BOSSIP Exclusive… Cast Of “Life Of The Party” Talks New Film” Melissa McCarthy was truly the “life of the party” this week during the world premiere screening of her film in Auburn, Alabama. “Life Of The Party” stars the funny woman as middle-aged mom Deanna whose midlife crisis turns into college matriculation coincidentally at exactly the same time and EXACT SAME COLLEGE as her daughter Maddie. (Molly Gordon) The slapstick comedy directed by McCarthy’s husband Ben Falcone also stars Maya Rudolph as Melissa’s braggadocious (constant husband humping) BFF, “Modern Family’s” Julie Bowen, Matt Walsh and actor Stephen Root who told BOSSIP that the undeniable “life of the party” on set was Melissa McCarthy herself. Lil Yachty Performs During “Spotify Fans First” Last Thursday Spotify hosted one of their Spotify Fans First event in ATL with Lil Yachty for a select group of fans. These events give artists a chance to connect with their Day-1 supporters. Celebrating the release of his second album, Lil Boat 2 , he performed several new songs for this intimate crowd. With a mostly teenaged, diverse audience the energy that Lil’ Yachty gives is undeniable. This had to be one of the most lit shows we’ve been to with a dynamic audience. With his water theme, the stage had real water with visuals of rain and waves. Yachty even gave his fans water bottles to wet the crowd up. Micheal Brown, a senior at Lamar High School, got accepted into the likes of Harvard, Yale, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern, Stanford and Georgetown as well as others like Pomona College and the University of Michigan. The New York Times spoke with his mother Berthinia Rutledge-Brown who couldn’t be prouder of her son’s achievements. “I cried because I realized that there was a chance that my child would get the education he deserves — the one I could not afford to pay for,” she said. “He actually earned it,” said Ms. Rutledge-Brown, a drug counselor. “I always knew Mike would get into a good school. I always knew he’d get good scholarship support. But I never imagined this.” Micheal has a 4.68-grade point average, an SAT score of 1540 out of 1600 and an ACT score of 34 out of 36. In addition to the full rides, he also has $260,000 in outside scholarships. We see you, king! Congrats on your achievements!
