Fashion Face-Off: Kristin Cavallari vs. Stephanie Pratt

The Hills stars Kristin Cavallari and Stephanie Pratt won’t win a lot of fashion awards for these. If there even are any fashion awards. That’s unclear. In any case, where do we even begin? At the Salt premiere in Hollywood, Kristin debuted a really short dress with spiked shoulder pads. Yeah. Wow. Stephanie, meanwhile, attended the premiere of The Extra Man in New York wearing the drapes from a house with 1970s decor. Very chic … we guess. Who do you think looked less bad? Vote below! Who’s got the better look?

You’ve heard (and read ) Stephanie’s take on Kids , but what exactly makes Despicable Me worthy of this glory? As the great Warner Wolf would say, “Let’s go to the videotape!”

‘The Hills’ Recap: Kristin Tells Brody How She Feels

‘Now is kind of too late,’ Brody responds when she says she’d give a relationship a try. By Amy Wilkinson Kristin Cavallari Photo: MTV After Kristin’s attempt to make Brody jealous by shamelessly flirting with bartender Will went nowhere in Costa Rica, she decided to take a more novel approach this week by telling Brody how she truly feels. But Brody didn’t exactly return the sentiment on Tuesday night’s episode of Stephanie met up with Lo and Holly to catch them up on all the Costa Rica gossip, including the Brody/Kristin drama. “I think she acts like it’s a game, but it really means more to her,” Lo observed. “Because he knows she’s really in love with him.” Talk then turned to the impending arrival of Holly’s mom, Darlene. “I don’t know what I’m going to do if she wants to see Heidi,” Holly said. “But does she know none of us talk to them?” Stephanie asked. “I haven’t told her yet because I didn’t want to make things worse,” Holly replied. But after picking her mom up at LAX, Holly wasted no time telling her what was going on (or not going on) with Heidi. “I tried to call Heidi, but I don’t know how to get a hold of her anymore,” she told Darlene. “I would love to see her while I’m here,” Darlene replied. Holly told Darlene that they’ve written Heidi and Spencer off, but Darlene said she doesn’t believe Holly can completely rid her life of Heidi. Holly is, after all, Heidi’s protector. Later that night, the gang convened at the Colony, where Brody ignored Kristin. Though to be fair, it didn’t look as if Kristin was making much of an attempt to talk to Brody either. Stephanie caught the eye of Brody’s motorcycle-racing friend Josh, who began chatting her up. Brody made it plain to Josh that Stephanie was a bit of a handful. “She’s got some issues,” he told him, but that didn’t stop Josh from walking Stephanie back to her car and asking for her number. The pair met later for a date at Angels & Kings, where Stephanie nervously ordered a soda, as did her date. He divulged that he’d heard about Stephanie’s problems, including her estranged brother and the DUI, and said that he didn’t drink too often because of his racing, which Stephanie found quite reassuring and charming. The next day, Stacie and Kristin met to talk about Brody’s cool reception toward Kristin, and Kristin divulged that Brody had called to say he wanted to talk. “This is the perfect opportunity to get it all out there,” Stacie advised. “But Stace, what else is there to say?” Kristin replied. “But that’s the thing,” Stacie countered. “You really haven’t said it. You haven’t made it clear at all. If you don’t talk about it … you’re going to regret it.” One couple that was on the right track was Lo and her BF Scott, who went out to dinner to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Scott asked when Lo’s lease was up, because he wants to move in with her. But Lo was hesitant to agree to anything for sure because she doesn’t want to move in with a guy unless she’s engaged. Meanwhile, Brody and Kristin met for their chat. “I’m glad that you came over and that you want to talk,” Kristin started. “I feel like things are weird between us now.” “I think things are different,” Brody said cautiously. “What do you want?” Visibly flustered, Kristin let it all out. “I guess I kind of want to give things a shot with you,” she said. “I want a boyfriend. I’d be willing to really try.” “Well, now is kind of too late,” Brody responded. “Part of the reason I’ve been so distant is because I’ve been hanging out with somebody else. And I kind of want to see where it could go. And I think we’ve already been down that road and it didn’t work out. I’m sorry it had to be like this.” It may have also been too late for Darlene to reach Heidi. When Darlene and Holly met for lunch, Holly had tracked down Heidi’s number but couldn’t get a response. The distance from her daughter left Darlene shaken. “I just feel like she can’t live in two worlds, and she feels like she has to choose between us and Spencer,” Darlene said. “I haven’t slept for months. I had to get a prescription for sleeping pills. I’ve been mourning the loss of a child.” Kristin was also in a state of mourning as she met with Lo to discuss her talk with Brody. “You can’t let Brody Jenner make you feel like an idiot, ” Lo advised. “He’s the guy that yells in bars. C’mon.” “I completely put myself out there and he doesn’t want me,” Kristin said. “The guy I love doesn’t want me. It’s done.” Related Videos The Hills (Season 6) | Ep. 11 | ‘Loves Me Not’ The Hills: Live After Show (Season 6) | Ep. 11 Related Photos The Hills (Season 6) | Ep. 11 | ‘Loves Me Not’

‘The Hills’ Recap: Kristin Gets Her Flirt On In Costa Rica

Brody tries to play off his jealousy, and Audrina feels ‘awkward’ around Justin Bobby. By Amy Wilkinson Kristin Cavallari on “The Hills” Tuesday Photo: MTV For the 100th episode of “The Hills,” the gang (sans Lo) headed to Costa Rica for a little rest, relaxation and, of course, drama. As everyone explored their posh tropical resort, Stephanie wasted no time pulling Audrina aside to see how comfortable (or uncomfortable) she felt vacationing with Justin Bobby, whom Audrina had been seeing more of since she and Ryan Cabrera broke up. “It’s a little romantic of a trip,” Stephanie began. “Is that weird, since Justin is with us? Are you going to be OK?” For the most part, Audrina seemed unfazed, but she and Stephanie weren’t the only ones chatting about a potential hookup. “I think Justin and Audrina are probably going to hook up,” Kristin declared, though the rest of the group seemed sure it would be Kristin and Brody doing the hooking up. But later, Kristin confided in Stacie that she had her doubts about Brody. Stacie’s advice? “Flirt with every single guy here.” It didn’t take long for Kristin to follow at least part of Stacie’s advice as she got her flirt on with their lip-ringed bartender, Will. Brody was visibly irritated as Kristin told the bartender he was cute and accepted his invitation to hang out later that night — but Brody tried to play it off, saying, “I’m not going to get upset. I’m looking for chicks here too. You’re like my little sister.” Wow, harsh. Perhaps inspired by Kristin’s overtures, Justin Bobby began putting a few moves on Audrina. “You’re so cute with your hair up,” he complimented her. And later, as he was leaving the bar, he took it upon himself to grab Audrina’s butt — both cheeks! The next day, after an afternoon of surfing and ATV riding, everyone (including bartender Will) gathered for dinner. Sitting next to each other, Audrina asked JB why he’d been acting so strange lately. “It was awkward last night,” she said. “I had my reasons for not being my normal self,” Justin said, talking about Audrina’s emotional baggage. Brody again pretended not to be miffed by Will’s presence, offering a toast to Kristin, or as he so creepily put it, to “the sisters I’ve had sex with.” That was more than enough to rile Kristin, who grabbed Will, left the table and began making out with him by the pool. As the trip wound down, Justin made one last attempt at pleasantries with Audrina, asking her if she’d ever come back to Costa Rica, to which she simply responded, “Not with you.” Should Kristin and Brody quit playing around and get together for real? Sound off in the comments. “The Hills: Final Season” airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT every Tuesday, followed by “The City” at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Chris Klein Plastered During DUI Arrest; May Do Time

There’s no excuse for driving drunk. If you’re gonna be imbibing, just call for a cab or crash with a friend. It’s not worth the risk to yourself or the public. That said, some DUIs definitely worse than others. There are the Stephanie Pratt-style arrests, in which the person registers a BAC of exactly .08, and legitimately felt they were in good condition to drive. Then you have Chris Klein early this morning, bombed out of his mind at 2.5 TIMES THE LEGAL LIMIT and cruisin’ down the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles. He blew a .20. The limit is .08. Amazing. The American Pie star’s bail for the DUI arrest, his second in the last six months, has been set at $25,000. We purposely found the worst Chris Klein photo ever taken . Chris could be headed to jail in the wake of this incident due to his history of driving drunk, too. The guy was also arrested and convicted of DUI in 2004. California law requires that he serve jail time if convicted again. Also, a new law requires an “ignition interlock system” installed if he wishes to drive. Lindsay Lohan should really have one of those. The system is essentially a breathalyzer test that’s synced up to the car. If he’s not sober, it won’t turn on. This is only if he’s convicted again, of course. With a .20 BAC, one wonders how he won’t be.

‘The Hills’ Recap: Can Kristin And Brody Work As Friends With Benefits?

Plus, a sober Stephanie Pratt reenters the dating world. By Amy Wilkinson Looking good in a crop top, sometimes just isn’t enough to save a faltering friends-with-benefits relationship. Brody Jenner learned that lesson the hard way on Tuesday night’s episode of “The Hills,” as his budding romance with a new girl got in the way of his relationship with ex Kristin Cavallari. When Brody and Kristin decided to hook up last week, they were both clear that they loved the single life and that their relationship would just be casual — a fact Brody reiterated by announcing that he was going on a date with another girl. “I’m not looking for a relationship,” Brody reminded a plainly peeved Kristin. “I’m enjoying being single.” Meanwhile, the very un-single Audrina was trying to convince boyfriend Ryan Cabrera to go out with her and her dramatic friends — a crowd Ryan has gone to great lengths to avoid. “I’ll be waiting at home in my candy thong reading ‘Catcher in the Rye,’ ” he said, though he did end up being a good sport and going. After facing the stress of her DUI and distancing herself from brother Spencer, Stephanie told Lo that she felt like she was in a good place to start dating someone. And wouldn’t you know it, Lo had just the guy for her: her boyfriend Scott’s friend Max. Getting slightly ahead of herself, Stephanie wondered aloud how her potential date would react to her being 23 and sober. Lo told her not to worry. But Lo wasn’t the only girl dishing out relationship advice. Audrina met up for a chill evening at Kristin’s house, where they problem talked about Brody and Kristin’s little arrangement. “We’re having a good time,” Kristin explained. She then tried to dial up Brody on his cell, but the call went directly to voicemail, because Brody was on a date with new girl McKaela. “I have a no-phone-at-the-table rule,” McKaela informed him, prompting Brody to ignore the call. Brody rubbed his new flirtation in Kristin’s face even more by bringing McKaela out to meet the gang. “Kristin is going to flip out when she comes,” Audrina told Brody. Though Kristin didn’t necessarily “flip out,” she was visibly hurt by the slight — and the large amount of PDA going on between Brody and his date. After complaining to Kristin about how she was being unkind to his date, Brody and McKaela finally left the gathering for a little alone time. And then it was Stephanie’s turn to pursue new romantic possibilities. Stephanie went on a seemingly successful double date with new guy Max, with Lo and Scott in tow. At the end of the night, Max offered his jacket, and Stephanie offered her number. Kristin finally decided she needed to speak with Brody about what had happened a few nights before and went over to his condo for a chat, which quickly escalated into a heated argument. “You were being really rude being all over McKaela in front of me like that,” Kristin started. Brody replied that it was Kristin who had been rude by not paying attention to McKaela. By the time Brody finally admitted he liked both girls and was just having fun, Kristin had had enough. “I’m not going to wait around while you figure out what you want to do. It’s not fair,” she said. And with that, she stormed out of Brody’s condo. Do you think Brody and Kristin should get back together for real, or continue their casual relationship? Share your thoughts in the comments. “The Hills: Final Season” airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT every Tuesday, followed by “The City” at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. ‘The Hills’: Spencer And Heidi Turn Their Backs On Friends, Family

Plus, Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner hook up. By Amy Wilkinson Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner on “The Hills” Photo: MTV After weeks of dealing with Spencer Pratt’s erratic behavior and uncontrollable temper, sister Stephanie Pratt made a tearful pledge to cut him out of her life on Tuesday’s (May 18) episode of “The Hills.” The episode opened on Stephanie lunching with sister-in-law Holly Montag — a meeting of the minds of sorts to discuss their troubled siblings. “You have no idea what he’s said to me in a threatening nature,” Holly said, recalling her altercation with Spencer during last week’s episode. “It’s so frustrating because I just miss my sister.” In another L.A. restaurant, Heidi Montag and Kristin Cavallari were dishing about Kristin’s flirtation with Brody. “I’ve been hanging out with Brody a bit. I don’t know what’s going on,” Kristin said. Talk then turned to Spencer, with Kristin voicing her concern over his unexplained behavior. “You know Spencer, he’s always been crazy,” Heidi said. “I can’t tell you what to do, but if he’s losing his mind, you can’t stick around,” Kristin advised. “I want to focus on love. It’s like, who am I without Spencer?” Heidi replied. Brody was also ready to focus on love — well, let’s be honest, most likely lust — when the group met later at the club Wonderland. With his hand on the small of Audrina’s (whom you’ll recall is dating Ryan Cabrera) back, Brody told her he had some things he wanted to tell her that he couldn’t when he was dating girlfriend Jade. “I feel like you want what you can’t have,” Audrina responded. Before Brody could argue much, Spencer entered the club, making a beeline for Brody and ignoring all of the girls, including Kristin, who was yelling his name. “Right now, you are so stuck in your marriage, and I can tell you’re not happy,” Brody said, which nearly brought Spencer to tears. That is, before he lashed out at Audrina for asking where Heidi was. “People don’t know how dangerous I am,” Spencer declared, freakishly agitated. Heidi later met up with Audrina and Kristin to once again defend Spencer’s behavior. “All guys are a little controlling,” she informed them. Having been rebuffed by Audrina, Brody turned his sights on ex Kristin during an outing to club Voyeur. At the insistence of friends, Brody kissed Kristin. But there were even more crazy shenanigans going on in the club. Spencer and Heidi showed up with crystals in hand, proselytizing to their fellow patrons. “This one is for geniuses,” Heidi explained, showing one of her rocks to Kristin. “I don’t let her go on TV or computers,” Spencer told Kristin proudly. “She is logged out of the Matrix.” The next morning we caught up with Kristin in her kitchen when — surprise! — Brody emerged from a back room clad in a crop-top worthy of a house boy from “The Birdcage.” Though it was clear they had hooked up the night before, Brody told Kristin he wasn’t interested in anything serious. “I’m really enjoying being single,” he admitted to Kristin, who agreed. Later that day, Audrina, Lo, Stephanie and Holly convened at Kristin’s house to discuss the Spencer/Heidi situation. “I think she’s brainwashed,” Holly said. “I think I want to cut them out of my life,” Stephanie concluded, sobbing. But Holly wasn’t ready to take that final step. “She’s the only person who’s always been there for me,” she said. “I feel like she’s gone forever.” Related Videos The Hills (Season 6) | Ep. 4 | ‘This Is Goodbye’ Related Photos The Hills (Season 6) | Ep. 4 | ‘This Is Goodbye’
