You’ve heard it from your parents. You’ve seen billboards urging against it. Heck, there’s even a Justin Bieber PSA about it. Do not text and drive. But what about texting and walking? On a street in suburban California? While a bear is also wondering the same street? Apparently someone forgot to tell the guy in the following video to also avoid taking this action. See what happened when he did so: Texting Man Nearly Walks Into Bear Seriously, people, Stephen Colbert has been warning us for years: we must be careful of bears! Sometimes they steal golf balls . Other times they take a dip in your family pool . And still other times, they break into your kitchen and search for a snack in the freezer . Be on guard, folks. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. 21 Animals Acting as Adorable Parents 1. Otter-ly Adorable Shhh… be very quiet. This otter is fast asleep in his mother’s arms.
Embattled actor Stephen Collins and his estranged wife Faye Grant have finalized their divorce, allowing them to avoid a public, contentious trial. The couple decided the terms this week. The settlement includes a 50/50 split of the sale of their pricey Brentwood homes but no spousal support for either. Neither Collins nor Grant are working right now, according to court papers filed on Friday, though Collins collected over $46,000 in residuals for 2014. The divorce has been ugly, to say the absolute least. Collins’ attorney argued that Grant lost her right to a financial settlement when she recorded her husband in a therapy session without his knowledge. Grant has denied that she leaked the tape, in which Stephen Collins admits to child molestation in one of the biggest celebrity scandals of 2014. Collins later spoke out about the tape, confirming it. 15 Celebrity Scandals That Rocked 2014 1. Stephen Collins Admits to Molesting Children Stephen Collins gained fame for playing the Reverend Eric Camden on wholesome family series 7th Heaven. In real life, Collins has been accused of molesting several children, and has confessed to at least one sexual assault. “Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since,” the actor said of abusing underage girls . He says he has sought help, and feels tremendous guilt. Calling himself a flawed person, he insists these actions are in the distant past, and said his therapy with Faye Grant was never, ever meant to go public. As for how that got out? The couple’s settlement papers included a lengthy, detailed section about the now-infamous recording that was made in 2012. All copies of the tape must be destroyed, the court said. The original Stephen Collins audio will be handed over to an independent lawyer, who will only release it in the event of a future criminal or civil proceeding. 13 TV & Movie Casts Who Have Come Back Together 1. Don’t cry Amber , you can dry your tears with hundred dollar bills! Amber Rose May Have To Forego Spousal Support In Exchange For Over A Million Dollar Payout Outlined In Prenuptial Agreement Amber Rose is looking at plenty of pretty pennies thanks to her and Wiz’s prenup! According to TMZ reports: Amber Rose will score more than a million bucks from Wiz Khalifa … based on a long prenup she demanded before getting married … TMZ has learned. Sources connected with both Amber and Wiz tell TMZ … Amber made numerous demands in the prenup … which is more than 8 pages long. TMZ broke the divorce story … including the fact that Amber wants the prenup enforced. We’re told it’s because she will get more money in her 1-year-marriage than she would without a prenup. She does have a problem. According to her legal docs, Amber wants spousal support in addition to her million bucks. Our sources say the prenup specifically denies her the right to spousal support, in return for getting the 1-time payout. Cheating is IRRELEVANT … California is a no-fault state and there’s no mention of infidelity in the document. Likewise … the prenup does not mention custody, and for good reason — the judge always makes that decision, based on the best interests of the child. Amber is asking for full legal and physical custody. Do you think Amber would be making a wise choice to turn down spousal support in lieu of this payout? Do you think her lawyers will be successful in getting both? Is this what’s only fair? Are we looking at another Nas/Kelis type bitter child support/custody battle ahead of us? Instagram
It is officially – and legally – on between Porsha Williams and Kordell Stewart . Following the latter’s unexpected divorce filing this week, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star has fired back at her estranged husband via her very own set of court documents. And they counter Stewart’s claim that Williams is not entitled to spousal support because she’s capable of earning her own income. In what way? Porsha says her professional opportunities were set back when she quit her job and sold her business to care for Kordell’s child from another woman. She is therefore seeking alimony and sole use of the couple’s Atlanta home. According to Williams’ attorney, his client did not want to file papers because Stewart had promised he would work on his marriage with her. But with that vow broken, it’s all about to get even uglier than Stewart’s career completion percentage as an NFL quarterback.
The Denver Thong Bandit – a dude wearing a thong – has been seen running around and exposing himself in some of the city’s neighborhoods. Here is a police sketch of the alleged perp: Officials said the flashing suspect was first spotted at the end of last summer, but he’s been “quiet” for several months, only to surface again recently. Warmer weather and all probably helps. However, there have been four reports of the man exposing himself over the past two weeks, renewing concern that the Denver Thong Bandit is back. The underwear color has changed over time, officials said. Initial reports were of a man wearing a pink thong, but he has reportedly switched to black. Police are taking him seriously, too. “We’re looking for an individual who we have titled the ‘Thong Bandit,’” District 1 Commander Paul Pazen told 9NEWS. “He is fully clothed somewhere in the mouth of an alley, will disrobe down to a thong and expose himself further in front of female citizens in northwest Denver.” Denver Police are on the lookout across the city and region. If you see the DTB, call for help. Once you finish laughing.
Demi Moore didn’t merely file her own set of divorce papers this week, a little more than two months after Ashton Kutcher did the same. The actress insisted on spousal support from her estranged husband, an unusual request that is unlikely to be granted because Moore is far wealthier than Kutcher. But insiders tell TMZ that Moore doesn’t expect the support to be included in any settlement; she’s simply “really hurt” by Ashton, believes he was a “bad husband” and is seeking whatever retribution she can find. Kutcher did not ask for spousal support in his documents and sources say neither side is likely to receive any. But despite a bit of acrimony clearly existing, lawyers are in the middle of a negotiation and this case isn’t expect to go the route of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. It will be sorted out in the near future.
Sarah Palin and Fox News have agreed to part ways. The former Vice Presidential nominee signed a three-year contract with the network in January 2010, reportedly for $1 million per year, and has offered up her analysis of current events ever since. Most recently, she blasted President Obama for winning Time Person of the Year and slammed his handling of the Fiscal Cliff situation. It was the one issue on which Palin and Obama disagreed. Just kidding. Executive Bill Shine says the network wishes Palin all the “best in her future endeavors,” but there were signs that tension grew over the years between the ex-politician and Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes. He was quoted by The Associated Press in 2011 as saying “I hired Sarah Palin because she was hot and got ratings.” Karl Rove, meanwhile, recently renewed his contract at Fox through the 2016 election. No word yet on what Palin will do next, but there’s little doubt that producers at Dancing with the Stars are burning up the Alaskan phone lines as we type.
