Email Submit On the footage, you can see Dnigma talking to a friend as officers loom in the background. When the friend leaves they immediately run up on Dnigma and push her to the ground. Video from another angle shows the officers dragging Howard down the stairs, and at the bottom one officer is holding her arm while the other is holding her leg. “In the video you can see they pull her by the leg down the stairs, the whole flight of stairs,” Dnigma’s father Laurentio Howard. One cop on the video appears to both punch and kick the teenaged girl while she’s on the ground. Dnigma’s father had been called to the school to pick her up after she was kicked out of class for having her phone out. He was on hand watching Chicago police handle his daughter like this. “I’m standing downstairs by the front door and she said, ‘I’m going to get her to come downstairs. She’s going home right now,’” he said. “I couldn’t believe I seen two sworn police officers of Chicago abusing my daughter like this and I’m standing right there watching them do this and can’t do anything about it,” he recalled of the incident. Email Submit Kelis is going to trial after pleading not guilty to violating her custody agreement with her ex-husband, rapper Nas. According to The Blast , Nas alleges that Kelis violated thier custody agreement 17 times since January 2018 and has refused to let him see their nine-year-old son, Knight, numerous times. Since she pleaded not guilty to 20 counts of contempt, she is going to trial on June 20th and could face fines and/or jail time. In court documents, the “Bye Baby” rapper claims that Kelis took Knight to Colombia in December 2018 without his consent. He said she also violated their agreement regarding custody during the holidays. Kelis has their son during Christmas while he would have him for New Year’s, however it didn’t work out that way this year. “On Christmas, Petitioner informed me by text message that although her ‘plan’ had been to bring the minor child back to me in Los Angeles for New Year’s, the plan had changed. She then stated that the new plan was to come back on January 4, 2019,” read the court documents. Not only was he allegedly unable to reach his son while they were in Colombia, Kelis didn’t return to the U.S until January 14th after saying she would be back on January 4th. Nas and Kelis have been divorced since 2010. Last year, she alleged that the Nas physically abused her during their marriage and was also unfaithful. “He was angry, and he was dark, and he’s always been that way,” she told Hollywood Unlocked . The iconic Notre Dame cathedral in Paris is on fire as we speak. Officials told ABC that “everything is burning, nothing will remain from the frame” as the fire took down cathedral’s spire. The roof also collapsed as workers scrambled to salvage artwork stored and artifacts inside the cathedral erected in 1260 AD. ABC News reports that Paris Mayor Anne Hildago and firefighters warned people to stay away from the area. There have been no confirmed deaths or injuries. Officials believe the fire may be connected to a recent $6 million restoration of the church, officials said. Last week, the statues of the apostles were removed for restoration.
