found myself stuck on my sister’s couch depressed. One day I Googled “depression” and it said something about acting classes, so I approached the Acting Studio Chicago . But I couldn’t afford the classes, so they worked out a barter system. I would take out the trash and do other things around the studio to get free classes. Soon, I realized that I really liked acting, so I took even more classes and auditioned for some plays, got guidance from people in the business and kept going with it. I started to see that as the window for basketball closed, another one opened. HB: OK, so I’ve had the privilege of directing you before, and listen…there were so many moments on set when I was looking into the monitor and was like “Damn, he’s really good.” At what point, did you realize that you were good at this? JH: Kellee, I’m still trying to figure that out! [Laughs] Honestly, sometimes I wonder if they are like, “What is he doing here? I want to say that I’m good, but that’s all subjective. But here’s what I do know. I enjoy this and I am just seeking to get better at it. HB: You have the ability to dig so deep within yourself with your role as Ben and in any supporting role you’ve had, like when you were on “Chicago Med” and your wife died and obviously “Blame.” You like to cry on-screen. [Laughs] JH: Ha! You know, this work teaches you who you really are. And learning who you are is the toughest task you can be given, because you see the good and the bad. You see your flaws up close and you really begin to understand what your triggers are, especially when the scripts require a high level of emotion and thoughtfulness. I started therapy and began learning why certain things affected me and what tools I need to have to work on them. Listen. Therapy works. Also, being able to articulate what and why something affects me in a scene has helped as an actor and as a man. I can read a scene and identify quicker with it and what it requires emotionally. HB: It’s so rare to hear a Black man speak so openly and positively about how therapy has improved their lives. Thank you for this, we need more to speak up. JH: Well, I wasn’t always that way, I won’t lie. But I got to a place where I kept hitting a ceiling and finally had to ask myself what was the worse thing that could happen by going to therapy? HB: Right, like the worse is that you get better? JH: Exactly. And like I said, it works. Source: NBC The Village / NBC HB: Shifting gears to “The Village,” what drew you to this role? JH: I remember reading the script and feeling like there was so much humanity in it. And in these times, we are seeing a lot of isolation and silence and people holding on to grudges. Yet, here is a story about this group of neighbors who try to understand each other and be there for one another. We all have a commonality of pain and that brings us together. You’re wounded, I’m wounded, so let me help you heal and vice versa. And these neighbors need each other’s help and can’t do it alone. Given how divided this country is right now, I was drawn to this story. “The Village” is the show we need now more than ever.
