Out of pocket… Woman Pours Vodka In 7-Year-Old’s Eyes A woman vacationing in Florida is in police custody after officers say she she poured vodka in the eyes of a 7-year-old. Why??? Because they splashed her at the pool. SMH… WCN reports: A North Carolina woman was arrested on a charge of child abuse after police say she poured vodka on the eyes and head of a 7-year-old boy who had splashed water on her at a hotel pool. Clearwater police say Roseanna Marie Kiser, 23, was intoxicated and was drinking from a bottle of vodka in the pool area at the Sheraton Sand Key Hotel at 1160 Gulf Blvd. in Clearwater Beach. Several young children were swimming and playing in the pool. Kiser became angry at a 7-year-old boy because he splashed water near her. She opened her bottle of vodka and poured some of it onto the boy’s eyes and face. She then grabbed the boy around the chest and pushed him further away from her into the pool, according to an arrest affidavit. Kiser kicked a police officer in the groin with her heel when he was arresting her, according to the affidavit. Kiser was charged with child abuse and battery on a law enforcement officer. She lives in Huntersville, North Carolina. Was it really that serious??? SMH…

Black Metalhead Kids Unlocking The Truth Star In New Emotional Documentary We’ve written about these young guys before but the metal trio is now set to star in their own documentary according to Rolling Stone Magazine reports: Unlocking the Truth, a metal band composed of three African-American seventh graders, is the subject of the acclaimed documentary Breaking a Monster. The music doc follows the unlikely trio – Alec Atkins, Malcolm Brickhouse and Jarad Dawkins – that scored a $1.8 million record deal with Sony Music Entertainment . Breaking a Monster was directed by Luke Meyer, who follows the middle school metalheads around from the moment their first video went viral on YouTube. But like many young performers who stumble upon sudden success, the road to fame is fraught with uneasy demands, stress from parents and friends and tough life decisions. “Originally I was asked to make a short film about the band when they were still gaining traction as street performers,” Meyer told film website IndieWire. “The short focused on what it’s like to be young and have unrestricted dreams about who you want to be in the world. In the case of Unlocking the Truth, because they’re so talented, those dreams didn’t feel as far-reaching as they might for some other kids.” The highly-anticipated movie will be released this summer nationwide starting with a June 24 release in New York City and a July 1 release in Los Angeles.

New York Vandals Target The Gravesites Of Black War Veterans Vandals who desecrated the grave-sites of African American veterans have yet to be caught according to New York CBS Local : As CBS2’s Lou Young reported, the gravesites of veterans in the African-American section of Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye were vandalized over Memorial Day weekend. Flags were stolen and a stone was knocked over. The historic cemetery is no stranger to vandalism. There have been broken monuments and toppled tombstones before. “To have this happen to these veterans is just unconscionable,” said David Thomas of the Friends of the African-American Cemetery. American flags placed on the graves of African-Americans who served in four wars were stolen last Friday as Memorial Day approached. It happened in an old segregated burial ground – a resting place for 379 New Yorkers of color. Among them are 35 veterans of the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, and World War II. It was a careful sacrilege that in many ways was more chilling than previous intrusions at the cemetery. People ain’t isht!!!!!

‘Grim Sleeper’ Serial Killer Sentenced To Death Another serial killer has had his day in court , and it looks like he’ll be paying for his crimes with his life. The “Grim Sleeper” terrorized a poor African American community in Los Angeles, targeting low-income Black women, often drug abusers, knowing that their deaths would garner less attention and less thorough investigation by law enforcement. Now, he is set to be sentenced to death . Via MailOnline : A serial killer known as the ‘Grim Sleeper’ should be sentenced to death for murdering nine women and a teenage girl over more than two decades in South Los Angeles, a jury decided on Monday. Lonnie Franklin Jr., 63, a former city trash collector and garage attendant for Los Angeles police, was convicted of 10 counts of first-degree murder last month for crimes dating back more than 30 years. Family members of the victims cried Monday as the verdicts on punishment were read. Some rocked back and forth. One said, ‘Thank you.’ A prosecutor had asked jurors to show Franklin the same compassion he showed his victims and give him the ‘ultimate penalty.’ An emotional defense lawyer asked jurors to sentence him to life without parole to hasten the healing process for the victims’ family members. The jury called for the death penalty on all 10 murder counts and the judge set formal sentencing for August 10. Franklin said, ‘Yes, your honor,’ in regards to the date but otherwise sat quietly and stared straight ahead the entire time. As he walked into court, family members of the victims whispered, ‘Dead man walking.’ Most of the slayings fit a similar pattern. Women were either fatally shot, choked — or both — and their partly clad or naked bodies were dumped in alleys and trash bins in the impoverished area where Franklin lived. Franklin got the name “the grim sleeper” due to a 14-year gap in his crime career, causing police to be unable to connect the dots that the crimes were all related for years on end. His victims were all Black women that lived close to him in his community — including one 14-year-old girl: Franklin has actually been linked to even more murders, however the DA chose not to charge him with the extra cases because doing so would have delayed his trial by an additional six years. Wow. Considering the heinous nature of his crimes, it sounds like the jury made the best recommendation. A spot under the jail would be too good for this guy… AP/MailOnline

MMA Fighter “Kimbo Slice” Passes Away At Age 42 2016 is just claiming lives right and left . Now, MMA fighter Kimbo Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson, has passed away in a Florida hospital close to his home after briefly being taken in for evaluation under as-yet-unclear circumstances. Rumors of the fighter’s death swirled across social media for hours after Slice was admitted into the hospital with no official confirmation. Sadly the reports turned out to be factual. As TMZ confirms: Kimbo Slice has died … TMZ Sports has confirmed. He was 42. We broke the story, Slice was hospitalized early Monday near his home in Coral Springs, FL. He passed away a short time later. The CEO of Bellator MMA confirmed the news … saying, “We are all shocked and saddened by the devastating untimely loss of Kimbo Slice, a beloved member of the Bellator family.’ “One of the most popular MMA fighters ever, Kimbo was a charismatic, larger-than-life personality that transcended the sport.” “Outside of the cage he was a friendly, gentle giant and a devoted family man. His loss leaves us all with extremely heavy hearts, and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ferguson family and all of Kimbo’s friends, fans and teammates.” Details surrounding Kimbo’s death are unclear.
