Source: Handout / Getty Kanye Dropped A Bag On $14 Million Condo For Kim This Christmas According to TMZ , Kanye may have won husband of the year after it was revealed that he bought Kim an exclusive Miami Beach condo estimated at $14 million. The 18-story building is reportedly occupied by hedge fund super wealthy land developers. Kanye viewed the property on his own while in town for Art Basel without Kim knowing. The unit is reportedly 4,700 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths and an insanely large terrace. The building is tricked out with a gym, pool and spa. It was originally listed at $15.5 million.
Source: Prince Williams / Getty Usher Officially Files For Divorce From Wife Grace Miguel According to TMZ , Usher has officially filed for divorce from estranged wife, Grace Miguel. The couple split earlier this year, but the “Let it Burn” singer filed documents in Atlanta Friday to call it quits and officially end the marriage. Things reportedly went sour after the revelation of several allegations and lawsuits claiming Usher spread herpes to multiple women . The papers state December 24, 2017 as the couple’s date of separation and that the two reached a confidential settlement agreement, only thing left to make it official is a judge to sign off. In a joint statement, Usher and Grace said, “After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives.”
Source: Netflix / Netflix Sandra Bullock Reveals What The “Bird Box” Creatures REALLY Looked Like Chances are you’re one of the 45,037,125 Netflix users (or one of the millions of friends and fam using someone else’s account) that caught Bird Box over the last week , chances are you’ve at least had a passing curiosity about what the entity that had the world on tilt would look like if you dared remove your blindfold and take a peek. Welp, now we have an answer. A deleted scene from the hit flick was set to show the creature in question over Sandra Bullock’s shoulder…but it didn’t make the film’s final cut. Screenwriter Eric Heisserer told Bloody Disgusting that producers pushed him to include a scene that showed the creature to the audience, though that was NOT the original plan. “There was a time when one of the producers was like, ‘No, you have to see something at some point’ and forced me to write essentially a nightmare sequence where Malorie experiences one in that house.” But according to lead actress Sandra Bullock …the end effect was more comical than chilling: “It was a green man with a horrific baby face. It was snake-like, and I was like, ‘I don’t want to see it when it first happens. Just bring it into the room. We’ll shoot the scene.’ I turn and he’s like this [growling at me.] It’s making me laugh. It was just a long fat baby.” A fat green baby-man. Is that what you were picturing? Either way, after dedicating hours of shoot time to this dud of a scene, director Susanne Bier decided to scrap it, noting that not only was it unintentionally hilarious, but it turned the movie into something else entirely. Besides, the point was that everyone saw something personal that drove them to compulsively end it all. “It so easily becomes funny. We actually shot that and spent a lot of energy on, but every time I saw it, I was like this is not going to be tense. It’s just going to be funny. At first, Sandy was like, ‘I don’t want to see it’ because she thought it was scary. Then it was like, ‘Don’t show it to me because [I’ll laugh].’ Every time I did it, I was like, ‘Sh*t, that’s a different film.’” We think it worked much better as it was. What do you think? Aretha Franklin Arguably the greatest singer EVER, Franklin died in August after a brave battle against cancer. 3. John McCain The heroic U.S. senator lost his battle with brain cancer at the age of 81. May he rest in peace. 4. Kate Spade Kate Spade is pictured here back in 2008. The designer very sadly killed herself years later at the age of 55. 5. Mark Salling Mark Salling took his own life. The Glee star was 35. 6. Jerry Van Dyke May Jerry Van Dyke rest in peace. Bird Box took Netflix by storm over the holidays. In the film, Sandra Bullock is one of the survivors of a worldwide phenomenon in which treachurous entities inflict madness upon people who see them. To survive, she and the others — including two children — blindfold themselves almost all of the time. She also takes a box of birds small birds with her. The birds alert her when the entities are nearby. Viewers were haunted by what they saw. Even celebrities were not immune. Others were merely perplexed or critical. And a lot of them were downright thirsty. Take a look: 1. Let’s start with the Crowned Queen of Twitter Chrissy Teigen could just as easily have had this nightmare after watching Netflix’s The Dragon Prince, if fan theories are correct, but she makes it very clear that this deeply anxious dream came from Bird Box. 2. She watched the film as a mother Children in peril can be a powerful motivator for audiences — thoughs some see it as a cheap and manipulative tactic, others see it as a vital component of telling a good suspense story. 3. Chrissy’s no stranger to horror, either Even devoted horror fans have their weaknesses, and Bird Box got to Chrissy. 4. There’s a lot to process Sometimes examining a story for what appears to be problems with worldbuilding can be a welcome distraction from absolute terror. For Zelda Williams and John Legend, it’s also just part of consuming media. 5. Movies can stay with you Clearly, Chrissy is still recovering. 6. But enough about terror; let’s talk about THIRST Trevante Rhodes played Tom in Bird Box. All of a sudden we were in our own special episode of The Flash , wondering if Dr. Wells’ particle accelerator exploded, hoping the end result would be super speed—while non-superhero fanatics simply thought “the aliens” were taking over. It turns out, there’s a simpler explanation, as the New York Police Department confirmed the sky’s color change was due to a transformer explosion at a Con Edison facility. The fire is under control, will update as more info becomes available,” the NYPD tweeted on Thursday, December 27. Con Ed also reached out via social media, tweeting “There was a brief electrical fire at our substation in Astoria which involved some electrical transformers and caused a transmission dip in the area. We’re currently investigating the cause of the incident. AQ.” As of late last night, the NYPD was still advising everyone to stay away from the area. “Transformer explosion was determined to be a non-suspicious equipment malfunction. Please continue to avoid the area due to keep traffic clear. Thank you,” they wrote in a follow-up tweet just before midnight.
