Lil Wayne has a knack for making it rain. This is unquestioned. No matter the timing, no matter the circumstances, the rapper wants to throw dat cash! Hey, when you gots insane amounts of bank, flaunt it. With that in mind, The Chive created this amazing photo gallery of Weezy making it rain in all sorts of interesting situations … ones you might not typically associate as the most natural fits for his notorious strip club behavior. For instance, here’s him right after the royal wedding … … and in President Barack Obama’s Situation Room, during the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan last year. Someone’s gotta lighten the mood: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton looks understandably shocked, but the rainmaker does what he’s gotta do. Follow the link above for a dozen more of these gems.
This is worse than that Chris Brown superhero cartoon . A Watkinsville, Ga., steakhouse is feeling the heat after promoting its “black and bleu” ribeye sandwich as being inspired by Chris Brown’s beatdown of Rihanna. Seriously, they promoted the burger that way. Chops & Hops put up a notice last week on the eatery’s Facebook and Twitter pages announcing the newly-created sandwich, available for one day only. A heavy dose of ribeye topped with blue cheese, sliced tomato, “silver Lamborghini” onions and shredded romaine. The restaurant’s posting said: “@chrisbrown, @rihanna and us teamed up for an award winning sandwich … Chris won’t beat you up for eating this unless your name starts with a R and ends with A.” Mmmyeah. Shockingly, some customers weren’t fans. Considering Rihanna was assaulted in a Lamborghini to the point where she sustained some major black and blue bruises, probably not the best PR stunt. Not that Richard Miley is apologizing. On the contrary! “I was not trying to make a joke of domestic violence, just bringing light to the situation through food,” he said. “I do not regret doing it. I don’t regret anything.” However, the restaurant set the record straight on Saturday with a follow-up Facebook post saying it takes the issue of domestic violence seriously. “The owners of C&H would like to make sure everyone knows that we and our staff DO NOT SUPPORT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. Many of us have been affected by domestic violence in some manner and realize that this is no joke,” read the message. It went on to state that Chops & Hops plans to donate all proceeds from burger sales to Project Safe Team 6, an anti-domestic violence charity. He did not say if they are planning a Karrueche Tran -themed Asian dish.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is in rehab for his prescription drug problem and his former Jersey Shore co-star, Angelina Pivarnick, is not the least bit surprised. Or particularly sympathetic, apparently. Ange, who quit the show in each of its first two seasons (for good the second time around), slammed Sitch to the New York Post, terming him “Popeye on crack.” “When he was on the show, he got in trouble for prescription pills,” she added, saying he’s dabbled in drugs for a while. “We were filming in a club in Miami.” “One of the producers said, ‘Hey what was that?’ He had to give them up.” Asked if The Situation has a drug problem, his rep directed us to his Facebook page, where he came clean about the issue after some initially vague denials. TMZ first reported that Mike was in rehab . He’s now confirmed that. “I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion,” he wrote, thanking his fans for their support.
‘This season, we kind of appreciated Jersey more,’ he tells MTV News of season five. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Sway Calloway Sway and Pauly D Photo: MTV News In a sea of laughs (courtesy of Vinny trying to hook up with two lesbians) and drama (including the Situation gossiping about Deena’s sister’s bedtime activities with his brother) on the “Jersey Shore” season finale, perhaps the biggest drama of all was caused by a prank pulled by Pauly D and Vinny. After the crew returned from a camping trip, they found that their pals had pulled the ultimate practical joke, putting all their belongings and the house’s furnishings outside. While almost everyone laughed it off, their pal the Situation didn’t find it as amusing, complaining ad nauseam about the joke. “The finale’s crazy because we go all out with the pranks,” Pauly told MTV News about the season ender. “So me and Vinny, we’re like prank-war champions. The whole house [suffers]. They appreciate it, but they get mad.” It capped off a season that was full of fun, drunken nights, as well as some real emotion, especially when Vinny left the house for a minute to deal with his anxiety issues . In the end, Pauly recalled all the laughs he shared with his roomies. “Well, this season, we kind of appreciated Jersey more,” he said. “So we took advantage of it and everything it has to offer. We were in Italy for so long [last season] that we never were away from the country for that amount of time, so you realize how much you miss gym, tan, laundry. There was no tanning beds in Italy. “Something that surprised me? When Vinny left,” he added about his buddy’s short break from the house. “I never thought he would ever leave me. So he left me, but good thing we brought him back.” With season five over, it’s not clear if the show will come back for a sixth season . If it does happen, Pauly D is down to hit Seaside again. “Absolutely! I’m there! I love summers on the Jersey Shore,” he said. “I love it as a show, and I love it with my roommates. I wouldn’t do it without [them]. I gotta do it with them. I want all of them, and I want the Jersey Shore.” Until then, fans can get their DJ Pauly D fix with his spin-off, “The Pauly D Project,” kicking off on March 29, the same day as the premiere of “Punk’d.” And of course, the “Shore” spin-off featuring mom-to-be Snooki and JWoww is currently in production. In light of the fact that Jionni got Snooki pregnant , and multiple cast members have their own spinoffs coming out, was this the last ever Jersey Shore? That remains to be seen, but if Thursday night’s Season 5 finale turned out to be a swan song, our favorite roving gang of guidos/ettes could do worse. Between epic prank wars, laughter, tears, bittersweet emotion, hooking up with lesbians and even a natural disaster, this chapter had it all in Seaside. Let’s recap the season finale of Jersey Shore , THG style! The Situation gets upset when he sees Pauly D and Vinny’s latest prank. Like, for real upset. Like, it “really, really, really” pisses him off, he assures us. And by that metric, Operation Inside Out was totes a success! Plus 14 . Eventually, Pauly helped Sitch bring all his “ruined” belongings back in the house. Because that’s what friends do … to help others quit whining. Plus 4 . Sitch tells Snook the gossip about Deena’s sister. Guy cannot go 15 minutes without gossiping. Minus 10 for being lame, Plus 15 for entertaining fans. Deena finds a new drink holder. Fake boobs are so utilitarian. Plus 9 . Vinny becomes “friends” with two lesbians at the club, and it seems they’re into him too. It’s as if he’s died and gone to guido heaven. Plus 20 . Vinny and the lesbians get comfy in the smush room. Is it just us or have the last two seasons felt like a softcore porno at times? No points , just curious. “This is the moment when heroes are made,” says Vinny. “This story’s going to be told for generations to come.” Maybe, but Plus only 5 , because as Ronnie put it, “one of them [the lesbians] looks like Matthew McConaughey.” Later, Vinny relaxes after his first lesbian threesome. Seriously, what is there left to accomplish on reality TV, or in life? Time to retire now. Plus 11 . Deena confronts Situation for spreading rumors. Because that always works. Minus 9 . Oh no, the Tornado Whistle detects a storm a-comin’ … literally in this case! Plus 5 . Sammi tries to comfort Deena during the storm. Hurricane Irene, go home! Minus 24 for evoking all kinds of bad memories for East Coast residents. Minus 6 more for Deena’s big idea to drive away from it. When the house loses power, Deana goes into a full meltdown while the others calmly go about their business and make fun of her. Plus 10 . The Situation’s brother and Deena’s sister meet the gang at the club. Those two are together! Plus 10 for the possibility of Mike and Deena being family. We never actually find out what this “special talent” is that Dee’s sister has in the sack. Although Frank apparently told Mike about it. Standard. Minus 5 . At Sunday dinner, the roommates toast to their last night. Sniff . Plus 8 . The guys go to fly kites. Seriously. How quaint and random. Plus 3 . The girls try to launch water balloons at the boys. Ineptly. Minus 7. Ronnie prepares to attack, while Pauly comes armed with a Super Soaker. Really, girls, Plus 9 for the fun of it, but no way you were going to win this fight. JWoww leaves the shore house with Roger. Love those two. Plus 5 . Vinny’s mom is shocked by the state of the house. Did she not watch the first four seasons? It’s gotta be different to lay eyes on in person, but Minus 12 . Let’s take a moment in honor of Ronnie and Sammi, who just went through a whole season of Jersey Shore without explosive fights! Incredible! Plus 19 . Pauly D and Vinny hug it out. Such an emotional moment. Plus 8 . Snooki says goodbye to the duck phone. Perhaps the second most emotional moment of the evening. Hopefully we’ll see you again soon, duck. Plus 4 . “Leaving the shore house is bittersweet, like, you’re excited to go home and see your family and friends, but then again, I mean, the party’s over. I mean, what am I gonna do with my life now?” – Snooki, who just answered that question . Plus 10 . Or not: “I definitely would love to be in this house fifty years from now. I mean, I can do this forever, like every summer until I’m 90 years old.” Minus 10 . EPISODE TOTAL: +86! SEASON TOTAL: +434! Jersey Shore …
New Orleans rapper Mystikal was locked up for six years stemming from a sexual assault charge. Now that he’s out, he’s back to rapping after having signed a new deal with hometown label Young Money/Cash Money . The experience has been a humbling one for the former No Limit soldier. Mystikal sat down with Sirius XM’s Hip-Hop Nation to discuss life after prison, how it feels to be signed to Young Money, and how Lil Wayne and Baby saved his life. When it comes to Mystikal’s feelings of going from prison to a nice record contract, Mystikal said: “My head is still spinning right now. It’s humbling. It’s really humbling to be looking from the six years [in prison], looking up at everything. That’s at the bottom of the barrel. The only thing worse than being in prison is probably death itself. So to do that for six years and then to come home and be on top with the top record label in the world? It’s humbling.” Mystikal also shared that he is more mindful about his subject matter when rhyming. He then expressed how fortunate he feels to be in his current situation. “That was nothing but God that allowed this situation to unfold like this,” the rapper offered. “After the debacle, and everything that happened, God still showed up at the end.” When he was asked about Lil Wayne and Baby’s impact on him, Mystikal replied, “They didn’t save my career; they saved my life.” RELATED: Mystikal Announces Album Title On 106 & Park [VIDEO] Mystikal Ft. Police are looking to speak with rapper Rick Ross after a man was shot to death in front of his Miami Gardens home this morning, according to TMZ. Ross was not present at the time of the shooting. At this point in the investigation, he’s not considered a suspect. Police found the victim, a 40-year-old man, laying inside a gate at the home. Investigators don’t know if the victim has any connection to Ross, but since he is listed as the property owner, cops obviously want to ask him a few questions. So far, no comment from Rick’s camp about the situation. Ross experienced major health problems last year, experiencing two seizures in a matter of months. Here’s hoping he’s totally uninvolved with this tragedy. [Photo: WENN.com]
