A teenager, bleeding and screaming, was found dangling from his wrists over one of one of the busiest routes in Monterrey, the country’s third largest city. A man hung next to him was dead by the time rescuers arrived. The body of another man who tried to escape was riddled with bullets. Witnesses saw the killers get out of a van and toss the men – whose hands were bound with duct tape – off the bridge in broad daylight yesterday. One victim had a cellphone taped to his hands – apparently to suggest that he was murdered because he was an informant. Three days earlier, two men were hung by their necks off another bridge in Monterrey. One had their foot cut off. More than 35,000 people have been killed in drug-related violence across Mexico since 2006. This is outrageous! More than 35,000 people dead over drug trade? One of the men responsible for the permanent realness of sh*t in Mexico is now behind bars. The suspect, Victor Manuel Perez Izquierdo, was in charge of kidnappings, extortion and killings for the Zetas in Quintana Roo state, a federal police statement said. Police said information gleaned from the arrest of 10 other alleged Zeta members in Cancun last Saturday led to his capture Thursday. Perez Izquierdo was detained in Cancun while trying to escape in his car, the statement said. While Quintana Roo has not seen the levels of violence plaguing Mexico’s northern border states, it is a major drug trafficking zone. Unfortunately, Perez’ arrest probably won’t make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things. Also Saturday, Guatemalan authorities said they captured 15 alleged Zeta members, five of them Mexican, for alleged links to the killing and dismemberment of a Guatemalan prosecutor. Prosecutor General Claudia Paz y Paz said the suspects are under investigation in the death of local prosecutor Allan Stwolinski of Coban, a town about 120 miles northeast of Guatemala City. Authorities believe Stwolinski was slain in retaliation for helping seize 434 kilograms of cocaine from the Zetas. Police seized a cache of weapons along with the 15 suspects, including eight rifles, two grenade launchers, a grenade and ammunition for an M-16 assault rifle, said Donald Gonzalez, spokesman for Guatemala’s national police. The alleged Zeta members were detained in Coban, a stronghold of the ruthless Mexico-based drug cartel near Guatemala’s border with Mexico. The suspects are also being investigated for a possible connection to the massacre of 27 cattle ranch workers in mid-May in another northern province plagued by drug cartels, Paz said. SMH. NFL matrimony-dom isn’t all it’s cracked up to be for Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who is laid up in a hospital bed after getting into a spat with his wife. Brandon Marshall was stabbed in the stomach Friday night by his wife and the Dolphins wide receiver remained in intensive care in a Miami hospital after surgery Saturday morning. Michi-Nogami-Marshall, 26, was arrested Friday night on one charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. According to Broward County police records cited by the Orlando Sun-Sentinel, Nogami-Marshall told deputies she stabbed Marshall in self-defense. Nogami-Marshall is being held on a $7,500 bond. Sources told ESPN.com that Marshall was taken to Broward General Hospital and underwent surgery late Friday night for the stab wound. Doctors are saying no vital organs were pierced and that the Pro Bowler will be okay in two to three weeks. Marshall’s agent Kennard McGuire released the following statement: “This is a very difficult time for Brandon and his family, thankfully he will make a full recovery. We simply ask during this time we respect his privacy.” The Miami Herald is reporting that a high-end team source sent a text message saying Marshall is “stable” and the stabbing isn’t life threatening. The Herald also said the Dolphins are now fully aware of the situation. Marshall, who was acquired from the Denver Broncos last April, lead the Dolphins in receiving yards in 2010 with 1,014 despite only playing 14 games. A hamstring injury caused him to sit out two games. Marshall, who was involved in the fight at a Denver nightclub that ended with the shooting death of his teammate Darrent Williams on New Year’s Eve in 2006, has a history of off-field incidents. He has multiple arrests for disorderly conduct, drunken driving and domestic violence on his record. In 2008 he was suspended for three games by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, but the suspension was later reduced to just one game With Marshall’s history of getting slizzed and domestic abuse there may be a whole lot more to this story. Jan Brewer vetoed a controversial ‘birther’ bill on Monday night that would have required presidential candidates to submit a long-form birth certificate in order to be on the ballot. Approved in the state legislature last Thursday, the bill called for candidates to produce two or more qualifying documents in the absence of a long-form birth certificate, which include a “hospital birth record, early baptismal certificate, circumcision certificate, early census record or postpartum medical record signed by whoever delivered the child,” the Arizona Republic reported. The legislation was a clear attack on President Barack Obama, who has been the target of rumors he was not born in the United States since he began his first presidential campaign. Brewer, notorious for being a hard-line conservative, shot down the bill on Monday as going “too far” even for the red state. Brewer says: “I never imagined being presented with a bill that could require candidates for President of the greatest and most powerful nation on earth to submit their ‘early baptismal or circumcision certificates’…this is a bridge too far,” she said in a statement. “This measure creates significant new problems while failing to do anything constructive for Arizona.” President Obama took a second to brush the salt off his shoulders that these haters been throwing. “There’s been an effort to go at me in a way that is politically expedient in the short term for Republicans but creates I think a problem for them when they want to actually run in the general election, where most people feel pretty confident the President was born where he says he was, in Hawaii,” Obama said. In a statement, the Gulf Cooperation Council said the meeting will focus on completing discussions that took place Sunday in Saudi Arabia with the opposition Joint Meeting Parties. The meeting came as Yemeni security forces opened fire on anti-government protesters in the city of Taiz, injuring at least seven people, eyewitnesses and field medical teams said. The GCC, a six-nation bloc of oil-producing countries, met Sunday in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh, in an effort bring an end to the current political impasse in the country. Violence and protest have raged in Yemen, where protesters have called for the ouster of President Ali Abdullah Saleh. He has ruled the country since 1978. In recent weeks, thousands of protesters have taken to the streets. Many have been arrested and injured in clashes with security forces. The council has urged Saleh to transfer powers to his vice president, which has frustrated opposition members who want Saleh to resign. “We will stay firm in our demands … for Saleh to step down,” said Yaseen Saeed Noman, president of the JMP. “Our brothers at the GCC promised us that they would continue in talks with Yemen’s ruling party and try to reach a solution that will ease the crises in the country.” Imagine that: a conflict getting resolved without the US and it’s big bad Allies. The bullsh*t black people are put through in Amerikkka never ceases to amaze us. It was bad enough when this b*tch a*s sorry excuse for “Protect and Serve” was not indicted for committing murder . Not to mention the gall these pigs had charging Danroy’s teammates with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction for trying to HELP their dying friend. Got to love good ol’ fashioned Karma. A 41-year-old white supremacist caught with weapons and explosives in Atlanta has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, Channel 2 Action News reports. Brandon Lee Hall was stopped in April 2010 on Moreland Avenue after a caller reported a suspicious person. He was found with a machete, handguns, black powder ball-bearing rounds, a map of Austin, Texas, and a possible bomb, according to Channel 2. Hall told police he was part of the Aryan Knights Brotherhood, the station reported. Hall also carried notes that read, “Blow the switch yard,” “Mass Evacuation” and “I’ll get a chance at being famous,” according to Channel 2. Hall, who had a previous felony conviction, told police he needed the weapons for his personal safety, the station reported. Yeah this guy was gonna end up on the news one way or another.
