The endless drama surrounding the wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has overshadowed the fallout from the infamous Jay Z-Solange Knowles fight from earlier this month. But for Jay and Beyonce, the memory of that ugly incident lives on and, it may have something to do with why the power couple opted not to attend the Kimye nuptials. Beyonce and Jay Z Skip Kimye Wedding Some reports state that designer Rachel Roy provoked Solange at the 2014 MET Gala, leading her to assault Jay Z at the end of the night. Rumors about what exactly Roy did to spark the incident vary, with some saying she was flirting with Jay and others claiming that Solange and Roy had an ugly argument and Solange was simply upset that her brother-in-law didn’t come to her defense. In any event, Roy was in attendance at the Kimye wedding and may have been the reason that Jay and Bey decided to stay home. “Jay and Beyonce were invited but didn’t come,” says a source close to Kim and Kanye. “Seemingly to avoid drama with Rachel Roy.” While they didn’t make the trip to Florence for the ceremony, ‘Yonce and Hova did send their well wishes via Instagram, with a post that read, “Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. The Knowles-Carter family is working overtime to put their issues to bed . Beyoncé And Jay Z Visit Solange In New Orleans Over the weekend Beyoncé and hubby Hov took a trip to New Orleans to see sister Solo and of course made sure to document their experience: Solange still has that little glimmer in her eye that lets you know she is “OFF” According to TMZ reports : Beyonce and Solange’s reunion in New Orleans really was a family affair … TMZ has learned Jay Z also joined in on the fun. Bey, Solo and Hova all hit up New Orleans hot spot Cafe Amelie for more than 2 hours Saturday … according to multiple sources — and the fam came with a MASSIVE security detail and 3 black SUV’s waiting nearby. We’re told a team of bodyguards waited outside making sure no one could get a clear shot of the threesome hanging out. The person who snapped this pic says when it came time to leave, Jay and Beyonce darted in separate directions to the car … forcing the photog to choose one. The queen won. Since Bey’s wearing the same dress … looks like that Instagram with Solange was taken during this lunch We’re glad they worked it out, riiiiight?

Jay Z and Solange Knowles have officially addressed the infamous fight that broke out in an elevator May 5, then nearly broke the Internet a week later. Solange, the younger sister of Jay’s wife Beyonce, and the rapper/mogul say in a joint statement that both parties are to blame for the violence episode: Solange Knowles-Jay Z Fight: Full Video Jay Z, Solange, and Beyonce released the statement moments ago, saying, “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred.” “They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. Cats, man. Cats are the Internet’s best friend. Not only do they heroically save kids from attack dogs , they do crazy entertaining things like chase their own tails, get stuck in weird places, and  see sounds . (We’re pretty sure that when that happens in humans it’s a sign of head injury so FYI.) When this cat’s person decided to play her stereo loudly, the cat was totally stymied by the sounds coming from the speakers, namely the bass that it just couldn’t catch.  But it tried. While the Jay Z-Solange Knowles fight may not have been funny for the parties involved, the rest of us are finding plenty of comedy in the drama. The Internet has already blessed us with a slew of hilarious Solange-themed memes , and now some ingenious Madison Avenue Don Draper-types are getting in on the act. That’s an ad for the Anya Hindmarch clutch bag Solange brought to the 2014 MET Gala…and later used as a weapon with which to bludgeon her brother-in-law. Certainly seems the brand has found a silver lining in Solange’s dark cloud of rage! The ad is funny stuff, to be sure, but we’re guessing Solange is less than amused: Solange Knowles Tantrum Check out the video above for a little insight into how the younger Knowles feels about her far more successful older sis and her husband. Beyonce Posts NEW Instagram Photos with Solange: Is It All Good?

Beyonce is yet to speak out on sister Solange attacking husband Jay Z back on May 5. But the singer did make quite the statement on Instagram today. Simply writing “Good Morning” as her caption, Queen Bey posted a pair of photos online: one of her and Solange striking a silly pose in a field somewhere; and the other of these famous sisters in the back of a truck, This move, of course, comes on the heels of the opposite one from Solange: In the wake of her Jay Z assault going viral, Solange deleted all pictures of Beyonce from her Instagram page. But it does appear as if this family has moved on from the violent incident. Solange and Jay Z were spotted shopping in New York City together Tuesday afternoon, with an onlooker saying the pair looked calm and quiet. “This is not the first time this has happened,” a source tells Us Weekly of the blow-up. “That’s why Bey and Jay were so calm. According to a People sources, Knowles was “provoked” by designer Rachel Roy earlier that evening, with Beyonce stepping in to tell Roy “not to talk to her sister.” Jay remained silent during that initial confrontation. Solange Knowles Assaults Jay Z: The Full Video

TMZ has released the full surveillance video of  Solange Knowles’ attacking Jay Z in the elevator of the Standard Hotel in New York City. As previously reported, the assault took place on the way to a MET Gala after-party on May 5. Beyonce and Jay Z walked the red carpet of that event in good spirits, posing for photographers along the way and even faking a proposal after Beyonce dropped a ring. But some thing clearly took place soon afterwards… something that led to Bey’s sister Solange Knowles brutally going after her brother-in-law: Solange Knowles-Jay Z Fight: Full Video Punching him, kicking him and needing to be physically restrained by a bodyguard, Solange was irate at Hov for reasons unknown. Watch the video above to see Solange even smack Jay Z with her purse at one point, spilling the contents all over the floor. Following this surprising and chaotic incident, Beyonce and Solange exited the building and got into a separate car from Jay. Later on, Beyonce posted a cryptic Tweet about God and relationships . That’s great … but what the heck led to this outburst from Solange? The singer does have a history of erratic behavior. She canceled her European tour last summer amid rumors of drug use.
