I have opinions of how lame or terrifying and uninteresting something like Burning man is to me…it’s the worst sort of nightmare..being in the desert camping with a bunch fucking rich assholes trying to find spirituality half naked….a creative hub for rich people who lack creativity or vision…an excuse to do psychedelics…just a sci/fi movie I want nothing to do with….. But I am sure people have fun, people who go talk about it all the time, I’m more into being in the desert alone than with 20,000 rich people and instagram sluts. Colin Kaepernick’s Collusion Case Against NFL Goes Forward

The arbitrator in the matter ruled in favor of the free agent quarterback after all 32 teams in the league failed to support why they should receive a summary judgment against Kaepernick and thus taking the case to be heard before a judge. Sports Illustrated reports : The technical reason for Burbank’s ruling is that the NFL and its teams failed to convince Burbank, a law professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, that they had met the necessary standard for summary judgment. Under Article 17 of the CBA, Burbank would have granted summary judgment if Kaepernick hadn’t shown enough evidence sufficient to raise a genuine issue of material fact. The “genuine issue” is whether the 30-year-old Kaepernick has been victimized by collusion, which in this context refers to two or more teams, or the league and at least one team, conspiring to deprive Kaepernick of his collectively bargained right to sign with a team. Kaepernick, who earlier in his career led the 49ers to a division championship and a Super Bowl appearance, contends that teams have conspired to keep him out of the NFL. They have allegedly done so on account of the controversy surrounding his kneeling during the playing of the national anthem. A key element of Kaepernick’s argument is that owners are fearful about the capacity and the willingness of President Donald Trump—an ardent critic of Kaepernick and of other players who kneel during the anthem—to damage the league’s business and legal interests. Such a concern was documented in audio recordings of owners during an October 2017 meeting that centered on Kaepernick and the national anthem. This same concern resurfaced in June 2018 when Trump rescinded a White House invitation to the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on account of his perception that Eagles players disagreed with him on the anthem (in reality, not one player on the Eagles kneeled during their Super Bowl season). The outlet adds that if Burbank can prove 14 or more teams categorically denied Kaepernick an opportunity to play, the NFL’s player union can band together and call for an end to the current collective bargaining agreement. — Photo: WENN

Reports TMZ : The NFL Hall of Famer appeared on “The JT The Brick Show” on Fox Sports Radio and since he’s met with so many Presidents in the past, he was asked how he felt about Trump. “I should be criticizing Trump on every level because he does certain things that call for criticism but when I look at television I see all these announcers become experts and they’re pointing the fingers and they’re not doing a doggone thing but pointing their fingers, I find myself really pulling for the president.” “Now, that would make me very unpopular in the black community, very unpopular with a lot of Americans … but I think that there are certain good things that are coming out of this Presidency because we’ve never seen anything like it.” He added, “I mean there’s confusion. A lot of people are retiring. Nun Fires Perfect First Pitch Strike, Leaves Internet in Awe

It's official. In case there was any doubt before, all debate has now been put to rest: Sister Mary Jo Sobieck of Marian Catholic High School in Chicago is a better pitcher than 50 Cent. As proven in THIS CLIP , the rapper is on record as having thrown the worst first pitch in Major League Baseball history. So, in that sense, the perfect strike tossed by Sister Mary in the video featured here did not have a high bar to clear in order to be placed higher than 50 Cent's attempt many years ago. But this awe-inspiring nun didn't just head out to the mound on Saturday and barely manage to get the baseball over the plate. No. First, she did a little trick with the ball in her hand and then she threw what can just be described as an ideal 12-6 curveball, one that would have fooled even Aaron Judge or Mike Trout. It floated right down into the catcher's mitt in the heart of the strike zone when all was said, done and applauded. Sister Mary was called upon to make this ceremonial first pitch in Chicago, prior to yet another White Sox loss. They fell to the Royals by a score of 3-1 after the nun left the mound. With a record of 45-77, it's pretty clear the White Sox could use Mary Jo Sobieck on their roster. Maybe not as a starter. Her arm might lack the stamina to go six or seven innings. But as a late-inning reliever? Someone to come in for a batter or two and disrupt the opposing team's rhythm? Someone ordained by God, no less?!? Sign her up, Sox!
