Ellen Degeneres Gives Waitress $10,000 For Paying For Soldiers’ Lunch Via People A New Hampshire waitress who picked up the lunch tab of two National Guard soldiers affected by the federal government’s shutdown has been repaid – more than 300 times over – by television star Ellen DeGeneres. Sarah Hoidahl, a waitress in Concord, N.H., just wanted to do a nice thing for the soldiers, so she paid for their lunch. It cost her $27.75. On Friday, DeGeneres squared the tab and then some, giving Hoidahl $27.75 in cash and a check for $10,000. An emotional Hoidahl buried her face in her hands and thanked DeGeneres as the talk show host repeated, “You’re a good person.” DeGeneres caught wind of Hoidahl’s act of kindness when the New Hampshire National Guard posted a picture on its Facebook page. The story spread quickly online, producers saw it and invited Hoidahl to Hollywood. Ellen also gave her a 50-inch television. Oh look it’s like reliving the glory days of Spring Breakers only Vanessa Hudgens was smart enough to hide her fat ass and bring her ugly face, hot bodied friend along, who didn’t get the part in the movie, felt left out cuz she has a hotter body than all four of the bitches who were recruited for it, until seeing the movie and realizing it was the fucking worst…. Only this time with more mocking of the Soldiers on Memorial Day….little entitled twats who never fought for your country, salute like they did, in their cushy homes by the pool, like it is some kind of joke, I’d be offended if I actually cared that they are doing this, I just had nothing else to say about these girls and this pic….I mean I’m a grown man, why am I posting this shit anyway?

There’s a new TV spot for Iron Man 3 out, and it drops a few new tantalizing images and hints. The clip begins with the Mandarin ( Ben Kingsley ) channeling Richard Nixon with some “My fellow Americans” shtick before proclaiming that “my soldiers will destroy your country.” Among the scenes that accompany the Mandarin’s dire voiceover are shots of those shirtless men in metal harnesses that have been featured in previous trailers, which suggests they’re the army the Mandarin is referencing. Just a few seconds later, though, we get a glimpse of a couple of evil-looking human dudes with red eyeballs who look like they were borrowed from the Terminator franchise. My guess is the red eyes have something to do with Extremis. The video also includes more footage of the Iron Army and Tony Stark ( Robert Downey Jr. ) playing smart-ass. At one point, he wields two machine guns Say-Hello-to-My-Little-Friends style . Tony Stark as Scarface’ s Tony Montana? I like it. The full clip is below.
