Black Cincinnati Cop Airs Out Fellow White Officers For Violence Against Black Men The folks in Cincinnati know all too well about how police abuse their authority to do violence against black bodies. Last year, we mourned the death of Sam Dubose, an unarmed black man who was shot in the head by Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing. Tensing has since been charged with murder, but in the wake of the recent violence in Baton Rouge and Minnesota, one officer isn’t keeping his mouth shut about his white colleagues. Via Cincinnati The Cincinnati Police Department is reviewing a Facebook post by a black officer that referenced white officers “looking for a reason to kill a black man.” Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac said in a Thursday statement the post is being reviewed under the department’s “social media procedure and our rules and regulations.” The Facebook post, first reported by Fox19-WXIX TV, was made on an unknown date earlier this month, apparently after black men were killed by police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota. In response, the Chief Issac had this to say: “The Cincinnati Police Department strives to maintain a culture of professionalism, as well as transparency and accountability for our actions. I am proud of the work of the men and women of the Cincinnati Police Department and our efforts to work collaboratively with the community,” Isaac wrote. “We are aware of a recent post to a commonly used social media site by one of our officers that refers to an interpretation of a law enforcement officer’s actions. The comments that were posted are under review as they relate to our Social Media procedure and our Rules and Regulations.” Sadly, we won’t be surprised to hear that this brotha has been suspended, fired, or worse. That said, we applaud his bravery for speaking out and we hope more cops follow right behind him. We need “good” police to help keep black people from being shot down like dogs in the street. I woke up with a morning election. Here’s the biggest thing that’s ever happened to the Colbert Report as Letterman… Obviously, I watched the RNC, not because I am American or can vote, but because I am a citizen of the fucking world and seeing a reality show muppet talk total nonsense as idiots cheer on – is serious comedy, satire, a joke…in what should be the most serious of venues. I watched the speech – he said nothing – he didn’t even make sense, he wasn’t even charming, he was just making sounds in weird voices – with an occasional dismissive “USA USA USA” and an occasional “Believe It”…it is a fucking joke. I love when the ignorant idiots on my social media say “get back to tits” as if all I do is tits, but they have the mental capacity that can only see tits, so I get how trump got into this. The TV and He has told me he’s a billionaire over and over again, he’d be a President…but we all know at our core that he only ran as a joke, a publicity stunt, and it went way further than expected, which played to his ego – all while he is laughing at all of you….and now he’s in over his head and committed to the troll, which as a troll, is the ultimate and only impressive thing about the campaign….that’s not to say Trump is a comedian or trying to be funny or even realizes he is trolling, he was obviously driven by ego and narcissism to get started on this, it was all marketing himself in the beginning, not a joke but rather self promotion and thanks to weak contenders got this far….he doesn’t actually care about making America Great…but he’ll keep saying it over and over so people on an emotional level believe…. I am not American but I have a brain, eyes and ears and I know when people are lying, when they are pandering to basic people by saying what they want to hear… I also looked up the MURDER rate of the last 30 years which is down, so making America Safe in an era where it is statistically its safest, by putting a lot of attention to crime like sensationalized media does for ratings…is just manipulation tactics…and if you don’t see that, you just want to believe so bad that the root of your problems is illegals who help your economy and Big Business manufacturing overseas – which has everything to do with BIG BUSINESS making those decisions to rape you of your money. It’s not trade deals….they made those trade deals to make higher margins and cheaper manufacturing….. Hard to believe, but it’s been 16 years since Michael Phelps put the swimming world on notice – and became a household name. Becoming the youngest male to make the U.S. Olympic team in nearly 7 decades, the Baltimore Bullet quickly became a legend. This year, he will compete in his fifth Olympic games, and needless to say, a lot has changed in his life in the years since he first hit the global stage. In February of last year, Phelps got engaged to Nicole Johnson . In May, Phelps welcomed his first child , a boy named Boomer. Needless to say, he’s come a long way since the brash, occasionally trouble-prone young man we met so many years ago. And now, there are rumors that Phelps, still only 31, may have recently passed another milestone in his personal life. You may have seen the headlines pop up in your social media feed: Something along the lines of ” Is Michael Phelps Married ?” Well, as it happens, that question mark is there for a reason. Because, as far as anyone knows, Phelps and Johnson did not get hitched in a quickie pre-Rio ceremony, as some folks are claiming. We imagine the couple will walk down the aisle shortly after the games, but thus far, they have yet to announce any specific plans. And why rush things at this point? They already have a baby together, and despite global health concerns, Phelps is going to the Olympics, not war. They may as well wait, and hopefully Phelps will come home with some new hardware to wear to the ceremony. Just kidding; there’s no way the guy could walk with all the medals he’s won around his neck at this point. So our premature congrats go out to Michael and Nicole! All these two have to do now is steer clear of those Brazilian mosquitoes and put past mistakes behind them. Sorry, Taylor Lianne Chandler . We couldn’t resist.
