June Shannon is making her way back to TV screens across the country in a brand new series. The former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star will take center stage in a new reality TV series on WeTV that will chronicle her attempts to improve her look. “I’m a Mama, a Grandmama, and a big reality star—and now I’m ready for a big change,” Mama June tells us in a new promo. “It’s time to say goodbye to bad men and junk food,” Mama June says. “Say hello to a whole new me, because when they see what I look like now, they’re not going to believe their eyes!” On a recent episode of Botched , Shannon revealed that she had already lost 150 pounds by changing her lifestyle. Now, we're all for people being the best versions of themselves, but is another reality show really what Mama June needs? As you probably already know, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled after four seasons due to June allegedly dating a man who spent time in prison for molesting her daughter. The man in question, Mark Anthony McDaniel, Sr., was convicted of aggravated child molestation of an 8-year-old in March 2004. Aside from the change in Shannon's body, few other details are known about the show. One of the reasons it took so long for her to make her way back to TV was because she was still under contract with TLC… even though they refused to air the final episodes of the series. Well, Sessions is a Republican senator from Alabama who President-elect Donald Trump has picked as his candidate for Attorney General. On Thursday, just as the Internet was coming to grips with Selena and The Weeknd going on a hot and heavy date that allegedly ended with them in Gomez’s bed, the singer posed for a picture in nothing but her underwear. It was a very good look for her, we must admit. Now, as shared above, the artist is fully clothed and not staring into any mirrors. Barack Obama paid moving tribute to his family last night. Addressing the country for one final time as President of the United States, Obama detailed his many accomplishments over the years, emphasized the need for citizens to be actively involved in their democracy… … and then caused us all to reach for our tissues. “Michelle – Michelle LaVaughn Robinson, girl of the Southside, for the past 25 years, you’ve been not only my wife and mother of my children, but my best friend,” the President said, staring at his wife in the front row of Chicago’s McCormick Place convention center. Eventually unable to hold back his own tears, Obama continued: “You took on a role you didn’t ask for and made it your own with grace and grit and style and good humor. You made the White House a place that belongs to everybody. And a new generation sets its sights higher because it has you as a role model. “You’ve made me proud. You’ve made the country proud.” Obama went on to refer to Vice President Joe Biden as a “brother,” thanking the long-time politician for his friendship and his guidance over the years. The former View co-host, who has helped anchor New Year’s Eve coverage on various programs for seven years, used her SiriusXM show on Tuesday to lay into the legendary singer. McCarthy called Carey out for what most viewers agree was the single worst New Year’s Eve performance in the history of December 31. Actually on hand in Times Square for the embarrassing event, McCarthy took listened behind the scenes a bit as she relayed her reaction to Mariah’s nationally-televised fail. “Mouths are hanging open. Everyone is shocked. We only gave you a shortened version of that. We had to go through another song of her walking around,” McCarthy said on air today. She added: “It was so bad, and then for a moment I said, ‘Take a step back, Jenny, and try to find some empathy right now.’ And I did. All of a sudden I felt really bad for her, because it was that bad. It was a complete train wreck.” Did you catch the performance? It featured Carey having problems with her audio. She was on stage, messing around with her ear piece, clearly confused and unsure what to do. “We’re missing some of the vocals, but it is what it is … I’m gonna let the audience sing. Kim Kardashian returned to social media in the most spectacular fashion. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star hit up Instagram after three full months of hiding in the aftermath of her being held at gunpoint in Paris . Her return to the spotlight was inevitable, but it’s surprising it took her so long to return to social media. That’s probably the place the Kardashian klan makes the bulk of their money. But what did Kim post on Instagram? The reality TV star opted to ditch a naked selfie in favor showing off her family in a beautiful picture that was simply captioned “family.” There’s no denying that Kim has had a rough few months in the aftermath of her being robbed and Kanye West’s health problems. That’s probably why she’s allegedly steering clear of Rob Kardashian and Blacy Chyna. There’s only so much drama one person can take and it seems like Kim has had her fair share of it. On a more ominous note, Kim did make some updates to her Twitter account earlier today. She omitted “Kardashian West” and left her name as “Kim.” This sent the rumor mill into overdrive as the internet debated whether Kim had finally left Kanye, but these rumors were quickly quashed when Kim’s Twitter profile reverted back to her old name. Perhaps it was a ruse to get the internet talking in preparation for her big Instagram return. Now, it remains to be seen if Kim will be returning to the spotlight on a more permanent basis, or if she is merely letting the world know that she’s okay. There was much speculation that Kim was not doing so well after having a gun waved at her in Paris. She has every right to not be doing well.
