Polling Stations Closed After California Man Goes On Shooting Spree Yet another mass shooting took place today…this time close to two polling stations in California, causing each to shut down and voters to scramble for other locations to vote at. At press time, it was unclear if the shooting was at all election related, though at least one victim was hit while on their way to cast their ballot. Via LA Times : One person was killed and two others were wounded Tuesday when an assailant armed with a military-style rifle opened fire in a residential area of Azusa, forcing authorities to secure the neighborhood and shut down nearby polling places — sending voters scrambling to find alternate locations. After a standoff at a home that lasted several hours, police announced that the gunman had been found dead in the residence. Officials said they didn’t know whether the man — who was described as heavily armed — was killed by police during a short but furious gun battle or from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. By Tuesday afternoon, Azusa police said it was too early to determine a motive. At least one victim had been on his way to vote, a law enforcement source told The Times. Sheriff’s Capt. Steven Katz said the violence was not related to the election and the location near a polling place was merely a coincidence, though he warned that all of the information was preliminary. SMH! At least we know the shooter won’t hurt anyone else. But so sad for the people who were just going about their day and hoping to vote for the candidate of their choice . KTLA-TV

The Dixie Chicks Defend Beyoncé After Their Country Music Awards Performance Remember when we told you that racists were steaming mad at the Country Music Awards for letting Beyoncé grace the stage ??? Well her fellow CMA performers The Dixie Chicks are none too pleased by the social media backlash Baddie Bey’s gotten and they’re defending her. “If we all turn this up really loud, together we can drown out the hate,” they captioned a link to the CD quality version of their Beyoncé collab. Adding fuel to the fire surrounding their performance, the Country Music Awards deleted ALL social media posts and references of Bey onstage. Why? Because of the overwhelmingly racist comments and because they “were concerned” about the Dixie Chicks’ support of the Black Lives Matter movement. TMZ reports: Sources directly connected with the CMAs tell TMZ, the honchos folded to fans who posted racist and other harsh comments. We’re told the honchos were especially concerned about the reaction to Beyonce’s support and the support of the Dixie Chicks to the Black Lives Matter movement. Some of the comments included, “That’s right folks. Beyonce performed at the CMAs last night & is on a mission to take country music away from us, hardworking white people!” And, “Beyonce overrated racist n***er bitch.” In addition to its website, the CMAs have scrubbed the women from all social media platforms. We’re told the CMA people “just want this to go away” and feel it was probably a mistake to invite the 4 women in the first place. Police Officer Who Killed Sylville Smith Fired For Sex Assault Allegations Officer Dominique Heaggan-Brown, the trigger-happy bacon boy who shot and killed Sylville Smith , no longer has a job. Not because he used questionable judgement when he killed a potentially unarmed black man, but because he is being accused of the sexual assault of a man. On August 15th, a victim reported to Milwaukee police he had been sexually assaulted by Heaggan-Brown while off-duty. An investigation, conducted by MPD’s Internal Affairs Division and Sensitive Crimes Division, resulted in the criminal complaint filed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. MPD’s investigation revealed additional allegations, resulting in added charges. The criminal complaint filed against Heaggan-Brown on October 20th indicates there were four victims in all. The incidents described in the complaint happened in December 2015, July 2016 and August 2016. In the most recent alleged crime, Heaggan-Brown apparently dropped an adult victim off at St. Joseph’s Hospital on August 15th. Heaggan-Brown told hospital workers the victim was “completely out, zonked out of his gourd.” While nurses were giving aid to the victim, the complaint indicates the victim “flipped out. ‘Help me, help me, he was touching me,’ exclaimed (the victim).” Upon investigation, police found that Heaggan-Brown had solicited male prostitutes over a dozen different times, one who had to be hospitalized over an alleged drugging. The officer will be arraigned November 4th for second degree sexual assault (two counts), prostitution (two counts), capture an intimate representation without consent.
