This is pretty disgusting. A couple hooked on bath salts allowed strangers to sexually abuse their daughters , aged 5-16, for money they used to support their drug habit! Via NY Daily News reports : A Tennessee husband and wife rented out their four daughters as sex performers in videos, authorities said. Ronnie Lee McCall, 61, and Connie McCall, 40, face federal sex crime charges in a case a local prosecutor described as one of the “worst” cases he’d seen in 20 years, WATE reported. The couple, strung out on so-called bath salts, forced the girls, ages 5 to 16, to perform sexual acts with paying adults who filmed them, court documents allege. Investigators busted the McCalls after finding the girls living in disgusting conditions inside a Johnson City trailer. Investigators said the 6-year-old had rotten teeth, flea bites, ringworm and lice. “The amount of tooth decay, you can imagine, was extremely painful,” Johnson City police Investigator Debbie Dunn told WATE. “She had black teeth, and holes in all the teeth, just really inexcusable.” The girls’ home was squalid — “just filth and extremely deplorable,” Dunn said. An investigation revealed even more horrors. The parents took the girls around town, dealing them to creepy customers, according to court documents. The case went federal when authorities learned the couple had taken one girl across state lines into South Carolina for a black market film. The girl was sexually abused and filmed by a man who later committed suicide, Washington County District Attorney Tony Clark told WCYB. Ronnie McCall pleaded not guilty Friday, and his wife is due in court Wednesday. Clark said he’s seen the terrors endured by some children, but what the McCalls did to their girls was something worse. The children are reportedly recovering in the care of child protective services. SMH. This just makes us sick to our stomachs… These junkies deserve to be treated to the worst kind of prison hospitality. Our prayers are with those girls, they will have a lot of trauma to overcome. We’re pretty sure this ain’t the kinda secret Victoria was keeping. According to NYPost reports : A woman, who was caught shoplifting with an accomplice at a Herald Square Victoria’s Secret Thursday, was carrying a fetus in a shopping bag, police sources said. The unidentified women were lurking around the lingerie store on West 34th Street and Broadway around 1:30 p.m., when a security guard spotted them snatching undergarments off the racks, sources said. The guard stopped the women and called police to the store. It wasn’t until the cops were cuffing the thieves that they made the grisly discovery – one of the women was walking around with a fetus in a shopping bag. That woman told police that she had a miscarriage, a source said. It was unclear how old the stillborn was. The woman carrying the remains of the baby was taken to Bellevue Hospital while the other woman was taken to the precinct for questioning, sources said. Charges against the women are pending. This is just nasty. We understand grieving a miscarriage but some folks just take ish too far. And why did ganking undergarments become a priority over seeking some health care or counseling? Cory Booker, the charismatic mayor of Newark, is now a member of the U.S. Senate from New Jersey after winning a special election on Wednesday. The Democrat, heavily favored in polls, defeated conservative Republican Steve Lonegan. Booker had an 11-point lead with the vote 90 percent counted. Booker, 44, spoke to supporters in Newark and thanked them for turning out to vote against the backdrop of the 16-day government shutdown . “You didn’t just vote, you believed that your vote and choice mattered,” he said. “It would have been easy to listen to this frustrating negativity and stay home.” “But here in New Jersey, more than a million people rejected cynicism and came out on a Wednesday, in the middle of October, to fight the cynicism.” Booker is the first black U.S. Senator from New Jersey and joins Republican Tim Scott of South Carolina as the nation’s only two black U.S. senators. He will fill the U.S. Senate seat held by Democrat Frank Lautenberg, who died in June at age 89. Booker had planned to run for this seat in 2014. Lautenberg’s passing prompted a special election, however, and Gov. Chris Christie, who is running for re-election now, set the October 16 date. Christie, like Booker a possible White House contender in 2016 or down the road, could have scheduled the Senate race for Election Day, November 5. Democrats said was avoiding being on the ballot with Booker, who could attract Democratic turnout. He said he wanted to fill the Senate vacancy ASAP. Booker, a Rhodes scholar and Yale Law School graduate, rocketed to fame in the state’s largest city, which has long struggled with poverty and crime. Booker is known to rub shoulders with celebrities and is a near-constant presence on Twitter, where he recently befriended stripper Lynsie Lee . Newark received a $100 million gift to its schools from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who said he had met Booker and was impressed by his plans. A bachelor, Booker has long been rumored as a future presidential candidate. Whether that happens or not, he’s one step closer to it being possible now.

The college football season just got underway this week. But it’s unfortunately already over for the University of Georgia, at least according to one distraught fan. He called in to a local radio show yesterday, the morning after his beloved Bulldogs fell to the Clemson Tigers… and simply could not be consoled. “Our whole season’s gone, man,” the fan cried on air. “How we gonna go face South Carolina now?!?” It’s a good question, especially considering the defensive force that is S.C.’s Jadeveon Clowney. The fan who interrupted the All-Star Game because Twitter told him to? That story I can believe. But this story about Nike t-shirts ? Well it’s a little bit harder to imagine someone letting this by. Notice something a bit “off” about this Carolina Panthers t-shirt? There’s the NC and Panthers logos, it’s blue and black… but wait, isn’t that the outline of South Carolina? As a matter of fact it is! Someone was obviously sleeping on the job when it came to this shirt. A couple of people actually. First the person who made it, then the person that approved it, you’d have to imagine more than one person checks these things, whoever saw them packaged, the store owners/stockers who opened the boxes, and then finally the people who bought the incorrect t-shirt. I really hope the Panthers fans who bought the shirts did so in jest because surely they would recognize that it was their neighboring state right? Well done Nike! You may have failed sixth grade geography, but you succeeded in making us laugh.

The Gay Community Continues Gaining As Minority Community Continues Losing Although the gay community gained a huge win with the overturning of Proposition 8 last week, there was also another issue that was heavily overlooked in the media and is set to heavily impact the voting rights of minority U.S. citizens. Bloomberg News The U.S. Supreme Court ended its blockbuster civil-rights term pointing in opposite directions: cutting legal protections for racial minorities even as it bolstered them for gays. Decisions requiring tougher court scrutiny of affirmative action and striking down much of the landmark 1965 Voting Rights Act were still fresh yesterday when the court cleared the way for gay marriage in California and invalidated a federal law that denied benefits to married same-sex couples. Only 24 hours earlier, minority-rights advocates were denouncing the court’s conservative majority for gutting the Voting Rights Act, the law that opened the polls to millions of blacks across the South. The court voted 5-4 to nullify the requirement that all or parts of 15 states get federal clearance before changing their election rules or voting lines. Obama called that ruling “a mistake” because suppression of minority voting still exists in some regions of the country. He said he wanted to work with Congress in a non-partisan way to address the defects cited by the top court. The decision “frighteningly opens the door for underhanded schemes to reduce the electoral power of minority communities,” said Representative James Clyburn of South Carolina, the No. 3 Democratic leader and highest-ranking black member of the House. Surprise, surprise. Another day, another underhanded jab at the livelihoods of minorities delivered by the Republican-majority Congress. Continue reading
