No one questioned whether the rapper fake cried at any point during his speech to accept the Video Vanguard Award. But Kanye did stand for many moments (after being introduced by Taylor Swift !) in order to soak in the staring ovation that came his way on Sunday night. West kicked off his speech by saying “Bro. Bro!” before explaining how having a daughter with Kim Kardashian has changed him. “I will die for the art, for the art I believe in, and the art ain't always gonna be polite,” West went on to say, adding: “I know y'all might be thinking, 'Did he smoke something before he came out here? And the answer is yes, I did roll a little something.” Kanye then dropped the Donald Trump-esque bombshell: “I have decided in 2020 to run for president.” Is he serious? In her upcoming memoir Bulletproof , Teen Mom O.G. star Maci Bookout says she got plenty of fame, but no fortune from her MTV stardom. Caitlyn Jenner was honored at the 2015 ESPY Awards on Wednesday night. The transgender star gave a moving speech in which she urged listeners to accept others for who they are, joking (or not) that she's never felt more “pressure” in her life than she did while choosing her awards show outfit. This movement is “not just about one person; it's about thousands of people,” Caitlin said on stage. “It's not just about me. It's about all of us accepting one another. We're all different. That's not a bad thing. It's a good thing. “And while it may not be easy to get past the things you always don't understand, I want to prove that it is absolutely possible, if we only do it together.” Jenner has received nothing but praise for the speech, though she told ABC's Robin Roberts afterward that it was quite the challenge to get through. It “wasn’t easy,” Caitlyin said, eyes watering. “It’s great to be in a position where myself and my family have been so supportive of what is happening. “You know, my kids are great. Donovan McNabb Arrested For DUI Former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb got popped for yet another DUI over the weekend. Via ESPN : Former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb has been arrested in Arizona on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol for the second time in 18 months, according to police documents released Tuesday. Police in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert said McNabb was cited and released from a police facility after being arrested June 28 following a non-injury collision late that night. McNabb, 38, told officers he had just left a sports bar and was driving to his Phoenix-area home. A police report stated McNabb’s vehicle rear-ended a car driven by the wife of a Gila River tribal police officer and McNabb appeared to be impaired. “While Donovan spoke, I noticed a strong, fruity odor on his breath. I noticed Donovan’s eyes were watery and very bloodshot and his speech was slurred,” a Gilbert officer wrote in his report. The officer said he asked McNabb how much alcohol he had to drink. “Nothing,” McNabb said, according to the police report, adding that he had a cold and was taking a cough syrup and eating two cough drops. The officer made McNabb spit out the cough drops and gave him a battery of tests, noting six signs of impairment. McNabb “was not able to stand without visibly swaying back and forth and side to side in a rotational pattern,” the report said. Police said a blood sample was sent to the Mesa Police Crime Lab for analysis. The results haven’t been released. SMH! Sounds like it may be time for McNabb to seek some help.

Obama was half-way through delivering an address about civil rights for lesbian, gay and transsexual Americans at a reception in the presidential mansion Wednesday night when he was interrupted by one of his guests. Jennicet Gutiérrez, a transsexual Mexican woman and campaigner, started yelling at him to close deportation centers until she was escorted out by security. According to the woman who invited Gutiérrez as her plus-one, the heckle was a pre-planned stunt to raise awareness. Gutiérrez shouted out that she was an undocumented immigrant and a trans woman and was ‘tired of the abuse’ she claims immigration officials are carrying out on minorities. Obama tried to ask her to stop, but turned sour when she wouldn’t stop shouting. He said: ‘Hold on a second I – OK, you know what? No no no no no. You’re in my house.’ SMH. Apple Announces New Music Streaming Service Is Apple’s music streaming service about to blow Jay Z’s highly criticized Tidal out of the water? Apple announced their (rather late) entry into the streaming/radio game at WWDC 2015, with help from Drake and The Weeknd . Via SPIN : Apple’s Worldwide Developers’ Conference began today in San Francisco, and as expected the keynote speech involved the big unveiling of their new music streaming service, Apple Music. Much like TIDAL’s recent launch, the speech emphasized the benefits of the service for artists trumpeting how it will “provides all artists, even the kids in their bedrooms, a way to engage with their audience.”According to reports from Gizmodo, Apple Music will feature all of the iTunes, available to buy or stream, as well as a new 24-hour radio station called Beats 1, which will count ex-BBC icon Zane Lowe and Hot 97’s Ebro Darden, among others. Fresh off his Governors Ball appearance, Drake stopped by to introduce another feature of the service called “Connect,” which allows artists to upload songs, videos, and photos to their own page on the site. “The dream of being a new artist like myself five years ago and connecting directly with the audience has never been more real,” he said. Drake didn’t offer a performance of any sort, but his old pal the Weeknd stopped by at the end of his keynote to debut “I Can’t Feel My Face.” The service will reportedly cost $9.99 a month, after three free months, and family plans for up to six users will be available for $14.99. But even if you don’t pay for the service, you’ll still be able to use it to “follow your favorite artists” and listen to Beats 1. More details will undoubtedly surface soon, as Apple Music is set for release by the end of this month. A source told Radar Online, “He told them to move her as far away as possible, and he was “adamant that he wanted his wife nowhere near NeNe.” The contention between Leakes and Williams escalated after Leakes mocked Williams’ “10 rules every women should live by” speech. Leakes, never one to shy away from the spotlight or from passive-aggressive comments, went on stage and said, “I’m your homegirl — I live my life as an open book, and I’m happy I don’t need 10 rules to live by!” Maybe this is why Nene has no friends . Veteran TV producer Jill Blackstone is under investigation stemming from the death of her sister, Wendy Blackstone, last weekend, according to police. At first, Wendy appeared to have died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning from a gas grill, but police believe the death scene may have been staged. Jill Blackstone is under investigation based a number of factors … Paramedics found Wendy Blackstone on the floor of the garage of the home where she and Jill lived. There was a grill in the garage, and ash in the grill. Wendy Blackstone, who was deaf and partially blind, was holding a handwritten suicide note … which the police strongly believe was written by Jill. The grill’s unusual placement at Wendy’s feet contributed to the investigators’ suspicion that it was a murder, and not suicide, that they had encountered. Jill was arrested for murder, but released last night after D.A. sent the case back to the police for further investigation. So she’s not out of the woods yet. She told paramedics she also passed out, but regained consciousness enough to ask a friend for help. That friend called 911 out of concern for Jill. The friend believed had suffered a stroke because her speech was slurred, and Jill had to be hospitalized for two days with carbon monoxide poisoning. She was arrested after her release Monday, then cut loose Wednesday. Wendy’s cause of death has yet to be released, pending toxicology results.
