It wasn’t quite a royal affair, but it came pretty close as Pippa Middleton and James Matthews tied the knot in London on Saturday, May 20. Yes, six years after she became the world’s most famous bridesmaid , wedding bells finally rang for the world’s most famous royal-in law. And it was certainly a sight to behold. Pippa looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown, a lovely lace affair with a high neck and a cutout in the back. It’s a custom dress, of course, by Giles Deacon, and she couldn’t possibly look more beautiful. She also looked ridiculously happy to be marrying her now-husband, so that’s nice, too. Pippa and James had their ceremony in St. Mark’s Church in Englefield this morning, and while, as we said, Pippa isn’t technically royalty, you wouldn’t believe it by the guest list. Her sister, Kate Middleton, was there with Prince William, and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were in the bridal party. As painfully adorable as it may be to hear, George served as a page boy while Charlotte acted as one of Pippa’s bridesmaids. They also entered the church with Kate in what may be the cutest photos to come from this wedding. Prince Harry was in attendance also, but as of now, there’s no Meghan Markle in sight. It’s rumored that while she wasn’t invited to the actual wedding ceremony, she’ll be able to attend the reception and all the festivities that will last throughout the day. According to UK publications, it’s one of those unspoken rules that royals are strongly discouraged from upstaging big events like these, and if Meghan had showed on Pippa’s special day, well … We’re sure it wouldn’t be pretty. Pippa, 35, turned heads across the land with her svelte figure at Kate Middleton’s wedding to Prince William , becoming a global sensation. “Her Royal Hotness” or “Lord of the Arsetocracy” as some have dubbed her, waited a long time to find The One for her, but it was worth it. James Matthews, a handsome and wealthy banker, or financier as it were, has now been crowned Mr. Pippa Middleton for all eternity. What a lucky, lucky man.
Farrah Abraham … well, goodness knows she tries. She tries to be eloquent, she tries to be thoughtful, she tries to communicate in a way that makes sense. She just always, always fails . When we see Farrah on Teen Mom OG, she has such trouble expressing herself, and she often misunderstands what other people try to tell her. When we see her do interviews, she really strives to be intelligent and insightful, but that’s just not who she is. That’s not in her skill set . It’s a rare occasion that we have to see something she’s actually written — as you can imagine, that’s an especially tragic experience. And unfortunately, it’s an experience we’re facing today. See, Farrah has been working hard on building up a business for her daughter, Sophia. She’s getting her into acting and modeling, and she recently opened up a children’s boutique for her to “run.” Right now, she’s getting the website for the store up and running, and in doing that, she wrote a nice little thing called “Our Story” for the About section. Well, she tried to make it nice. It didn’t really turn out that way. And that’s because, as it turns out, the girl just is not capable of writing. At all. Farrah’s story begins with “Sophia Laurent is the owner of this celebrity children’s boutique, at age 7 Sophia loves to shop and create for exclusives and awesome toys, clothing and accessories for boys and girls from new born to 12.” It’s not great, but hey, at least we know what she’s trying to say, right? “Sophia was born on MTV Network and her shows continue to be on the network in many other countries Poland, Canada, United Kingdom’s, Africa and much more,” Farrah continues. And that’s where it all falls apart. For one, Africa is not a country. For two, “United Kingdom’s” … United Kingdom’s what? Did she mean to name countries in the United Kingdom? Does she think there are multiple United Kingdoms, and she just got confused with how to make it plural? Oh, honey . She goes on to write “Sophia Laurent believes in every child has a voice and sky is the limit for any child any age and we hope to make every child whom walks in our store feel special like a king or queen.” Right, right. Things are similarly awful for the rest of the story, until Farrah gets to the end, when she … you really just have to see this madness for yourself. “Sophia’s biggest fan her mother Farrah Abraham top female celebrity in our nation continues to grow the inventory, customer service and success of the children’s boutiques plan of expansion. Atrocious grammar aside, does Farrah sincerely believe that she is the “top female celebrity in our nation”? Forget all the huge movie stars, like Meryl Streep, Sandra Bullock, and Julia Roberts, or newer, immensely popular actresses like Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone. Don’t even think about naming any beloved singers like Taylor Swift or Beyonce. No, the top female celebrity in our nation is for sure, beyond the shadow of a doubt, Farrah Abraham. Katy Perry shocked and delighted us all when she released “Swish Swish,” a fun little song with Nicki Minaj. The song itself is OK, but the real joy comes from the lyrics, which really and truly seem to be about Taylor Swift . The legendary Katy vs. Taylor feud has been going on for years now, all because Taylor thought Katy betrayed her by stealing some backup dancers. Taylor's made several passive aggressive statements about Katy, and she even released a song about her, the super catchy but super petty “Bad Blood.” And now, two years lately, it seems like Katy's responded with “Swish Swish.” You can listen to the song, take in the lyrics and make your own decision about what it's possibly about, but Katy made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, and she was directly asked about the rumor. “'Swish Swish,'” Jimmy began, “is that about anyone we know?” Katy took a moment to gather her thoughts, then responded with “I think it's a great anthem for people to use whenever someone's trying to hold you down or bully you.” Which, it seems, is a good, neutral answer that works better than something like “Yeah, this song is about Taylor Swift, that bitch.” Of course she can't come right out and directly diss Taylor like that, but notice that she definitely doesn't deny that ti's about her. Oh, what a beautiful day for some shade! And also, as it turns out, it’s a beautiful day to hear Katy Perry just rip the hell out of Taylor Swift. Katy Perry – “Swish Swish” See, Katy released a brand new song called “Swish Swish” last night, featuring Nicki Minaj, and many, many people believe that it’s about Taylor. This is for many reasons. One, Katy and Taylor have been in a feud for years now after Katy made a business deal that rubbed Taylor the wrong way. As the story goes, Taylor was on tour with some backup dancers who’d previously worked for Katy, and when Katy went on her tour, those dancers left Taylor to work for her. Taylor began making passive aggressive digs at Katy in the press, and she even went as far as writing “Bad Blood,” her own impressive Perry slam song . So it just makes sense that, with her new album, Katy would take some time to hit back at her. Two, Katy was directly asked in an interview last week if she’d have a song about Taylor on her new album, and she said that “There is no one thing that’s calling out any one person.” However, she added “One thing to note is: You can’t mistake kindness for weakness and don’t come for me. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone.” “And that’s not to any one person and don’t quote me that it is, because it’s not. It’s not about that.” But if it’s not about any one person, Katy, why would you say it in response to a question about Taylor Swift? She went on to say that “Everything has a reaction or a consequence so don’t forget about that, OK, honey,” so we can only assume that this new song is Taylor’s consequence. Three … well, just listen to the thing. In the first verse, Katy sings “A tiger don’t lose no sleep, don’t need opinions from a shellfish or a sheep,” which could be a direct reference to that time she called Taylor “the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.” She also sings “Don’t come for me,” which is exactly what she said in that interview quote that was supposedly not about any one person. The name of the song, “Swish, Swish,” could be a play on Taylor’s last name, but in the chorus, Katy sings “Swish, swish, bish, another one in the basket. Can’t touch this. Another one in the casket.” And really, the whole thing just keeps getting juicier when you get to to Nicki’s verse — remember, Nicki had her own spat with Taylor a couple of years ago. Nicki was upset that her music video for “Anaconda” didn’t get nominated for the Video of the Year MTV VMA, and she wrote something on social media about how women with slim bodies are the only ones who get nominated for videos like hers. Taylor thought she was talking about her and addressed it, but she’d misunderstood Nicki — and she honestly ended up looking a little foolish. She apologized, Nicki accepted it, but now it seems like things aren’t as good between them as they seemed. In the song, Nicki raps “Don’t be tryna double back, I already despise you. All that fake love you showin’ couldn’t even disguise you.” She finishes with “I only f-ck with queens, so I’m makin’ hits with Katy.” Harsh, right? And so, so amazing. But, understandably, Taylor’s people don’t agree. Ruby Rose, one of Swift’s best squad members, took to Twitter right after the song was released, writing “‘Purposeful poop’ to ‘bomb a petit’ to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda..stop trying to make ‘Wit..I mean ‘fetch’ happen.” “I just think with everything going on in the world to go from rebranding as political activist only to ditch it and go low.. is.. a bummer,” she added. Hilariously, Ruby also tweeted “Not gonna lie Nicki is great on it and basically the only part that doesn’t sound a mess.” “I’ve always stood up for the people I love and against things I think are cheap or mean spirited,” she finished. “That’s not new. I try not to pay too much attention to Katy Perry ‘s music, unless it somehow involves her busting her funbags out for a performance . But I guess she must have a new single out or something, because I just saw her new video for “Bon Appetit.” And as far as I can tell, the song is about her getting groped by a bunch of chefs and then turning into a stripper?
