Drake Pays Tribute To Toronto Shooting Victims On Twitter Drizzy Drake took a moment to pay tribute to the young vicitms that lost their lives during a shooting rampage in his hometown Toronto, Canada on Monday. He urged hi fans to fight against ‘senseless violence’ even though he busted Chris Brown in the mouth with a bottle last month . Drake has called for an end to violence in his native Canada after two lives were claimed in a mass shooting on Monday. A neighbourhood street party in Toronto ended in bloodshed after gunmen opened fire, killing 14-year old Shyanne Charles and Joshua Yasay, 23. Another two dozen revellers, including a toddler, were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. Drake has since taken to his Twitter.com page to pay tribute to the slain youngsters, while appealing for peace in his hometown. He writes, “My condolences go out to the family and friends of Shyanne Charles and Joshua Yasay. Senseless violence in Toronto has to stop.” Police suspect gang members were behind the rampage, and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward. Upon arriving at Oslo airport today in the country’s capital, Snoop was held by customs after a canine unit sniffed out a small amount of marijuana. Knock us over with a feather. This hasn’t happened since … January . Lucky for Snoop, Norway marijuana laws are lax; up to 15 grams is generally considered personal use and punishable by a fine of 5000 kroner ($827). So no criminal charges for the Doggfather, though he was also found to possess a large amount of cash exceeding legal limits and fined for that too. Total penalties: 52,000 kroner, or $8,600, which he paid – he was carrying massive amounts of cash after all – and then was sent on his way. Not a bad day for Norwegian customs officials or Snoop really. Customs officers who stopped him told the news outlet that he was polite throughout and they were not aware of who he was until he showed ID. Snoop Dogg, who was in Norway to perform as one of the headliners of the Hove Festival, was asked by VGTV why he was five hours late to the event. “Man, shut the f–k up,” he snapped, in big white shades emblazoned with his moniker. “I’m here… be happy I’m here and ask some real questions.” Point taken.

To take the edge off, Breezy dons a suit and tie and throws a good old fashioned smoke party with Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean for his “Till I Die” video, which he released online Wednesday night. Brown’s self-directed clip starts in a run-of-the-mill office with maze-like cubicles, boring brown corkboards and a nasty old water cooler. It’s all pretty mundane, that is until a rapping Chris pops out of nowhere, tripping the mail guy and encouraging a Sarah Palin look-alike to photo-copy her bare bottom. “A n—a gonna be faded all the way ’til the a.m.,” Brown promises as his shift ends and he takes the elevator from the 420th floor to the building’s lobby with fellow stoners Wiz and Sean. The good times continue to roll when Snoop Dogg, along with a few lucky ladies, comes to pick up his homeys in a yellow, old-school convertible. “More drink, pour it up/ More weed, roll it up,” Sean raps while Brown harmonizes “I’m high” in the background as they ride through the streets of L.A. The happy rappers eventually reach their destination, a foggy frat house with thick, billowing smoke, tons of snacks and fellow marijuana enthusiasts Method Man and Redman, who present Wiz with a golden bong. “Till I Die” was actually Khalifa’s second weed-inspired video of the day. Earlier Wednesday, the Pittsburgh spitter dropped a clip for “The Grinder,” a jazzy smoke tune from his Taylor Allderdice mixtape . Fans can catch Khalifa performing during Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards at 9 p.m. ET, introduced by none other than Charlie Sheen . For Brown, “Till I Die” is a far cry all of the other videos he’s released from his upcoming Fortune album. “Turn Up the Music,” which has amassed almost 40 million views on YouTube, is a heavy dance number, while “Strip” finds Chris in the middle of a sexy house party. The Virginia singer’s sultry love-making ode “Sweet Love” comes with a video to match, but “Till I Die” is a fun and welcomed departure from it all. Not that we condone that sort of thing. X’s EP will feature Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and serves as a teaser for his next LP, Undisputed. But like any formidable fighter, before the Dog steps back into ring for his comeback LP, he has to warm up. MTV News has learned exclusively that X will do just that in the form of a free EP called The Weigh-In. While fans will have to wait until June 26 for the Undisputed album, his 10-track EP is scheduled to drop on May 15 X . Fredwreck, Rich Kidd and Dame Grease will produce on The Weigh-In, while Snoop Dogg and Tyrese will appear as featured guests. Lil Wayne is scheduled to appear on an unspecified interlude. It’s been six years since the multiplatinum rap star dropped his last album, Year of the Dog … Again. Propelled by the Swizz Beatz-produced “We in Here” and the gospel-drenched “Lord Give Me a Sign,” Year of the Dog … Again debuted at the #2 spot on the Billboard albums chart, proving that DMX could still be a bankable rap artist. In recent years, though, it seems that X has been making headlines for everything but his music, with mounting legal trouble and numerous stints in and out of jail keeping him away from the studio. When DMX debuted back in May 1998 with his first LP, It’s Dark and Hell is Hot, he was an immovable force. His second album, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood, was released only months later in December of 1998 and cemented his rap legacy. X continued to release albums, but he would also collect a slew of charges over the years. Last July, the Dog was released from an Arizona state jail after serving eight months of a one-year sentence for probation violations.
