White Tulsa Cop Convicted Of Killing Daughter’s Black Boyfriend A white police officer from Tulsa, Oklahoma has been convicted of first-degree manslaughter, after fatally shooting his daughter’s African American boyfriend while off-duty. According to CBSnews , this is the fourth time he’s been tried for the 2014 incident, as juries in three previous trials were unable to decide whether or not to find him guilty of murder. 57-year-old Shannon Kepler was found guilty of this lesser charge for killing 19-year-old Jeremey Lake, who had recently begun Kepler’s then-18-year-old daughter, Lisa. Kepler reportedly followed his daughter to the area where she was visiting with Lake, and watched the two from a nearby parked SUV before jumping out of the car, confronting them, and killing the young man. Kepler claimed that Lake had pulled a semi automatic weapon from his pocket — for no reason at all it seems — and kept reaching for it each time he shot him. Investigators, of course, found no weapons on the scene and Lake didn’t even own a gun of any kind, much less a semi-automatic. The jury has recommended a sentence of 15 years in prison, but it will be interesting to see how much time he actually gets, if any, for this unprovoked “manslaughter.” Getty/Instagram

Trump Voter Fraud Researcher Caught With Child Porn Looks like one of Trump’s employees has been using his computer for a lot more than research. One of the researchers Trump hired to his controversial voter fraud investigation commission has been found out to be a big-time child porn enthusiast . 37-year-old Ronald Williams II was arrested on 11 counts of possession and distribution of child porn, via NYDN . Cops searched his Suitland, Maryland home last week and found multiple child porn files on his phone. He now faces 6 counts of possession and five counts of distribution of child porn. SMH. Meanwhile, the commission he works for has yet to turn up any evidence of widespread voter fraud. Texas Man Accused Of Stealing $1.2 Million Of Fajitas A sly thinking businessman was recently busted for making a major profit off the sizzling goodness of a Mexican dish. Gilberto Escamilla, a Juvenile Justice department worker in Cameron County, Texas, was recently busted for stealing over $1 million worth of fajitas after an 800-pound delivery he planned on pilfering was linked to him. “If it wasn’t so serious, you’d think it was a Saturday Night Live skit. But this is the real thing,” District Attorney Luis V. Saenz said according to The Brownsville Herald. Saenz also added that Escamilla admitted to stealing the fajitas for nine years and investigators totaled their worth at a whopping $1,251,578. He was caught after missing a scheduled delivery for a doctor’s appointment. The fajita bandit’s been arrested and charged with first-degree felony theft.

Snap chat video/NJ post Protests Cause Cop Suspension After Grabbing Twin Teens By Braids Hundreds of students walked out of a New Jersey High School in protest of a cop’s rough handling of twin classmates, according to NBC 4 NY. The altercation between the cop and the teen twin sisters were caught on video. Reportedly, Nyasia and Kyasia Sorrells said they were getting pizza on Thursday across from Orange High School when Officer Hanifah Davis tried to clear the corner. Video was spread of Davis talking to Kyasia Sorrells and then telling Nyasia Sorrells to back up. When Nyasia Sorrells approaches, Davis grabs her by the hair and both girls end up on the ground with Davis on top of them. The forces this cop is using is ridiculous. Take a close look. The school board staff member you see in the video who tried to intervene was ticketed. The twins face obstruction and resisting arrest charges; one of them also was charged with aggravated assault. Hundreds of students who attend high school with the young ladies marched to the police station Friday morning, chanting “We want justice! The protest and video evidence helped bring some justice to the situation. Democratic Orange Mayor Dwayne Warren says the office on video, Hanifah Davis ,has been suspended pending an investigation. Officials said that the officer was also facing another, routine, investigation after he drew his service weapon. SMH.
