Mommy To Be Bangers: Kelly Rowland Puts Her Bare Bump On Blast For ELLE Magazine

Kelly’s got that good ole gut full glow ! Kelly Rowland Poses Nude For ELLE Magazine Kelly Rowland recently posed nude for ELLE magazine and showed off her bare baby bump. The mother to be of a baby boy also gushed to the mag about motherhood and explained why she chose fine azz actor/photographer Lance Gross  to direct her shoot. ELLE.com reports: What kind of celebrity mom will you be? Would you take your son to award shows or fashion shows? I just plan to play it by ear. Everybody has their normal. And sometimes, award shows are a part of that. I have girlfriends who have that experience, and they’ll say ‘You know, I just really didn’t want to be without my child today.’ And it’s just that simple. It’s about finding your normal, whatever that may be. Tell us about your photo shoot with Lance Gross. What was the experience like? What was your vision for the shoot? I had a chance to work with Lance Gross during a video shoot for the [“Here I Am”] album, and I remember looking at his Instagram page, and seeing all these crazy hot photos. I texted him, and he said he’s really been into [photography]. So we had been planning for a year to shoot and of course, I got pregnant and thought I’ll have Lance shoot the photos for my pregnancy. Lance and I had all these great ideas and we just put our heads together to execute the looks. It was a lot of fun. Some pregnant women get flack for nude photos. Why was it important to you to include those in the shoot? I don’t know why they would get flack. It’s really—I won’t say amazing—it’s Godmazing [laughs] watching your body carry a human. I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate that? The body should be celebrated. Doesn’t she look gorgeous?! Check out more photos from Kelly’s ELLE magazine spread below. Lance Gross/ELLE

Race Matters: Black NFL Ref Requested Not To Officiate Any Redskins’ Games Due To Their Disrespectful And Offensive Name

This guy really earned his stripes ! First Black Referee To Work Superbowl Reveals He Asked Not To Work Redskins Games Mike Carey took a stand against racism in the NFL by silently protesting for years in his refusal to work for an organization he felt was being hateful with their stubborn resolve to keep a Native American slur as their team name. According to Washington Post reports via NY Daily News: Mike Carey, who officiated games for 24 years before retiring in 2013, told the Washington Post that he told the NFL he didn’t want to work the Redskins’ home or away games because of their disrespectful nickname. “Human beings take social stances,” Carey, the first African-American referee to work a Super Bowl, told the Post. “And if you’re respectful of all human beings, you have to decide what you’re going to do and why you’re going to do it. “In America we’ve learned that respect is the most important thing that you have. I learned it from my parents, my schools, from my faith. And when you learn there’s something that might not be as respectful as you like, when you come to terms with it, you have to do something about it.” “I know that if a team had a derogatory name for African-Americans, I would help those who helped extinguish that name. I have quite a few friends who are Native Americans. And even if I didn’t have Native American friends, the name of the team is disrespectful.” The NFL apparently had no problem with his request, as the Washington Post research showed that Carey didn’t work a Redskins game after Week 1 of the 2006 season. “The league respectfully honored my request not to officiate Washington,” he said. “When they were making assignments, I said I’d like to be excluded from those assignments.” Carey added he never talked to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about the matter, instead going through the league office. Seriously we all can learn something from this example. All these people who compromise their values on the daily because it’s “part of the job” need to know it’s entirely possible to stand up for your beliefs and still be an exemplary employee. APImages

High-Fashion Preciousness: Norweezy Strikes A Pose In Chanel For CR Fall Fashion Book

Kris Jenner is putting this little one to work early! North West Models For Carine Roitfeld Lookbook In Chanel Mama Kim And Papa ‘Ye are well-known to be all about style, labels, and luxury, so it’s no wonder that they’re already grooming North to be a mini-fashionista as well. She’s already appeared in Vogue and has a wardrobe more expensive than college tuition at only 14 months old…so of course it’s only right that she add her first professional haute-couture modeling credit to the mix. North was actually spotted with Carine Roitfeld , former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief and organizer of the lookbook a couple of months back, but who had any clue they were already lining up her debut into the world of high-fashion? Peep the adorable ad: Via Telegraph : North West, the baby daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, made her fashion magazine debut alongside her parents in US Vogue earlier this year. But now that she’s reached the ripe old age of 13 months, little North is going solo in the latest issue of influential French editor Carine Roitfeld’s magazine, CR Fashion Book. Pictured by Michael Avedon (the grandson of the late, great photographer Richard Avedon), little North is just one of many to be included in a spread entitled Legends, which serves to celebrates unconventional style icons. Sporting Chanel cashmere and a minuscule, studded bag by the brand, which looks to be around the same size of her calf, no detail was spared by former Vogue Paris editor Madame Roitfeld when styling the little tot. Her lobes are adorned with pearl earrings (a favourite of Coco Chanel’s) and a camellia brooch – Coco’s favourite flower. To bring the portrait full circle, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld bestowed the accompanying quote: “It’s never too early to care about fashion!” And as North’s reality TV star mother only knows too well, it’s also never too early to start with a little exposure here and there. Nice! We are positive her fashion-obsessed father (and attention-obsessed mother) are proud!

ChitChatter: TDE Tendoroni SZA Confirms That Her Freckles And Marvelous Mane Are ‘Fake’

“I wear clip ins …” SZA Confirms That Her Trademark Hair And Freckles Are Enhanced Top Dawg Entertainment’s golden girl SZA has been coming under fire as as of late from folks who SWEAR that her head full of curls and signature freckles are far from God-given. With that in mind the Cali songstress responded to the controversy via a Tumblr fan who asked her if the inquiries bothered her. Via IAmSZA : You know the only thing about the nonsense bothers me ? … These are black people .. MY people … These are the ONLY ppl attacking me . They embarrass themselves and they embarrass me for that reason alone . I’ve said so any times in interviews an right here on Tumblr that I wear clip ins and the occasional weave to protect my hair from photo shoots and heat styling ect it’s fun and it makes my hair grow like wildfire and actually I suggested that others do the same ! This takes nothing away from me or my beauty because it’s just a part of my real life and I will never apologize for that ….I’m a black woman that proudly grows hair it’s just my personal genetics and I like to protect it . She then addressed the questions about her freckles that she says sometimes get covered up with makeup. I have to ignore what people say about my freckles because I get go home and see my father and my granny who created me every day with a face full of them lol it’s absurd and almost laughable at this point . When I put real heavy makeup on (concealer powder foundation ect) my regular freckles get covered all the time so I go over them and depending on my mood I play around with them it’s MY face lol . if I’m gonna have freckles I might as well get to mess around with them a bit! it’s crazy fun! Its like art expression for me! The fact that people find this of negative interest is bizarre . I think instead it’s the feeling of possibly getting under someone elses skin and that gives a lost person a false sense of power that they NEED to avoid holding up a mirror . perhaps they think it’s “exposing” or putting something out there but I’ve never tried to hide it !   Oh and for all those people who think she runs with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, School Boy Q and Ab Soul because she’s sleeping with them she offers this…. I’m in TDE ONLY because I am talented .. My work speaks on that end . as for anything else my partner whom I love very much finds any conversation of me sleeping with my teammates (with whom he’s friends with ) kinda far fetched and ridiculous lol . I’ve posted so many intimate photos of my family my parents their religion and my life and it’s unfortunate that sometimes ppl make me regret that . I could give a s*** about random “speculations” behind a computer screen . I only want my music and my energy to speak LOUDLY in the REAL WORLD. I’d shave my head and laser off my whole face tomorrow and still go make the same music and speak the same words ….it’s just about what really matters to some folks but regardless I’ve made peace. How? because IM STILL GOING TO BE SZA and there’s still going to be thousands of people like you that are positive that outweigh the few negative.     Clip ins or not Sza’s hair (and face) is BANGIN. Black Weather Woman Fired For Defending Her Nappy Natural Short Afro Gets New Job With WeatherNation

Congrats !!! Black Weather Woman Fired For Defending Natural Hair Gets New Job Via The Grio reports: Rhonda Lee, a meteorologist thrust into the national spotlight in 2012 after she was fired from a TV station for responding to a viewer’s racist remarks about her Afro, has a new gig. The Vane reports that Lee announced Friday that she’s been hired as meteorologist by WeatherNation. Lee was fired from the KTBS-TV, an ABC affiliate in Shreveport, La., during the winter holiday season in 2012, she told Journal-isms at the time, because she responded to a racial remark posted by a viewer, Emmitt Vacocu, on October 1 on the station’s Facebook page. He wrote, “the black lady that does the news is a very nice lady.the only thing is she needs to wear a wig or grow some more hair. im not sure if she is a cancer patient.” Lee responded the same day: “Hello Emmitt–I am the ‘black lady’ to which you are referring. I’m sorry you don’t like my ethnic hair. And no I don’t have cancer. I’m a non-smoking, 5’3, 121 lbs, 25 mile a week running, 37.5 year old woman, and I’m in perfectly healthy physical condition. “I am very proud of my African-American ancestry which includes my hair. For your edification: traditionally our hair doesn’t grow downward. It grows upward. Many Black women use strong straightening agents in order to achieve a more European grade of hair and that is their choice. However in my case I don’t find it necessary. I’m very proud of who I am and the standard of beauty I display. Women come in all shapes, sizes, nationalities, and levels of beauty. Showing little girls that being comfortable in the skin and HAIR God gave me is my contribution to society. Little girls (and boys for that matter) need to see that what you look like isn’t a reason to not achieve their goals. “Conforming to one standard isn’t what being American is about and I hope you can embrace that. “Thank you for your comment and have a great weekend and thank for watching.” Welcome back, Rhonda!
