Travis $cott Hospitalized For Dehydration Looks like Travis $cott has been riding the wave of his latest album’s success a little TOO hard. The rapper had to cool out in the emergency room for a little while earlier today. Apparently he just didn’t stop to drink quite enough water. Via Billboard : Travis Scott was hospitalized Sunday due to dehydration, according to an Instagram post by his manager, David Stromberg. Stromberg posted a photo of Scott asleep in a hospital bed, accompanied only by the caption: “sunday.” When fans expressed concern about the MC’s condition, Stromberg replied in the comments: “he’s fine. he was just dehydrated.” Scott’s sophomore album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, was No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last week. Well, hopefully he’s alright. He seemed to just need a breather…he IS laid up in the bed with his street clothes and shoes still on. Keep those fluid levels high, Travis! Instagram

Another Celebrity Learns That Bringing Guns To Airports Isn’t A Good Idea At some point, celebrities will realize sneaking guns onto planes is an awful idea. TMZ just reported that Coolio was the latest celeb to find himself in handcuffs after he tried to sneak a loaded handgun through airport security. Apparently, someone tried to sneak the gun through in a book bag. There’s some discrepancy on who the gun belongs to, whether it’s owned by the Compton rapper or a member of his security team. Witnesses told the police the gun belonged to Coolio, but the police are still doing an investigation into the incident. (via TMZ )

In legal news… Nick Gordon Found Legally Responsible In Bobbi Kristina Brown Death Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend has been found legally responsible for her death. An Atlanta judge ruled today that since Nick Gordon failed to appear in court twice for the Brown estate’s wrongful death suit against him, he’s required to pay up. They’re asking for $50 million. PEOPLE Magazine reports: Just over a year after Bobbi Kristina Brown died at the age of 22, a judge has ruled her boyfriend Nick Gordon is civilly liable in her death, Brown’s estate attorney said Friday. Gordon failed to appear – for the second time – in Atlanta, Georgia, court Friday morning in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Brown’s estate last year, Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford said. Because Gordon has failed to appear twice, the judge said anything alleged by the plaintiff is admitted through omission. The judge will now determine the amount of damages to be awarded to Brown’s estate. Stop The Violence: Transgender Woman Dee Whigham Fatally Stabbed 119 Times

Man Charged In Murder Of Transgender Woman Dee Whigham A transgender Mississippi woman was found dead in July after authorities say a 20-year-old man stabbed her 119 times, mainly in the face. Dwayna Hickerson is now charged with killing Dee Whigham after he was seen entering a hotel room with her but leaving alone. WFLA.com reports: The transgender woman was found dead in a hotel with more than 100 stab wounds, mostly to her face. According to WLOX, Dwanya Hickerson, 20, is accused of killing 25-year-old Dee Whigham in July at a Best Western Hotel in St. Martin. Surveillance video taken at the hotel shows the two walking into a hotel room together, and 23 minutes later, Hickerson is seen leaving the room alone. An autopsy report showed that Whigham was stabbed 119 times, with most to her face and her throat had been slashed three times. Deputies say Hickerson, a soldier, stole a coach bag belonging to Whigham, as well as her cell phone and few other person items, and that his bloody clothes were found near a dumpster not far from his barracks. Hickerson was arrested on Keesler Air Force Base two days after the killing. He is charged with capital murder. Investigators are still trying to determine the relationship between the Whigham and Hickerson. This is so sad, Dee makes the 16th transperson killed this year. Stop the violence.

Simone Biles’ Drug Testing Records Leaked Russian computer hackers are coming for Simone Biles’ good gold-medal name , releasing her confidential Olympic drug testing records and exposing that she tested positive for a banned substance. However, the joke was on them, as she was PARDONED for the trace amounts of the drug found in her system due to the explanation for it. Via E!online : Russian computer hackers acquired and published documents from the World Anti-Doping Agency’s athlete database, which revealed private medical information about the gymnast as well as Serena Williams and Venus Williams—all three of which were reportedly given medical exemptions to use banned drugs. The documents show that Biles—who took home four gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics—tested positive for a banned drug on WADA’s list, though there was no misuse of drugs. The International Gymnastics Federation has declined to comment so far, but the athlete still took to Twitter herself to release a statement and reiterate that she did not do anything illegal. The World Anti-Doping Agency’s director general also released a statement, saying, “WADA deeply regrets this situation and is very conscious of the threat that it represents to athletes whose confidential information has been divulged through this criminal act.” The hackers, who go by the name Fancy Bear, warned that they planned to release the medical records of even more athletes from around the world again soon.
