Against all odds, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have been dating for over a year now. While the age gap remains more than a little creepy (Scott is 35; Sofia is 20), most folks in the couple’s inner circle have grown accustomed to the romance. But apparently, that’s not the case with Kourtney Kardashian. Scott and Sofia recently traveled to Saudi Arabia, and as they usually do when they travel to exotic locales, they posed for a number of model-y looking photos. And apparently, Kourtney was left deeply upset by the pics. “Kourtney is not happy about Sofia’s latest pics with Scott in the middle east,” a source close to the situation tells Hollywood Life. Apparently, Kourt is just like the rest of us, in that she assumed Scott and Sofia’s romance would amount to a meaningless fling. “She is surprised and shocked things between Scott and Sofia have lasted this long,” the insider says. “It still stings Kourtney to see Scott looking happy with another woman — it’s something she doesn’t think she will ever get used to.” Apparently, she sees these most recent photos as the latest salvos in an ongoing war. Last month, Kourtney posed for pics that seemed designed to make Sofia jealous by hinting that Kourt is still sleeping with Scott. The mother of three now views Sofia’s every social media post as an act of revenge. “She fights feelings of jealousy too and feels like she’s in a small, silly social media war with Sofia, posting pics back and forth with Scott,” the source claims. It seems Kourtney finds herself in a position that’s familiar to many social media users. She doesn’t want to torment herself by looking at Sofia’s page — but she also can’t seem to help herself. “Kourtney has also been trying to resist spying on Sofia’s social media,” the source claims. “She does not want to see what Sofia and Scott are up too, but Kourtney feels it is impossible to resist peeking on Sofia’s page.” But while she’s unable to resist looking at Sofia’s pics, she has been able to stick to certain boundaries: “Kourtney refuses to watch Sofia’s IG stories, that is where she draws the line,” says the source. “She fears Sofia will notice she is watching and Kourtney does not want to give her that satisfaction.” Let that be a lesson to you young folk out there — if you’re gonna stalk it’s important to take the proper precautions in order to ensure your victim isn’t aware of your desperation.
