First off I’m obsessed with MBE, and I have been waiting…

First off I’m obsessed with MBE, and I have been waiting for YEARS to post one of these! AHHH! Ok, here we go! My name is Grace and on October 27, 2012, my dream came true when I met Justin Bieber . I’ve been around ever since the YouTube days – he was the reason I got a Twitter account, and throughout high school everyone’s gotten to know me as “The big Justin Bieber fan.” In 2010 my friends and I lucked out and were able to get 8th row tickets for only $60 each at the My World Tour. Ever since I first saw him live, my life changed. I knew I needed to meet him and I needed to meet him soon. However, the past two years were filled only with new albums and talk show appearances. When it was finally announced that he would be going on tour again, my sister and I cried and cried with excitement knowing we’d get to see him again. It would be my second time and her first. The second we found out there would be a meet and greet contest on  bieberfever.com , we researched it and got ready to enter. We got together all the Justin Bieber stuff we had and wrote BieberFever a letter explaining how much we wanted to meet him and how much we deserved it. We joined  bieberfever.com  a few weeks before our concert and entered. October 26th came and all day I was a mess. I couldn’t stop checking my email, and by the time 5:00 came, I was laying on my bed, depressed, and told my mom I was sure we lost. I was about to go start getting ready for the concert the next day and I checked my e-mail one more time and there it was: “Congratulations Justin Bieber Fan!” and my heart dropped. I fell off my bed crying and screaming and ran to my sister’s room. I honestly couldn’t comprehend my life and I still can’t! That night was absolutely impossible to sleep. I only slept a few hours and then we decided to meet our friends early downtown. We tried to find Justin at the venue or his hotel. At 4:00 we picked up our meet and greet bracelets and I was pretty nervous. I mean what was I supposed to say to my idol, the person I had dreamed about meeting for four years? Justin is the person I would go to when I was sad. I listen to Born to Be Somebody, Never Say Never, Believe and Be Alright after a bad day and he’s always been my pick me up. He seriously means the world to me and I still couldn’t imagine that I would get to MEET HIM! We made friends with two cute girls in line and made a deal that two of us would stand on either side so we could crop each other out and it would be fair (since you have to go in groups of 6) and their moms stood on the ends. After they told us all the rules, we started to walk back to where Justin was. The whole thing was so surreal! The craziest part was that Kenny is the one who let us in and Alfredo is the one who TOOK OUR PICTURE. Like honestly, I would’ve been thrilled to just meet them! We walked in and there he was. I was totally in awe. His skin is as close to perfection as it gets and he’s really small, but still taller than me! I walked up and said “Hi Justin!” He said “Hi sweetheart, how are you?!” (Which the fact that he calls me sweetheart still makes me blush even just typing this) Then we smiled and took our picture. BTW: I’m standing right next to him and my sister Emily is next to me. While I was waiting for the other girls to hug Justin, I turned around and I saw him smiling with his arms already out and he gave me the best hug EVER! My sister hugged him again and I told him I loved him and thanked him for everything. He told me he loved me too and thanked me for coming out. We walked out and sobbed, seriously I still can’t believe it. HE ALSO SMILED WITH HIS TEETH! When we got to the concert we were sitting in the first row of the lower bowl and right by the catwalk. Kenny and Fredo walked by and I gave Kenny a high five! Then I yelled, “FREDO I LOVE YOU!” and he turned back around to smile at me and waved at me. The concert was absolutely amazing, the amount of talent Justin has is truly is incredible. Seriously, greatest night of my life. I also realized when we met him, he was most likely going through his break up with Selena and he smiled the entire meet and greet and didn’t act as though anything was wrong at all. It just goes to show how professional he is and I seriously respect him so much for that. He was SO sweet to us! The amount of things he does for his fans is INSANE. Justin has changed my life in so many ways, and I’m so blessed that I had my opportunity. But years ago I always used to think I would never meet him and I’d read these stories wishing that one day I would get to meet him. I’m writing this for those of you who’ve yet to meet him because with enough work and a little bit of luck, it can be you too! Justin taught me to never say never and he inspires me to never give up on my dreams . Keep dreaming and Never Say Never! Shout out to my sister @mohsiemohs and also my friend, @lexiegardiner, whose time to meet Justin hasn’t come yet, but I know it will some day. I love you both! -@gracemohsie See the rest here: First off I’m obsessed with MBE, and I have been waiting…

On October 8th 2012, I was fortunate enough to be able to meet…

On October 8th 2012, I was fortunate enough to be able to meet the one and only Justin Bieber! I had bought the tickets for my best friend a while back last year, which included, meet and greet passes, and row 3 seats.  My best friend ended up not being able to go with me so I just took one of my little neighbors to go meet Justin with me because she liked him a lot also!  After all of the rushing to the Rose Garden and getting thrown back from place to place, we finally ended up at the check in for the meet and greet. We got in line and stood there waiting to meet Justin. While we were waiting, a man came up to us explaining the rules and let us know that Justin was going to be late. We had to have been waiting for at least 45 minutes before the line of people started to move.  During those 45 minutes we saw Dan Kanter. He was really nice and talked to everyone and it was super awesome!  Then we finally got to the front of the line and we were next to go into the little tent where Justin was. I saw Kenny open up the curtains and call for the next people to come in. When I came in and I saw Justin, I was star struck. It didn’t hit me until then and there that I was actually meeting him.  I quickly went over to him and made to sure to get my arm around him as quick as possible, which then he put his arm around my waist.  He turned to me and introduced himself, shaking my hand and then shaking my little neighbors hand. While she was in the process of moving to the other side of him, he turned to me and winked, my day couldn’t have gotten any better . We then posed for the picture, said our goodbyes, and we were off. Later during the show,  Justin touched my hand three times . It was an amazing concert and I had beyond amazing seats. 3rd row, right by the cat walk, I COULD TOUCH THE STAGE. Basically all I have to say is if you have the chance to go to one of his shows or to go and meet him, jump on the chance. Justin is probably one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever met.  You can really tell that he’s in this business for the right reasons and that he really DOES LOVE US , he’s not just saying it! This experience just made me become a bigger fan of Justin and I can’t wait until he comes back to Portland again!  -@Ashleyw113 See more here: On October 8th 2012, I was fortunate enough to be able to meet…

A South Florida teen was charged with fatally shooting a girl in front of her sister and several other students while riding the bus to school Tuesday morning. The 15-year-old male student was taken into custody at the scene in Homestead, Fla., and later charged with manslaughter and carrying a concealed firearm. 13-Year-Old Girl Fatally Shot On School Bus The Miami-Dade police report says the minor took a gun from his backpack and began displaying it on the bus. He then fired it once, hitting Lourdes Guzman. The 13-year-old girl was airlifted to a Miami hospital, where she died. Eight other children, including Guzman’s 7-year-old sister, were on the bus but not harmed. Authorities took the children and the bus driver to be interviewed. Concerned parents gathered at the shooting site, which was cordoned off by crime scene tape as authorities combed the bus for possible evidence. The shooting happened about seven minutes away from the school. Fabian Otero told ABC News that he was relieved his son Christian, an eighth-grader at Palm Glades, rode to school with his wife on this particular day. He said he and his wife have been shaken by the killing and are going to discuss enrolling their son in a different school or possibly home schooling him. “I was stunned! Pedo-Files: Pervy College Student Popped For Raping And Taping Classmates Kids As Young As 5-Years-Old While Babysitting

Hide ya kids ! There are perverts like this guy on the loose who will take a child’s innocence like it’s nothing. Via UK Daily Mail reports : A college student is accused of molesting at least six young children and videotaping the assaults under such titles as ‘Monster Unleashed.’ Alexander R. Richter, 28, who attended Gateway Technical College in Wisconsin, was jailed on 49 felony charges November 9. Authorities say Richter volunteered to baby-sit his classmates’ children and then repeatedly had sex with the boys and girls on camera as they cried and begged him to stop. When detectives served Richter with a search warrant he told them, ‘I’ll save you time, the things you are looking for are under the coffee table,’ the criminal complaint said. Richter faces dozens of charges including first-degree sexual assault of a child under 13, sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child p0rn0graphy. Officers found an unspecified number of DVDs, a tripod, cameras and a hard drive in his house in Racine, Wisconsin. They said one DVD, titled ‘Monster Unleashed,’ showed Richter having sex in his home with four different children — three girls and a boy. The youngest child, one of the girls, just turned 5 this month. In some of the footage, the children are crying and can be heard telling Richter to stop or seen trying to fight him off, according to the complaint. Police are looking to identify more victims. Authorities have been able to name six children who appear in videos and photographs from evidence seized at Richter’s house. ‘We’re not putting a number on it, but from the evidence we’ve recovered we believe there are additional victims,’ Racine police Sgt. Marty Pavilonis said. Richter approached at least one classmate last year, according to the criminal complaint, and offered to baby-sit her children – a son who was then 6 years old and a daughter who had just turned 4. He’s accused of making at least 11 videos of himself having sex with both children, including one in which police say he guided the boy into attempted sexual activity with his sister. Prosecutors said Richter also had photos of the siblings posing in the buff and simulating sex acts with each other. The allegations came to light last month when the boy, now 7, touched another child inappropriately, the criminal complaint said. When confronted, the boy told his mother that was how ‘Alex’ touches him and his sister, according to the complaint. Investigators say the children told them Richter had sexually assaulted them both orally and anally on multiple occasions, used adult pleasure toys on them and filmed them taking baths. Pavilonis said authorities are trying to determine whether any of the images have been shared with other people as child p0rn0graphy. Richter remains in jail after a judge set his bond at $1.5 million in cash. SMH. Always be wary of people who volunteer to spend time alone with your children. This man is a monster and we hope he never sees the light of day again. If there’s any justice he has a big azz cellmate who will show him what it feels like.

REVIEW: ‘Anna Karenina’ Is So Wright It’s Wrong − Beautiful To Behold But Empty Inside

There’s a five-minute tracking shot in the middle of Joe Wright’s 2007 film  Atonement  that is impossible to forget once you’ve seen it. A wounded Robbie ( James McAvoy ) is on the beach at Dunkirk, waiting to be evacuated, and in a nightmarish, beautiful single Steadicam take he wanders past crowds of soldiers, burning cars, horses being shot, a beached ship, a choir singing, the ferris wheel still spinning in the ruined background. It’s a mind-boggling piece of work, requiring immaculate timing and choreography, and it takes you right out of the movie because it’s there to show off.   As impressive as it is from a production standpoint, the shot takes your focus away from the story and puts it on the mechanics of what’s happening on screen. Wright’s new adaptation of Tolstoy’s  Anna Karenina   lives in the hollow clockwork world of that shot. From a filmmaking perspective, it’s a gorgeous shadowbox of a production, filmed largely in a single location: a set resembling a run-down theater that was built on a Shepperton Studios sound stage. It starts with the sounds of an unseen audience settling down — there are no visible viewers of this story other than ourselves — and closes in on a proscenium arch as a curtain goes up. The scrim behind it reads “Imperial Russia, 1874.” Oblonsky (Matthew Macfadyen) is on stage, receiving a shave. When a door opens off the side, it is to a snowy street exterior in Moscow. He pays a visit to the family governess he’s having a fling with, and when he heads home, through a backstage area, he opens a door to see his wife Dolly (Kelly Macdonald) weeping over evidence of his infidelity. The scene sets the story into motion as his sister Anna ( Keira Knightley ) comes to visit in an attempt to save their marriage. Anna Karenina  isn’t a filmed stage production in any way — it lives within this theoretical theater while not being confined to it. Characters stride up wooden stairs into bustling rafters that stand in for a city street, or walk through a bureaucratic office that, as the camera rotates, is pulled away and restaged as an upscale restaurant. Musicians wander through the space providing a soundtrack to the transition as it happens in front of our eyes. It’s an incredible thing to behold, at least at the start. Wright is clearly a fan of Aleksandr Sokurov ‘s  Russian Ark , and the intense cleverness of his direction and the way Anna Karenina revels in artifice set the film apart visually from typically glossy film adaptations of classics that gleam with assured self-importance. But the gorgeous look and stage work and the way the movie connects impossible spaces — backdrops lift to reveal the Russian countryside, a grassy field running down the stage into the orchestra — is only a temporary salve. The unfortunate truth is that beneath the initial brilliance of its stylized setting, the film is just as dramatically inert as a more stuffy, traditional take on the material might have been. Scripted by playwright  Tom Stoppard , the film labors to fit Tolstoy’s sprawling story into its two hour and ten minute runtime by drawing its characters with minimal lines. The film may be experimental, but the adaptation is actually fairly traditional, if briskly efficient. Anna, a Saint Petersburg aristocrat married to the stiff but good and moral Alexei Karenin (Jude Law), meets the handsome cavalry officer Count Vronsky (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) when departing the train for Moscow. Everyone expects Vronsky to propose to Dolly’s sister Kitty (Alicia Vikander), but he falls for Anna, following her home to Saint Petersberg and around to the parties, operas and other frilly gatherings until he wins her. As Anna struggles with wanting to leave Karenin for Vronsky, a scandal that would result in her being shunned by society, Kitty comes back around to Levin (Domhnall Gleeson), the earnest, shy childhood friend of Oblonsky whose proposal she at first turned down. The performances in  Anna Karenina are strong, albeit built around a story told in shorthand, and the actors sometimes feel like they’re staging recreations of famous paintings rather than embodying characters. Knightley, lit sumptuously and dressed in luxurious gowns, stands out among the performers-as-props, but she can’t portray the complicated journey of a character who gives up everything for love, only to doubt and regret it. In this condensed version of the story, she seems more like someone who dithers for a few hours before throwing herself in front of a train. Wright has said that his inspiration for this adaptation was that the aristocrats at the time of Tolstoy’s novel were constantly on display and observed in society, living their lives as if they were always on stage. But this Anna Karenina feels like a diminishment of the story, not the essence of it. Rather than a tale of an affair that would have been fine had it not turned into a more serious love that broke societal rules, Anna Karenina feels like a group of people play-acting at passion. They hit all the famous elements in the story — the train station, the ball, the races, the running off together, the suicide — without a sense of them as a coherent whole or as anything other than opportunities for innovatively staged sequences. It’s a beautiful creation, but a remote and empty one. Follow Alison Willmore on Twitter. Follow Movieline on Twitter.
