My name is Emilee and this was My Bieber Experience. From the…

My name is Emilee and this was My Bieber Experience. From the first time I heard “One Time” I was instantly hooked. I remember my friend showing me it because she thought the girl in the video looked like one of our friends from school. When she was showing me the video I had little interest in the girl and a wholeeee lot in the amazing boy who was singing the lyrics. Ever since then, Justin was (and still is) all I ever thought about. Now let’s fast forward to October 2010. That was the first time Justin was coming to my city with the My World Tour. Sadly, I didn’t have tickets and wasn’t able to go. I sat in my room that whole night and bawled my eyes out . I was so upset. I remember thinking there is no way I will ever be able to see him again. All of that changed when he released Believe on June 15th, 2012 and I found out he was going to have another tour! I was SO excited! The day the tickets went on sale, me and my sister sat on the computer trying to get them. Unfortunately, they sold out before we could even sign into Ticketmaster. I still remember that day. All I did was cry that whole day and think I really was never going to be able to see my idol live in person. I was crushed. That whole summer me and my sister spent our weekends driving all around our city trying to win tickets with different radio stations. We had no luck. But in October 2012, a local radio station released a new contest. It was called “Dads In Drag”. Yeah, that’s right. Exactly what you are thinking about. The contest meant your dad had to dress up like a drag queen and get as many votes as possible! The winner won two backstage passes, two meet and greets, two lower level tickets to the show, and $100 cash to spend at the merchandise table!! There was just one catch … There was only going to be 40 finalists out of like 1,000 entries. I was so nervous! I begged my dad to do it anyways and he said YES! I was so glad and thankful that he did! Guess what happened. My dad was chosen as one of the finalists!!! No one has any idea how excited I was when my mom called and told me! Now all that was left to do was vote! We had exactly one week to get as many votes as possible. That whole week it was all we talked, tweeted, and posted on facebook about. We were trying whatever we could to try and win these tickets. By the end of the week we had people from EIGHT different states voting for me to win! Eight! Finally the day had come and the radio station was going to announce the winner. I had school that day and the whole time I was freaking out. I kept texting my mom every 5 minutes asking if they had announced it yet. Finally they told everyone they would announce the winner at 3. I got out of school at 2 so I would be able to hear it. My dad came and picked me up from school that day and on the way home I got the best call any belieber could ever get. It was the radio station. I answered the phone and this is what they said, “YOU JUST WON TICKETS TO SEE JUSTIN BIEBER THIS FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2ND!!!” I screamed as loud as I possibly could and started crying! I couldn’t believe I was getting to meet my idol in person in less than a week! It was seriously a dream come true. I will never forget that phone call, that summer, that contest, and November 2nd, 2012. a.k.a. THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!  The picture above is the picture my dad sent in for the contest.  We also were lucky enough to meet Dan Kanter! Thank you, for giving me a chance to share My Bieber Experience with other beliebers! Hopefully it gives them hope that one day there dreams can come true just like mine did!  Read the original: My name is Emilee and this was My Bieber Experience. From the…

Ben Affleck ‘Reluctantly’ Fired Some ‘Argo’ Actors

Ben Affleck ‘s Argo is in the running for a host of possible Oscar nods this season. And while the film, which he directs and stars in is now just shy of making $100 million in the U.S. (it’s closing in on $150 million internationally) critical acclaim and the big bucks mask some of the pitfalls of moviemaking. For the first time, Affleck had to give some actors the boot while shooting the feature based on a true story set during the Iranian hostage crisis. “I’ve fired a couple of actors. It’s the worst thing in the world because I know, as an actor, what it’s like,” Affleck said during THR ‘s directors roundtable discussion via Access Hollywood . “I was a child actor, and the director threatened to fire me. That traumatized me. I was 13 years old. And I went around in fear of being fired.” The Good Will Hunting Oscar-winner first went behind the camera as director with Gone Baby Gone in 2007, but was forced to sack a few actors during Argo . “This movie [Argo] was the only time I really fired people, but I had to do it,” he said. “I had all these Persian actors who were supposed to speak Farsi. And often they would audition in English and I would say, ‘You can speak Farsi, right?’ ‘Oh, yes, yes.'” Affleck recalled one actor who hammed up his part as an Iranian during production, using some stereotypes that prompted Affleck to call him on his tricks. “A guy came in for a really crucial part, and on the day of shooting, we were blocking the scene, and this guy’s got this mini speech,” he said. “And the guy did it, and it was just terrible. He was sort of like, you know, twisting the mustache and being the Iranian villain and having the accent and adding all these flourishes. A couple times I said, ‘Just do nothing and say your lines. Let’s try that.” And another actor ran afoul after trying to grab camera time, also getting the boot after one incident. “There was this guy who had a little bit in the movie, but it was so nice,” Ben said. “And then when this other guy was blowing it — and not just blowing it, but hamming it up — it made it easy to say, ‘No, you know, you’re trying to ruin my movie.'” [ Source: Access Hollywood ]

Sundance 2013: Where Stephenie Meyer, Harry Potter & Pussy Riot Worlds Will Collide

The unveiling of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival line-up has begun! (Get the first wave of titles in the U.S. and World dramatic and documentary slate, plus the NEXT selections here .) Here are ten intriguing, surprising, and promising figures and filmmakers to look forward to following around Park City as their films vie among the 16 dramatic and 16 documentary films in competition this year — including a certain Twilight maven, everyone’s favorite boy wizard, and two kinds of Bries. 1. Stephenie Meyer ( Austenland ) When you think “billion-dollar vampire franchise” you don’t necessarily think “Sundance,” but after producing the last two films in her Twilight series ( Breaking Dawn Part 1 & 2 ) and the upcoming adaptation of her sci-fi novel The Host , Stephenie Meyer came onboard to produce another lit adaptation, Austenland , based on Shannon Hale’s book — and the Jerusha Hess-helmed pic, starring Keri Russell, Bret McKenzie and JJ Feild, makes its debut in competition in Park City. Thirtysomething, single Jane is obsessed with Mr. Darcy, as played by Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice. On a trip to an English resort, her fantasies of meeting the perfect Regency-era gentleman become more real than she ever imagined. 2. David Sedaris ( C.O.G. ) Bestselling author David Sedaris gets his first big screen adaptation in C.O.G. , based on a short story in Sedaris’s book Naked . Kyle Patrick Alvarez directs Jonathan Groff ( Glee ) in the account based on Sedaris’s own experience working as an apple picker in Oregon, joined by a colorful cast including Casey Wilson, Dean Stockwell, Corey Stoll, Dale Dickey, and Denis O’Hare. In the first ever film adaptation of David Sedaris’ work, a cocky young man travels to Oregon to work on an apple farm. Out of his element, he finds his lifestyle and notions being picked apart by everyone who crosses his path. 3. Lake Bell ( In a World… ) The hilarious Lake Bell stars in and makes her feature directorial debut with In a World after cutting her teeth on the comedy short Worst Enemy and episodes of Childrens Hospital . An underachieving vocal coach is motivated by her father, the king of movie-trailer voice-overs, to pursue her aspirations of becoming a voiceover star. Amidst pride, sexism and family dysfunction, she sets out to change the voice of a generation. 4. Harry Potter — okay, okay: Daniel Radcliffe ( Kill Your Darlings ) Daniel Radcliffe as Allen Ginsberg. Ben Foster as William Burroughs. Jack Huston as Jack Kerouac. An untold story of murder that brought together a young Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs at Columbia University in 1944, providing the spark that led to the birth of an entire generation – their Beat revolution. 5. Sebastian Silva & Michael Cera ( Crystal Fairy ) Michael Cera stars in two upcoming films from Silva, who won the Sundance Grand Jury Prize in 2009 for The Maid , but they had me at “Mescaline-fueled psychedelic trip,” (Their second film, Magic Magic , is also set in Chile.) Jamie invites a stranger to join a road trip to Chile. The woman’s free and esoteric nature clashes with Jamie’s acidic, self-absorbed personality as they head into the desert for a Mescaline-fueled psychedelic trip. 6. Cherien Dabis ( May in the Summer ) Sundance alum Dabis nabbed the FIPRESCI prize out of Cannes with 2009’s Amreeka and serves as writer, director, and star of her sophomore feature, which also features Alexander Siddig, Hiam Abbass, Bill Pullman, and Alia Shawkat. A bride-to-be is forced to reevaluate her life when she reunites with her family in Jordan and finds herself confronted with the aftermath of her parents’ divorce. 7. Lynn Shelton ( Touchy Feely ) The busy Lynn Shelton ( Your Sister’s Sister ) is back in Park City with Touchy Feely , starring Rosemarie Dewitt, Ellen Page, and rising star Scoot McNairy, who should be your favorite breakout actor of 2012. A massage therapist is unable to do her job when stricken with a mysterious and sudden aversion to bodily contact. Meanwhile, her uptight brother’s foundering dental practice receives new life when clients seek out his “healing touch.” 8. The Bries: Alison Brie ( Toy’s House ) & Brie Larson ( The Spectacular Now ) Sundance-watchers get a double serving of girl crushes as Hollywood’s two gorgeous, adorable Bries pop up in competition pics. Toy’s House : Three unhappy teenage boys flee to the wilderness where they build a makeshift house and live off the land as masters of their own destiny. Or at least that’s the plan. The Spectacular Now : Sutter is a high school senior who lives for the moment; Aimee is the introvert he attempts to “save.” As their relationship deepens, the lines between right and wrong, friendship and love, and “saving” and corrupting become inextricably blurred. 9. Shane Carruth ( Upstream Color ) You’d be hard pressed to find a filmmaker whose new work will be as anticipated at Sundance as Shane Carruth, who presents his first film since debuting with the sci-fi indie hit Primer . A man and woman are drawn together, entangled in the life cycle of an ageless organism. Identity becomes an illusion as they struggle to assemble the loose fragments of wrecked lives. 10. Pussy Riot ( Pussy Riot – A Punk Prayer ) The Russian punk ladies imprisoned for being awesome are the subject of the documentary Pussy Riot – A Punk Prayer , which world premieres in Park City and competes in the World Cinema Documentary category. Three young women face seven years in a Russian prison for a satirical performance in a Moscow cathedral. But who is really on trial: the three young artists or the society they live in? Ariel Winter Needs Her Mommy Back

If you guys remember, I wrote about Ariel Winter and her cute — and more importantly, of age — sister a few weeks ago . I know their family situation isn’t good right now, but it looks like Ariel’s sister isn’t doing a great job of bringing her up. She needs her mom back. No teen should be wearing pantyhose or whatever those are at that age. And judging from these pictures and those last ones , it also looks like her sister’s feeding Ariel nothing but slushies. What’s next? Letting her stay up until midnight to watch scary movies? » view all 11 photos Related Posts: Ariel Winter’s Sister Could Make A Hot Babysitter Adrianne Curry Twitter Bikini Pictures Adrienne Curry Gets Cozy With Jenna Jameson Adrianne Curry Exposes Her Tight Body Photos: PacificCoastNews

I’m Danielle and I met my idol on November 9th, 2012. This…

I’m Danielle and I met my idol on November 9th, 2012 . This was the best day of my whole entire life and I am so grateful that I finally got the chance to meet my idol. I’ve been a Belieber since 2009 and I am sure to be here to the end. Every since I first heard Justin, I became more and more in love with him and as the years went by, I was dying to get the chance to meet him or even go to one of his concerts. In December of 2010, Justin was performing in Z100’s JingleBall in Madison Square Garden, and I begged my mom for tickets and the day of, I went and it was amazing. When Justin’s pre-sale tickets came out for his Believe tour, I was in school and I told my mom and dad to try and get me tickets. I wouldn’t care if they were bad seats , I just needed to see my idol. Turns out my parents weren’t answering me all day in school and I cried in all my classes. I had to go to the bathroom and just cry because I had a strong feeling I wasn’t going to get tickets. All my friends told me during school that their parents got tickets for them, and I just started to cry even more. I got home from school and my parents were looking at me strange and I was crying and I was so mad they didn’t get me tickets. My dad was like, “We will try tomorrow…” and I was devastated. Then my dad called me over and said “Well..I got you tickets…” I started flipping out and then he showed me the paper for the tickets, and he was like “Thats not it..” and I was like.. oh my god. There’s no way, this can’t be happening. He showed me the paper that said “Ultimate VIP Package” and thats when I started breaking down in happy tears. I was so blessed that finally after 3 years, I got the chance to meet my idol. This meant the world for me. I got these tickets around May, and I had to wait until November 9th to meet him and the wait was KILLING me. It was getting closer. 10 days. 5 days, and the second I realized it was the next day, I couldn’t function at all. I got to the arena early, and me and my sister got to be the first people on line since we were there extremely early. I met so many Beliebers on the line and it made me even more excited. As I was waiting I saw Dan Kanter , and I ran to him and I was like. “HIII DAN!!!” and we took a picture. I was like, “Thank you so much.” They finally put the wristbands on us and brought us down the escalator into the area where Justin was. I couldn’t breathe at this point. They finally let us into the waiting area by the curtain where Justin was standing. It was about an hour, and there was a knot in my stomach, I was so nervous. After all these years, I was in the same room as Justin, and it didn’t even seem like real life. The security guards were ready and I heard Justin through the curtain saying, “LET’S DO THIS!” They opened the curtain and there he was. Just standing there looking like an angel. It all didn’t seem real, it was like a dream to me. I walked up to him shaking with my hands on my face in shock and he’s standing there smiling. I walked up to him and hugged him, and he hugged back and then I was like “Omg hi I love you so much.” Then there was confusion over the picture arrangements and the security was rushing to take the picture so I went to go take the picture. As they were taking the picture I was like “I love you so much..” and the he was like “I love you too!” We made eye contact and we smiled and I was literally in shock – like the words couldn’t even come out of my mouth. It was so short, but so worth it. After I met him, I just started breaking down and crying. I was just so happy. It was the best feeling in the world to know you waited so long to finally meet your inspiration, and in the moment, it was so real. Soon after the concert started and as I was in my seats. I saw Alfredo walk in my section, and I got up and went to talk to him. “FREDO CAN I PLEASE TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU” and he was like “Yeah sure!” and he stuck his tongue out, he’s so cute! This day was just the best day of my whole entire life. Justin is the reason I’m on this earth, and I am so happy that I finally got the chance to meet him, and go to his concert. I will ALWAYS be a Belieber at heart. Justin means everything to me and I will support him till the end. I’m so happy I got the chance to write something for this website, I remember I used to look at these and cry because I used to realize that I won’t ever meet Justin…Never Say Never right? Always BELIEVE. For all of you Beliebers out there, you will meet or get noticed by Justin or the crew. -@AllThingsBiebur Read the original post: I’m Danielle and I met my idol on November 9th, 2012.
