African-Americans Prefer Former KKK Leader David Duke Over Donald Trump If there was ever a stat that drew a striking distinction between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump , it’s this one that is being reported by TheWrap … You know it’s bad when a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan is polling higher with African-Americans than you are. In a recent poll conducted by the University of New Orleans’ Survey Research Center, ex-Grand Wizard David Duke got the support of 14 percent of black voters in his Louisiana race for a Senate seat. In three national polls released this week, Donald Trump averaged only 2.3 percent with black voters. He did slightly better in a recent Georgia poll, where the GOP nominee received the support of about 5 percent of African-American voters. That’s a big improvement from polls done before the conventions, where Trump famously scored zero percent of support from black voters in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Terricka Cromartie Kills All Talk Of Husband Antonio Cheating After rumors hit the web this morning that Terricka Cromartie was on snapchat complaining about Antonio while she was home with the kids, BOSSIP spoke directly with Terricka Cromartie who adamantly denied any problems on the home front. “I’ve never said anything like that,” Terricka told BOSSIP. “That came from nowhere. I’ve never said anything like that on snapchat or anywhere else.” In fact, trouble in paradise is about as far from the truth of the Cromartie’s situation as you can get. “We’ve been on vacation for a week,” Terricka told BOSSIP of her family of seven (Antonio + five kids Jordynn, Jurzie, Jagger, and newborn twins Jynx and J’adore). “The only things I’ve been posting is my kids and us working out. He (Antonio) watches my snaps all the time too.” Sounds like the whole situation would be laughable if it wasn’t so damaging. Racist Message Sent To Charter Cable Subscribers’ TVs Even when we’re just minding our own damn business trying to enjoy an “Martin” re-run, we’re STILL inundated with racism. Via Fox4News Some Charter Cable customers in North Texas are furious about a profane message that appeared on their televisions through the company’s network. Charter has apologized for what happened, but some who are upset over the racially offensive message say an apology is not enough. Keisha Smith said her 14-year-old daughter was first to see the offensive message at her home. When she called Charter to complain, a company rep offered her a cash credit. “He was like, ‘For your personal account, I can give you a credit of $50,’” Smith recalled. “I was like, ‘That’s it? That’s all you are going to do to resolve this issue? A $50 credit?’” Charter has no explanation, but issued the following statement: “We are aware that an abhorrent message briefly appeared on some set top boxes. We apologize profusely to any of our customers who were subjected to it, and we are working to understand the cause.” You hear that? Our sense of dignity and safety is only worth a $50 credit. 90-Year-Old Man Arrested After Snitching On Prostitute Who Stole From Him A 90-year-old Massachusetts man was popped for soliciting a prostitute after reporting that she stole from him according to Cape Cod Times : Nicholas Salerno paid Karen Proia, 48, of Route 28 in West Dennis, $100 on June 22 to perform a sex act, according to Orleans District Court documents. He told police she used the bathroom in his house and he later noticed his necklace was missing. He reported the alleged theft to police June 30, records show. Police recovered the necklace at Bass River Coin, records state. A police officer told Salerno he also would be charged with a crime, for soliciting a prostitute, to which Salerno responded, “I don’t give a (expletive). I’m 90 years old …” according to court documents. Proia is charged with larceny and prostitution. She and Salerno pleaded not guilty at their arraignments Tuesday. Well damn!!!! Shutterstock
Kris Jenner Gets Into Car Crash In LA Kris Jenner has already smashed up her brand new luxury vehicle…and may have smashed up her arm in the process. TMZ is reporting that the Momager mogul got into a car accident on an LA highway — colliding with a Prius — and might need to be in a cast for the next few weeks. Kris Jenner was just involved in a car wreck off the 101 freeway near her home and we’re told the impact was bad enough that she may have broken her wrist. Law enforcement sources tell us Kris’ white Rolls-Royce collided with a Prius — the force of the impact deployed her airbag and absolutely destroyed the front end. A Kardashian source tells us the Prius ran a red light. A law enforcement source tells TMZ it appears Kris was driving on a surface street when the Prius cut in front of her trying to get onto the 101 and caused the collision. We’re told Kris is being treated on scene by paramedics … who we’re told did not want to remove her from the car for fear of exacerbating her injury. The Rolls is only a week old. Angel Brinks Exclusive Interview Basketball Wives LA returned with a bang this season, and the claws have already come out — just a few episodes in! We caught up with Angel Brinks to talk about what it’s like to be thrust into a group with all their existing drama, and go more in depth into her emotional episode last Sunday . This is only your second season on BBWLA, so you’re still a bit of a newbie. What was it like being thrown into this catty reality TV world? Something in the back of my mind was off, obviously, because I thought coming into it that we were going to form some kind of sisterhood. You know, we’ve all been linked to professional basketball players…I figured they know ins and outs of this world and they could teach me a few things and we’d form a bond. But once I got thrown in I was like “Hold on — this wasn’t the plan!” I’m optimistic, I thought my personality and positive attitude had the capacity to change how they’d react to me or warm them up. But but they were just so mean! Draya brought you into the group, but then abruptly left mid-season and decided not to return. Do you miss having her around to navigate interactions with all these new ladies — especially in the crazier situations? I really wanted her to stay, I thought we could have had fun together. But even though she decided coming back wasn’t right for her, she encouraged me. She tells me to see it through and just don’t quit. The other ladies, they don’t know her like I do, and she’s a really great person. Plus, she brings so much life to the show! So yes, I was sad to see her go, but I understand. To get a little more serious, you shared some dark experiences from your past on this last episode. How have you dealt with sharing info about your late husband with your son as he’s gotten old enough to understand, and how has he been processing that? When [my son] was born, I had close family with me and they told me not to worry about the future, and to instead focus on the present and enjoying my baby. Basically, we could deal with it when the time comes. Then he hit preschool, then school, then the questions started to come. He’d watch cartoons, see situations there and wonder “where’s my daddy?” And since my husband was a rapper, I’d tell him “God needed him to come and play music for the angels.” But eventually he’d wonder “Doesn’t God know I need him too?” It’s been very difficult as he’s aged. As he got older, I had my daughter and We’d travel with Tyreke [Evans], and he’d look out at the clouds and ask if this is where God lives. I’d tell him yes, and he’d get all excited, looking out the window hoping to see his Daddy. He’ll still say he wishes his Daddy was here. What got cut from the show, and the reason we really began crying together, he said “I’m happy for my sister. I look at her and I think at least she has someone that loves her.” I had to tell him, “No, we ALL love you!” It’s sad, because even though he has uncles, cousins, grandparents, all of us — but that father figure is missing in his life, and there’s a void. I’m not sure what’s harder — when fathers are in your life and leave or die or never knowing them at all. When someone passes, at least we knew them and had them in our lives. As a parent I struggle with that. It’s hard to talk about certain things with him. He plays several video games where he sees characters die then come back to life, and I think some part of him still believes that his Daddy might come back. It’s just very hard. How have fan reactions been since Sunday’s episode? I feel like what’s going on in the world is so bad with all the hate we see. So, I didn’t think I would get so much support after this episode aired. I’m so glad and truly thankful that so many people reached out to support me, and many could actually relate to what I went through and have had similar experiences. This is what I want for the show. People look at something like Basketball Wives and see “Ohh, they have fancy cars, nice homes, clothes, etc.” and even though I’m not a basketball WIFE, I share in that lifestyle as well. BUT Behind all that, there’s real life and relatable issues, we’re able to give a voice to that. I just have to thank everyone so much for all their support. So, can you give us a little preview on what’s coming up for you the rest of this season? Do you end up clashing with anyone in particular? I really wish I could tell you! Of course I can’t speak much, but I do have my five-year anniversary party for my fashion line in an upcoming episode. There were several celebs there — Floyd Mayweather came, Lil Kim. I actually wasn’t going to celebrate, but people pushed me. 5 years is a milestone in a business. BUT, what you would think would be a beautiful setting didn’t exactly turn out to be. So there are a lot of twists and turns for the show and me getting into it with some people you wouldn’t necessarily expect. There’s a lot of surprises coming up. I will say that it’s a very emotional season for me, so I’m apologizing in advance for the tears *laughs.* But this is my real life. Nice! One Woman Killed, Five Injured In London Knife Attack Europe is really going through it with these constant terror attacks. Another is currently unfolding in England, this time with a knife-wielding assailant going on a “rampage” through the streets of London. Via MailOnline : A woman has died and up to five people have been injured after a man allegedly ‘went on the rampage’ in a possible terror-related knife attack in central London. Police confirmed a man was arrested after he was seen ‘brandishing a knife’ and ‘injuring people’ in front of horrified onlookers in Russell Square last night. Fears that the knifeman operated with an accomplice were raised in the early hours as the Met refused to rule out further suspects. One witness said he saw ‘a man flee on a motorbike’. Officers arrived at the scene to find six people injured including one woman who died from her injuries a short time later. The condition of the other five is not yet known and police have not yet named or revealed the ages of the victims. One source said the suspect was seen to go ‘on the rampage’ with the weapon. The woman’s body is still believed to be on the pavement with a forensics tent covering it. Scotland Yard said: ‘Terrorism is one possibility being explored at this stage.’ The Met said the suspect was detained after being Tasered at the scene of the incident – opposite the three-star Imperial Hotel – at around 10.40pm last night. Police have cordoned off the area and there is a heavy presence of officers and paramedics. The Met said ‘additional units’ had been deployed for reassurance. SMH!! Phaedra Parks Says Racial Profiling And Ignorance Of Urban Slang Got Drama Arrested For “Bomb” Ok, now, we’ve heard white people use some pretty perforated logic in explaining their fear of black folks, but THIS is just cotdamn ridiculous! TMZ is reporting the real on exactly what happened when rapper Drama was arrested for allegedly attempting to blow up Phaedra Parks’ office with a “bomb”. Phaedra tells TMZ she considers Drama a good friend, and knew he was going to come by her office last week to drop off his new CD. The ‘Real Housewives’ star says things started going south though when Drama went to the wrong floor. According to Phaedra … Drama demanded to see her, and when the receptionist asked him to leave — because he wasn’t in Phaedra’s office — he refused, and she called security. Here’s where it really gets messy. We spoke to Drama’s mother, who says her son told the guard, “I have a bomb CD. It’s about to blow up.” She says the security guard followed up by asking if he had anything else about to blow up — and Drama replied, “I got that bomb ass CD in the car” … referring to a package full of CDs in his vehicle. According to Phaedra, Drama was racially profiled by someone in the office who saw a black man wearing a white tee and gold teeth and got SHOOK! Dram’s mother insists he was just speaking in his colloquial fashion and the ignorant person (see, white) he was speaking to just didn’t understand what he meant. The rapper was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats and his being held without bail. Phaedra is reportedly doing her best to help him out. WOW. Just f***ing wow. SMH.
