Coca-Cola just introduced a brand new bottle – made entirely of ice. Sadly, only in Colombia for the time being. But it looks awesome! Check ’em out in the video below: Coca-Cola Bottle Made of Ice Marketed as “eco-friendly” in this ad, the bottles are part of a push by Coke to think seriously about the environment – or at least a PR campaign that suggest it is. While logistical issues posed by bottles made of ice are manifold, can you imagine how many tons of plastic would be saved each year? Each week? Sure, there’s still high-fructose corn syrup. But zero waste, people!
Taylor Swift has released a new ad for her upcoming fragrance, which will be titled “Taylor by Taylor Swift” and which will be the third perfume of this star’s young career. The first two – Taylor Swift Enchanted Perfume and Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume – have both been best-sellers, with the artist even winning Celebrity Fragrance of the Year at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City last month. Yes, that really is such a thing. In the new spot, Swift kicks things off with a sparkler before jumping into a series of fun activities with her friends, from convertible riding to chalkboard writing. Watch now: Taylor Swift Fragrance Ad Taylor by Taylor Swift will feature a combination of peonies, hydrangeas and vanilla orchids; there will also be fruity notes of lychee and tangerine. The singer has said this fragrance is more about “my own personality” than the previous two. Whatever the heck that means.
Curse you Orlando Bloom! Six years ago the song from a YouTube video stuck in my brain on a loop for what seemed like an eternity. Now you have to go and be all cute and sing it yourself as you wrap up filming on The Hobbit and I’m sure “They’re taking the Hobbits to Isengard” will lull me off to sleep for weeks. Steve Jobs is somewhat of a sacred cow. And with every sacred cow, there’s gonna be someone making fun of it. With two dueling Steve Jobs movies in the works– jOBS starring Ashton Kutcher famously being the first one to be released, while the Aaron Sorkin film is still in production– Funny or Die has announced that the comedy website will in fact release the first Steve Jobs biopic. Sneaky. The movie, called iSteve , will run about 60-75 minutes and star Justin Long in the title role. According to writer/director Ryan Perez, the started as a fake trailer and escalated into a full movie. It too three days to write and five days to shoot, with most of the biographical information coming from Wikipedia. Should be a pretty interesting experiment. Watch iSteve on Funny or Die beginning April 15.
