Miley Cyrus wants her fans to know something: it’s not you. It’s me. The superstar is taking another break from Twitter, though she isn’t going to the extreme lengths she went to in 2009 and axing her account . So, what’s going on? Why the relative silence since sending out the Halloween photo below? “Sorry I havent been tweeting as much!” Cyrus wrote on Friday. “I deleted the twitter ap off of my phone. Just taking some “ME” time! =] love yall.” Miley has suffered through a love/hate relationship with the social network over the years, once telling followers she would no longer be using it because boyfriend Liam Hemsworth made the request. But then she returned, explaining: “I’m not gonna lie. I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow @charliesheen #winning.” The latest move actually seems symbolic of Miley’s new maturity, though. It’s a healthy sign when someone realizes that not every thought and emotion is meant to be shared with the world . Yes, Kim Kardashian , even if this means you make a few million less each year.
‘Spinning Gold’ follows life of label co-founder Neil Bogart. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Timberlake He once played Napster co-founder Sean Parker in “The Social Network,” and now he’s getting ready to play another real-life entrepreneur. Deadline Hollywood reports that Justin Timberlake will play ’70s record producer and Casablanca Records co-founder Neil Bogart in a new biopic. “Spinning Gold” will take a close look at Bogart’s career as a record executive who launched the careers of acts like KISS, Parliament, Donna Summer and the Village People. “This is saga about a young dreamer who started with nothing and came of age in the ’60s and ’70s, believing anything was possible and every risk was worth taking,” said Tim Bogart, Neil’s son and the film’s writer. He said the film is “literally three decades in the making.” Bogart died of cancer in 1982, at the age of 39. Bogart added, “We needed a young actor who can carry this picture. … When Justin walked into the room, that was the moment I had been waiting for 29 years. He has the exact same energy as my father, the same glimmer in his eye.” A director has yet to be attached to the project, which is set to shoot in 2012. Album plans are also under way. Fans hoping Timberlake will head back to the studio to record new music will be sad to see his film roster keeps getting filled with new projects. In November, his sci-fi flick, “In Time,” hits theaters. “To be honest, my plan would have probably been to do another record, probably right about now. I never stop considering myself a musician. To me, it’s my bread and butter,” Timberlake said in a recent interview with Short List. “And I mean that in a personal way. I don’t mean that it finances my ‘acting hobbies.’ I joke with my friends that I should have a business card saying, ‘David Fincher put me in a movie,’ because ‘Bad Teacher’ got a blessing due to ‘The Social Network,’ and then ‘Friends With Benefits’ came out of that. “All the movies I’ve done were just opportunities that came up, but now that they’re all coming out back-to-back, people think, ‘Oh, he’s trying to make a statement by having an acting career,’ ” he continued. “But it’s not like that for me. I don’t ever want to stop doing music.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Jesse Eisenberg’s performance in 30 Minutes or Less is like a mirror of something you’ve seen before in a movie you’ve seen before: As an unambiguously unambitious pizza-delivery guy who’s forced to rob a bank, is he riffling through the deck and pulling out the same old cards, perhaps in a slightly different order? Or is he adding subtle variations to a type of character he’s played many times previously, biding his time until he can get another role like the perfectly calibrated one he played in The Social Network ?

Let’s reinspect nine moments in the evolution of Justin Timberlake.

Abracadabra! Variety reports that Jesse Eisenberg has agreed in principle to star in Now You See Me , a “magician-heist” thriller from Clash of the Titans director Louis Leterrier. Jake Gyllenhaal and Melanie Laurent are reportedly in talks for the film as well. What this means for Eisenberg’s rumored reunion with Noah Baumbach remains to be seen, though perhaps the Social Network star has some time expanding tricks up his sleeve. (Groan!) [ Variety ]
Although it pains him, actor chooses between Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to take home the Golden Popcorn. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Eric Ditzian Jackson Rathbone Photo: MTV News Having a hard time trying to figure out who you’d like to win at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ? “Breaking Dawn” star Jackson Rathbone is weighing in on his picks for Sunday’s big show, and he’s sticking with his Cullen brother Robert Pattinson to win it all. Rathbone is even staunchly Team Edward when it comes to Best Kiss, in which Kristen Stewart is up for getting it on with Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. “How do you decide which is the better kiss: Kris’ kiss with Rob or Kris’ kiss with [Lautner’s] Jacob? Taylor or Rob I guess is what it breaks down to,” he told MTV News earlier this week. “I’m gonna have to side with my brother and go with Rob there.” Rathbone even dove into why Bella and Edward’s kiss really resonated with him. “What is it about that kiss?” he pondered. “You know, to me, it was … a long time coming [and] that understanding between two lovers, and I think there’s a lot of pent-up sexual aggression there, being young and a vampire.” Not only does Rathbone have to pick between Pattinson and Lautner for Best Kiss; the pair are also splitting votes for Best Male Performance, going up against Daniel Radcliffe (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1”), Jesse Eisenberg (“The Social Network”) and Zac Efron (“Charlie St. Cloud”). Of course, those three guys don’t even count for Rathbone — it’s all about his “Eclipse” buds. “Best Male Performance? Rob or Taylor, once again this boils down to [them],” he said. “I love both guys … but I’m gonna have to once again side with my family and go Robert Pattinson.” Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ?
