Guess nobody told Diddy you ain’t gotta lie to kick it! Despite denials of a hookup from both him and Kate Upton insiders say he’s merely trying to publically placate Cassie. Via Confidenti@l reports : While the rapper took to Twitter Wednesday to say he didn’t know Kate Upton personally — Confidenti@l exclusively reported that the duo “sucked face” at LIV in Miami on March 24 — we know he does. They’ve been pals since meeting at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Feb. 16 last year. We also know the real reason the duo are trying so hard to keep their makeout session on the down low: Sean “Diddy” Combs’ now-furious, on-again, off-again gal pal Cassie was also in Miami at the time. She was staying with the rapper that weekend, but hosting her own party at club Bamboo, and wasn’t around to keep an eye on him. Cassie, 26, should have taken notes from some of Diddy exes, like Kim Porter, who once said, “I’m aware that he’s cheated,” or J.Lo, who called him “unfaithful” during their time together. Diddy doesn’t want his (still) straying ways leaking out, and was trying to crawl his way out of the doghouse on Wednesday. He tweeted at Cassie: “Attention media! You know what is true though? @CassieSuper New Mixtape #ROCKABYEBABY comes out tomorrow.” What do you think? Does Diddy finally care (for once) if he loses his main thang? It sure looks that way, but who knows. If he really didn’t want to lose her wouldn’t that be enough to keep him faithful? Just sayin’.
