Our man BlogXilla caught up with the young artists at Radio One’s Blitz showcase in New York City to talk about how they’re adjusting to viral fame. They explain the inspiration for their unique name and what it was like to hear their song on the radio for the first time: “Anytime you hear anything on the radio of yours, it’s insane. But that song came so last minute. We wasn’t even supposed to be on the album. To know that’s the song that’s taking off and gaining traction on the radio, it’s kind of crazy. What if we didn’t decide to make it at that last minute.” And what about that unusual name? “It started off pretty innocently, it was the name of one of the beats for our song ‘Back It Up.’ We just kind of liked it, it’s very different, it kind of stands out when you see it,” THEY. said. “And it’s taken on a bigger meaning. We’ve been hearing report after report about Kim Kardashian’s mystery surrogate pretty much all summer long. And goodness, what a fun time it has been. We’ve heard that the surrogate is pregnant, and that she’ll be giving birth to Kim and Kanye’s third child sometime in January. We’ve even heard that the next Kimye baby will be another girl . Thanks to the latest report about this woman carrying the next spawn of Kimye , we even know that she’s in her twenties, and she’s a mother to two of her own children. And while many of these reports have come from credible sources, neither Kim nor Kanye have personally discussed the matter. Or at least they hadn’t! Kim is currently in New York for Fashion Week, and while she was at an event, she decided to confront the rumors for the first time. “I’ve definitely seen a lot of things, we’ve never confirmed anything,” she told E! News. “So, I think when we’re ready to talk about it we will, and I think it’s super invasive when people are just … So many details out there, and like I’ve never heard this, I’ve never heard this.” “Like, whatever,” she added. “We have not confirmed it, and that’s that. I’ll let you know when we’re ready.” Even though Kim repeats that they haven’t confirmed the story yet, her statement is actually a confirmation all on its own, right? After all, she says that all the reports have been “super invasive,” which is kind of fair, but why would she say that if the reports were completely made up? Also, she closes the matter by saying “I’ll let you know when we’re ready,” which sounds to us like something is going on, but she’s not ready to open up about it yet. We know that Kim was desperate to get pregnant with her and Kanye’s third child, but it simply wasn’t able to happen — or it was seriously unsafe — thanks to all the health problems that have come with her pregnancies . In earlier episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she’s also admitted how scary it would be for her to trust someone else with something as precious as her baby. So maybe this is kind of a tough situation for her, you know? That would make sense. Maybe she wants to be 100% sure that things are going well, and that her surrogate won’t cause any issues before acknowledging the situation. Sometimes Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are so cute they make you want to vomit, you know? But like, in a good way. As for the title of the song, he suggests all the different roles the couple could take — “You name the babies,” he sings, “and I’ll name the dogs.” So this is a song about his love for this woman, a love so deep that he wants to marry her and have children with her . It’s got to be about Gwen, right?! If you still have your doubts, then just pair the lyrics with the video, which, by the way, features appearances by Gwen’s actual children. We've known for quite some time that the final two seasons of Game of Thrones would be truncated affairs, but still, we can't help feeling that the show's seventh season finale is upon us far too soon. Fewer episodes has meant a faster pace, which – though fun in some cases – has resulted in some pretty glaring inconsistencies in others. (Based on travel times, Westeros is now apparently the size of Providence, Rhode Island.) Fortunately, the show is in a position to deliver its most explosive season finale to date, which should help placate fans who are feeling slighted.
