Entertainment / Getty Van Jones Credits Kim Kardashian For Getting First Step Act Passed Van Jones’ enthusiasm for Kim Kardashian’s efforts at prison reform is somewhat understandable, but he’s taking it a bit far. TMZ caught up with CNN’s resident political analyst and he gushed about the Senate passing the First Step Act in an overwhelming 87-12 vote. The act aims to free 50,000 people from prison and end the inhumane treatment of women inmates. Make no mistake, this is very good thing. That said, you’re hard-pressed to convince us that Kim Kardashian’s meeting with Donald Trump is the sole reason this legislation passed. Source: NBC / Getty The Tonight Show Is Officially Doing A Night In Puerto Rico Jimmy Fallon and his whole crew over at The Tonight Show are all set to hit the road to air a special episode from Puerto Rico on January 15. It will all go down during the 24-show run of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton on the island, which is going to raise relief funds in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. The news was announced during an interview with Miranda for Monday night’s episode of The Tonight Show . The January episode–on which Miranda will be a guest, of course–will highlight the nation’s efforts to rebuild after the hurricane that struck the island back in September. The episode is going to feature an exclusive performance of the musical’s new touring cast along with Miranda, who is reprising his lead role in the play Both Fallon and Miranda were ecstatic as they announced the plan on the program last night. Prior to this special performance of the play, Miranda also wrote the book, music and lyrics along with starring in the original, which won 11 Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Price. This isn’t the first time The Tonight Show has taken their live show to the streets and performed in venues outside of the famous 30 Rock. Back in September, Fallon’s late-night show did a live episode from New York’s Central Park. They’ve also done numerous stints on the other side of the country in Los Angeles, California.

According to DailyMail , the man was arrested about a mile from the school. Police would not confirm the nature of the victim and the suspect’s relationship, but students at the school say they the two were seeing each other romantically. Several witnesses who spoke about the shooting said they heard seven or eight loud bangs. At first I thought she had fallen or that she had been beaten. Only later did I see that she had been shot at. ‘She was lying on her stomach.’ What the F**K?!?
THIS JUST IN: Blac Chyna may actually not be a giant liar after all. We know, right? We’re as stunned by this development as you are. But here’s what we can say about it: Way back in October of 2017, Blac Chyna sued the Kardashian family because she claimed they set out to destroy her career on purpose. According to documents filed by Blac’s attorneys last fall, Kris Jenner and her daughters used their “power and influence over the E! network to kill the second season [of Rob & Chyna].” This sounded crazy to us when we first read it. That show was stupid and had terrible ratings and that’s why E! gave it the axe… right? A few months later, in May 2018, Chyna’s legal team followed up by arguing that the Kardashians were prepared to end filming on their own reality show unless executives gave Blac her walking papers. Again… crazy, right? The Kardashians were willing to walk away from millions and millions of dollars out of spite for Chyna? Based on newly-released emails obtained by Radar Online? Yes, actually! They were. This website has published emails sent between the Jenners and Kardashians that expose their true feelings about Blac Chyna, along with what do appear to be threats made to E!. For example: “I feel very strongly about canceling Season 2 for Rob&Chyna,” Kylie wrote in an email to Khloe and two redacted names, according to court documents. This email continues: “The only reason Chyna wants to be with my brother is for this show. She does not love Rob and their relationship is too fake and destructive.” Kylie wasn’t done, either: We all know filming isn’t my favorite but I will sacrifice and promise you guys episodes and stories and I’m sure all my sisters will be on board to make up for all the episodes Rob&Chyna were supposed to bring in. The public has been exposed to what a fake relationship they have and it’s embarrassing and makes us all look fake. The show is giving this toxic woman money and exposure she lives and breathes for and by continuing it. She will proceed with using and physically abusing my brother. … Her association is detrimental to our family and Keeping Up W the Kardashians. What’s great here isn’t just how Kylie is trying to push E! to cancel Chyna’s show — it’s that she admits her own is pretty much fake a phony as well with the way she promises to provide producers with “stories.” Man, do all these people deserve each other. Then there was this from Khloe: The sisters are clearly concerned and uncomfortable for our brothers safety and the credibility of the brand at this point due to how they [Rob and Chyna] are both tarnishing it… We are even considering not moving forward with our show if theirs continues. That’s how strongly we feel this is damaging to our family. Ah, there it is. There’s the threat. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Randolph M. Hammock ruled on Monday December 17 that Chyna and the Kardashians will face off in court in February of 2020. That’s a long time from now. Who knows what other bombshells will be dropped in the meantime? “Chyna is extremely happy that she will have her day in court,” the model’s layer, Lynne M. Ciani, told Radar Online after Monday’s hearing. “ She added: “This has been very hard fought and we are very grateful that the judge sees the validity of our point. “Chyna will have her chance to testify in front of a jury of her peers and have her side of the story told in court.” It feels like forever ago, but Rob and Chyna chronicled their brief engagement and their journey to becoming the parents of now-two-year-old daughter Dream on their 2016 E! docuseries, Rob & Chyna. Bumblebee is personally my favorite Transformer movie ever. It’s a throwback of sorts and you immediately feel thrown back in time. With epic performances by Angela Bassett, John Cena, and Hailee Steinfeld director Travis Knight does the damn thing. On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town when Charlie played by the lovely Hailee Steinfeld, discovers a car that wasn’t there before. She is on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world when she barters for this car, she takes it home only to discover her new beat up VW is actually a Transformer named Bumblebee. The auto-bot is battle-scarred and broken and cannot talk anymore when Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow bug. On this episode of Extra Butter With Xilla Valentine, we talk to Angela Bassett about doing voice work. She was so good I didn’t even notice she was the evil Decepticon Shatter until the very end of the movie. A testament to how great she is in the role. We also talk to John Cena who plays the angry Agent Burn. I talked to him about being a bad guy for once. Overall this is a great film with exception acting that his theaters everywhere December 21st, 2018

Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali’s contentious, controversial relationship has been credited with putting 90 Day Fiance on the map. Now that fan donations saved Danielle’s house , she’s answering some additional questions that a number of fans had. Just how hard did she work to get Mohamed deported? And, in this current climate, how likely is it that he’ll be sent back to Tunisia? Danielle shared a message to Instagram, clearly using speech-to-text (which jumbled a few words, which we’ve corrected). “For those that are questioning whether I got my ex deported,” Danielle’s message begins. She reveals: “The application he had to file in order to remove his conditions in order to get ten year card is backlogged over a year.” “So he could still get deported,” Danielle explains. “But then,” she notes. “He could appeal.” Danielle captioned the image with a little context. “Info for people questioning my ex’s green card,” Danielle writes. Previously, fans have wondered if Mohamed might be deported after he revealed that some of his paperwork had been lost in the mail. Many felt that it would be a real shame, since Mohamed has moved to Texas and is working hard to keep his life going. Others feel that after he cheated on Danielle and seemed to simply use her to come to America, he doesn’t deserve to be here. Others still agree that Mohamed’s motives were less than sincere, but felt that dealing with Danielle was enough that he “paid his dues,” so to speak. Danielle also took to a video for her fans in which she elaborated a little on the subject of her ex. “I felt used,” Danielle explains. “So I filed for an annulment.” “That was my best chance to get him deported,” she reasons. Who could forget Danielle telling Mohamed that she would do everything in her power to get him deported? “But when he begged me to file for a divorce instead,” Danielle claims. “I gave in so he could stay in America.” For the record, her own attorney told her that an annulment was unlikely to go through, because they had consummated their marriage exactly once . On a humorous note, Danielle’s text post about how Mohamed could eventually appeal if his Green Card isn’t extended was “liked” by Larissa Dos Santos Lima. Larissa is part of this season of 90 Day Fiance ‘s most controversial couple. Some say that she and Coltee have inherited Danielle and Mohamed’s mantle. Colt strikes people as condescending and, frankly, more than a little weird. Larissa strikes people — literally — according to her two arrests for domestic battery. She also loves to complain and flip out. Also, just last week, Larissa exposed Colt’s cheating with multiple women. Did Larissa just sympathize with Danielle as a woman who’s been cheated on, or is she taking notes on how to avoid deportation if she gets a divorce? Danielle explained why Mohamed is still in the United States from her perspective. So it makes sense that she claimed that it was her forgiving nature that allowed him to remain. We suspect that Mohamed would tell a different story. That said, he no longer seems interested in a reality career and just wants to live his life.
