According to a story in the NYDailyNews , a female employee of the Jefferson City Correctional Center, Amy Murray, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after the body of her husband Joshua Murray was found inside their burned home back in December. Miller County Sheriff Louie Gregoire told KMIZ that something about this situation didn’t smell right: “It looked suspicious,” Miller County Sheriff Louie Gregoire told KMIZ. “The sheriff’s office detectives came in with the fire marshal’s office department and started investigating it and continued from there.” Despite working in a prison, Amy isn’t too good at this criminal thing according to Lake Expo : “Several phone conversations between Amy Murray and Eugene Claypool talked about having a life now that Joshua Murray was deceased and out of the picture,” read probable cause documents obtained by Lake Expo. Expo reveals that Amy had been working to get ol’ Eugene an early release from prison as he had already served almost 20 years for fatally stabbing a 72-year-old man. THAT’S the man you want to call “husband”? A man who kills elderly people?! Guess there is a romantic connection amongst killers. SMH.

If there are people who have regular jobs coming out in the rain and the snow coming out to see your show, you don’t need these awards here,” he told the audience before the CBS telecast cut him off. Source: Michael Bezjian / Getty Vincent Herbert , the ex-husband of Celebrity Big Brother star Tamar Braxton, might have to let go some of his royalties to settle a $65,000 debt. Herbert has worked behind the scenes with the likes of Toni Braxton , Destiny’s Child, and others. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a company named Manhattan Leasing Enterprises is taking steps to collect the money owed to them from Herbert. They sued him for allegedly breaching a 2016 Rolls Royce lease and were awarded a $65,138.02 judgment in the case. Since being awarded the judgment, they claim to have not been paid a dime from Herbert on the debt. Manhattan Leasing recently subpoenaed American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) to find answers about Herbert’s royalties and music income. Manhattan specifically wants to know about royalties that Herbert is collecting for his work on the Toni Braxton songs “How Many Ways” and “Please,” multiple tracks by JoJo, Destiny’s Child, Mindless Behavior, Montell Jordan, Bryson Tiller and even music from Gloria Gaynor. A Black entrepreneur from North Carolina is creating coloring books for the culture. In celebration of #BlackExcellence, Latoya Nicole launched a coloring book series that visually highlights African-American history and culture, the Charleston Chronicle reported. Latoya Nicole's coloring book “24 Shades of Business” is not only a therapeutic activity, there are also inspirational quotes and crossword puzzles that test your black history and reminds of what it takes to be successful in your career #BlackHistoryMonth https://t.co/z6WRttOZFh — Charleston Chronicle (@ChronicleChasSC) February 9, 2019 The coloring book—dubbed 24 Shades of Business —is an ode to Black entrepreneurship, the news outlet writes. Nicole says that in addition to celebrating Black trailblazers who fought for justice during Black history month, she wanted to see the accomplishments of Black business owners celebrated as well; especially Black women entrepreneurs. The 24 Shades of Business coloring book features imagery of Black women in a variety of different occupations, highlighting a women who leads in the boardroom, a photographer, a blogger, a yoga instructor, and other professions. The coloring book also features inspirational quotes. Coloring books have become therapeutic for adults. Nicole says she wanted to use her project as an avenue to celebrate Black women and encourage them to practice self-care. Nicole holds a master’s degree in counseling and psychology. “Women can be so self-sufficient and self-sacrificing that sometimes we can forget the importance of self-care,” she told the Daytona Times . “I knew I wanted to create something that I could relate to because representation matters, plus coloring was like therapy for me. Coloring allows us to switch our brains off from other thoughts and focus and concentrate only on the moment which can help decrease stress.” She also has another book in her Entrepreneurs Color Too series called 80’s Ladies which includes popular fashion trends from the 80s and 90s. Nicole has taken her mission to inspire and empower women beyond her coloring books. She has also created e-courses, books and journals to help women entrepreneurs grow their business.
