Via People : Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross, his girlfriend of two years, are expecting a baby early next year, the star’s rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. Already a father of eight kids, Gibson, 60, is thrilled to add to his brood. “Mel and Rose are so excited about the baby,” says a friend close to the couple. “Mel loves being a dad and he and Rose can’t wait to be parents together. Kris Jenner Gets Into Car Crash In LA Kris Jenner has already smashed up her brand new luxury vehicle…and may have smashed up her arm in the process. TMZ is reporting that the Momager mogul got into a car accident on an LA highway — colliding with a Prius — and might need to be in a cast for the next few weeks. Kris Jenner was just involved in a car wreck off the 101 freeway near her home and we’re told the impact was bad enough that she may have broken her wrist. Law enforcement sources tell us Kris’ white Rolls-Royce collided with a Prius — the force of the impact deployed her airbag and absolutely destroyed the front end. A Kardashian source tells us the Prius ran a red light. A law enforcement source tells TMZ it appears Kris was driving on a surface street when the Prius cut in front of her trying to get onto the 101 and caused the collision. We’re told Kris is being treated on scene by paramedics … who we’re told did not want to remove her from the car for fear of exacerbating her injury. The Rolls is only a week old. Lil Kim Cancels Essence Fest Appearance Bad news for Queen Bee fans descending on New Orleans this weekend. Essence Festival is already underway and multiple artists have already hit the stage for day one…but one hotly anticipated face won’t be appearing on stage this weekend as planned. Lil Kim has had to pull out of the festivities at the 11th hour, for vague reasons. As Kim’s people shared with People Mag : Lil’ Kim was scheduled to take the stage at this weekend’s Essence Festival, Essence magazine’s annual music and entertainment event held in New Orleans, but her rep issued a statement Friday, announcing the rapper would not be joining Puff Daddy and fellow Bad Boy Records alums on stage due to “unfulfilled business obligations.” “I was looking forward to it,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively of getting to perform for fans at Essence Fest. “I’m so disappointed and sad about that.” In the statement her rep said, “She’s saddened by the news but matters are not within her control.” Man, that sucks for whoever got tickets to see Kim! Lil Wayne Released From Hospital Wayne had quite a health scare the other day as his plane made two emergency landings for two separate seizures he had while onboard the aircraft. Now, after a day or so under doctor supervision in a Nebraska hospital, Wayne feels like it’s business as usual. He’s left town and is off to make his scheduled appearances like nothing ever happened. Via TMZ : Lil Wayne is back on the road, and not slowing down at all … after getting treated for the seizures he suffered on board his private jet. Our Weezy sources tell us he checked out of the Omaha hospital on Tuesday and immediately made a beeline out of town — despite having made 2 emergency landings on Monday when the seizures started. We’re told Wayne is not cancelling any shows — his next one is scheduled for Saturday in Kansas City. As we told you … Wayne was seen double-cupping a lot of codeine syrup Sunday night in Milwaukee. It’s unclear if his latest seizures were brought on by lean — like they were 3 years ago — but, for now, Wayne doesn’t seem worried. Well, even if it is lean-related, we assume making an observation that he might want to cool it on all of that would fall on deaf ears. In the year since she went public with her story, she’s been showered with awards, accolades, magazine covers , and speaking engagements to shine a light on the struggles of people born inside of bodies in which they feel they don’t belong. But now, a biographer who’s been tracking the Kardashian-Jenner clan closely says she might be ready to hang it up and go back to being a man after the year she’s had… Via The Wrap : Caitlyn Jenner, who announced her transition from man to woman last year, has considered de-transitioning, the author of a new book about the Kardashian family told TheWrap on Wednesday. Ian Halperin, the author of “Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America’s Royal Family,” said that, while researching his book, multiple sources told him that the former Olympian had been miserable for months and has considered transitioning back to a man. “One source confirmed to me Caitlyn has made whispers of ‘sex change regret,’ hinting she might go back to being Bruce Jenner,” Halperin said. Halperin said that one long-time friend told him that, while Jenner was “thrilled” to champion transgender issues, the reality TV personality could de-transition “in the next couple years.” “It hasn’t been easy for Caitlyn, it’s been very hard,” the friend said, according to Halperin. “She’s thrilled she has raised awareness about how transgender people have long been discriminated against but I think there’s a chance she’ll de-transition in the next couple years. I don’t think it would surprise anybody in her inner circle. It has been much harder than she anticipated. My heart goes out to her and I know her true friends will be there to support her on whatever path she chooses.” According to Halperin, multiple sources close to the Kardashian family told him that Jenner might revert back because she retains her interest in females. “She’s still into women and wants to meet the right one,” Halperin recalled one friend saying.
