After a short hiatus, Kanye West is back on Twitter, talking about “mind control.”  Yeezy has taken his coon tour to Uganda , and yesterday (Oct. 13) he posted while in the African nation. In the 9-minutes clip West talked about being controlled by social media and the need to get more like. He also said he took an IQ test and that they were MENSA level. One, we need to see those IQ test results for ourselves, for fact checking purposes of course. Two, the irony that he’s complaining about social media, on social media. Three, Ye said he brought a house that he can never finish. Four, he says he tried to buy his publishing from Sony/ATV, but he couldn’t despite having the money. Five, someone please breakthrough Mr. West’s stubbornness (about taking his meds, reading, etc.) and tell him to chill, for his own sake. Also, here’s a choice quote: “I’m not worried about any type of blog or social media, y’all already saw was a lie. Social media told you that Hillary was going to win, but she didn’t win. Social media told you that people didn’t like me, but everybody loves me. Everybody loves Ye!” Umm, who’s going to tell him? You know singing other people’s song, the lesson taught in Social Media 101… Produce content people are googling or searching on youtube, then rip it off with your tits out, and the follower count will grow and grow and grow…. It’s funny to me that it’s just that easy for some people, yet other people just try so hard to make it on social media. It’s not like the big brands are that sophisticated, they’ll do anything or buy anything or throw money at anything that has a following…to get a piece of the action witout having to invest in building a audience like they used to do in the past. Disney Slammed Because Of Its ‘Eurocentric’ Version Of Princess Tiana

P rincess Tiana first made her appearance on film in 2009’s “The Princess and The Frog.” The animated character is back on screen for “Wreck It Ralph 2” and she looks distinctly different. Some have said Disney’s first Black princess looks white, which has caused backlash against the media giant. Yet again, Disney made the choice to whitewash an image that represents us. They’ve totally removed and replaced Princess Tiana’s full lips, dark skin and kinky hair. ‘Power’ Recap – Season 5, Ep. 9: There’s a Snitch Among Us

Source: Starz / Starz The father/son dynamic unfolds in curious ways, and Angela’s clock may have run out for real this time. Death, deceit and deals make the headlines in this week’s episode of   Power . The episode beings with a grizzly TV news obituary for fallen gangsta Kanan Stark, as reporters and the community try to make sense of the quadruple murder from a known felon. As Tariq watches the news, he can hear the commotion from the living room, where Tasha, Ghost and Tommy discuss how the Kanan setup unfolded. Ghost is upset that Tasha went behind his back, and put Tariq in danger. Tasha is upset that Kanan wasn’t the main target to frame from the beginning. Tommy is there to provide peanut gallery level humor and ad-libs. Tariq interrupts the quarrel to take credit for Kanan’s murder. He didn’t divulge the true danger in the plan and knew the only way out was for Kanan to die. He remains indignant towards Ghost for lying about his past, and reiterates that he’s a real g now, a school won’t change him, and Ghost needs to put him on to game or get out of the way. Needless to say, Ghost didn’t oblige. Tariq ends up ditching school to meet with Vincent, accept condolences for Kanan’s death, and continue the drug business on a trail basis. Vincent agrees, and also puts Tariq in contact with a good fake ID connect who supplies Tariq with a new identity “Erick Stark” so he can pickup Kanan’s ashes from the police.
