Devon is ready start pimp slappin’ from the pulpit if people keep throwing shade at his Mrs. ……. Devon Franklin Responds To Criticism Of Wife Meagan Good Newlywed Devon Franklin has had enough of people talking sideways about his Hollyweird wifey Meagan Good. He says people talking that talk only know what they see of his bangin’ baawwwdied Mrs. in public and assume that that is how she lives her life off-screen, but that nothing could be further from the truth. via S2S Magazine After news of their announcement broke last year, DeVon said there was lots of chatter from those questioning his choice in a mate. Some just couldn’t make the connection between a God-fearing, Seventh Day Adventist, celibate man and the woman who fooled around on a kitchen table with a practical stranger in Jumping the Broom. “Good or bad, someone sees a public person and they don’t know you. They only know about you. Based upon what they know about you, they make a judgment on what is good for you, but they don’t know you,” he told Toure Roberts of One Church International. Devon admitted that he was a little shocked by the public’s reaction to what he considered joyous news. “The whole idea of he’s a preacher and she’s this, it blew my mind how many people had an opinion when God is the only one who directs our story. So, he knows where our story is going to go,” said DeVon who had no intention of being influenced by the naysayers. “They didn’t see how she fit or how I fit in her script, but I’m saying, ‘Wait a minute. When the last time you went before God? Before you gave me this note, before you posted that comment, did you pray?’” Meagan herself also spoke out on people attacking her religious background prior to becoming involved with her minister Mr. For Meagan, the questions seemed a bit more like personal attacks. People weren’t just doubting whether she was the right woman for DeVon; they were questioning her spirituality and relationship with God. “People think that I just got saved when I met DeVon or the year before, but I’ve been saved since I was 12. I’ve been loving the Lord since I was a little girl,” Meagan said. “The woman that God already made me—flaws and all—is the woman that DeVon fell in love with, not the woman I became after I met him.” Awwww how sweet
Lacey Banghard has a seriously hard face…rugged like a stripper who managed to escape the sex trade and life as a coked up prostitute by becoming a low level, but big breasted titty model…featured in all the UK magazines, possibly because she works at a discount, or maybe, just maybe cuz her tits are retarded…I mean there’s only so much conversation this gratuitous shit can stir up, it’s tits, I like tits, that’s all there is to it….if we’re looking for a moral in the story like this was a 90s sitcom…it’s girls…if you got tits…use them…they will make you famous…even if you’re not hot….all you need is tits…
J.J. Abrams appears to have cornered the universe. Both The Wrap and The Hollywood Reporter are reporting that the filmmaker behind the rebooted Star Trek franchise is close to sealing a deal to direct Disney’s Star Wars Episode 7 , which means he will boldly go to a galaxy far far away very shortly. Abrams office wasn’t commenting on the story when I called, but if the deal is indeed finalized, it will be interesting to see how fan boys for whom Star Wars vs. Star Trek is the equivalent of Beatles vs. Stones, and Paramount, the studio behind, Star Trek Into Darkness , will react to the story. As Indiewire’s Kevin Jagernauth astutely pointed out, “we can’t [imagine] the studio being thrilled that press rounds for Star Trek Into Darkness will essentially become non-stop questions about Star Wars: Episode 7 unless that subject is strictly taken off the table (not that people still won’t try anyway). Moreover, one wonders if we can ever live in a galaxy where nerds will be happy with the same director shephereding both Star Wars and Star Trek . Then again, Abrams has done a very smart job of revitalizing the Star Trek franchise, and making it relevant to a much broader audience than the Trekkie contingent. At the same time, he’s shown respect to die-hard fans by (mostly) respecting the canon. (I was always a Star Wars guy, and he’s got me hooked on this whole who-is-Benedict-Cumberbatch thing.) Star Wars could benefit from a similar update. If Abrams and Bad Robot do take on the Force and the Dark Side, you can be sure there will be plenty of guessing games about the identity of the villains who will be plaguing the Jedi and Droids that populate the newest entry in the Star Wars saga. Reports are that producer Kathleen Kennedy convinced Abrams to take on the daunting job. She must be very good at persuasion. In November, Abrams told HollywoodLife that he wasn’t the right man for the job. “Look, Star Wars is one of my favorite movies of all time,” Abrams said adding: “I frankly feel that – I almost feel that, in a weird way, the opportunity for whomever it is to direct that movie, it comes with the burden of being that kind of iconic movie and series. I was never a big Star Trek fan growing up, so for me, working on ‘Star Trek’ didn’t have any of that, you know, almost fatal sacrilege, and so, I am looking forward more than anyone to the next iterations of ‘Star Wars,’ but I believe I will be going as a paying moviegoer!” More on Star Wars Episode 7: ‘Star Wars Episode 7’: Is The Force With The Ladies For A Change? Gene Rosen, a Connecticut good Samaritan who harbored six survivors of the Sandy Hook shooting, has become a target for “Truthers” accusing him of being a liar and/or actor. Yet another element of the Sandy Hook conspiracy , if you believe that sort of thing. How it come to be that an innocent bystander – some say hero – is now being harassed for it? On the morning of the infamous shooting, the Newtown, Conn., resident was feeding his cats when he discovered four terrified children hiding out in his driveway. They told Rosen their teacher was dead, and he listened to their chilling account of the tragedy that was still going on at the nearby Sandy Hook Elementary School. Rosen, 69, was subsequently interviewed by many of the media outlets that descended on the small community, his anguished face flashed across TV screens around the world. The sincerity of that anguish has since come into question by a group of Sandy Hook conspiracy theorists who call themselves “Truthers” and have made his life difficult. These individuals have so far posted Rosen’s personal info online, created fake social media accounts using his name and harassed the Newtown resident via email and phone. “I don’t know what to do,” retired psychologist Rosen told Salon . “There must be some way to morally shame these people, because there were 20 dead children lying there, an eighth of a mile from my window.” “I thought of an expression, that this ‘adds insult to injury,’ but that’s a stupid expression, because this is not an injury, this is an abomination.” Unfortunately for Rosen, it is an abomination that has gained traction. Websites have questioned Rosen’s motives for sharing his story, even suggesting that he made an “audition” tape and accusing him of “pedo under-tones.” A YouTube video suggests Rosen is a actually Screen Actors Guild thespian, and that “The only thing consistent about this clown’s act, is all the fake crying.” “The man has never shed an actual tear in a dozen interviews.” Yet another conspiracy theory blog calls Rosen a “bad crisis actor” who changes his story and focuses on the sound of Adam Lanza ‘s gunshots for political effect. His explanation for being so public about his experience? “I wanted to speak about the bravery of the children, and it kind of helped me work through this,” Rosen told Salon of his decision to give multiple interviews to the media. “I guess I kind of opened myself up to this.”
The analog days of rock and soul music in the 1960s and ’70s are going to be well-represented at the Sundance Film Festival . In addition to the premiere of Sound City , Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl’s documentary about the legendary Van Nuys, CA recording studio where Nirvana’s Nevermind and Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours were recorded, filmmaker Greg “Freddy” Camalier will be debuting Muscle Shoals , the story of the Alabama city and its FAME studios, which also holds an esteemed place in the annals of popular music. Camalier tells the story of FAME Studios founder Rick Hall and the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section — dubbed the Swampers by singer/songwriter Leon Russell — who were the architects of the Muscle Shoals sound epitomized, according to Rolling Stone writer David Fricke by the Staple Singers’ “I’ll Take You There.” The Swampers, who were also immortalized in Lynyrd Skynyrd’s rock classic “Sweet Home Alabama,” ended up leaving FAME to start their own studio, which is covered in Camalier’s film, as well as all of the enduring music that was created in Muscle Shoals, including the Rolling Stones’ “Brown Sugar,” Percy Sledge’s “When A Man Loves A Woman,” Paul Simon’s “Kodachrome,” Jimmy Cliff’s “Sitting in Limbo” and Skynyrd’s air-guitar staple, “Freebird.” Check out the trailer below, which includes appearances by Steve Winwood, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards , Cliff and U2’s Bono: RELATED: WATCH: ‘Sound City’ Trailer Offers Glimpse Of Dave Grohl’s Love Letter To Rock ‘N’ Roll’s Pre-Digital Era Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter. Complex is releasing 7 different covers for the Feb/March issue….of Rihanna…. Some may call that overkill, because what magazine needs 7 covers in one issue…I mean how can the magazine racks support that….while others may be asking…”do magazine rackes still exist”….I guess when they are as awesome as Complex they do…and here they are showing us what makes a magazine a fucking magazine…but I could just be overly excited cuz I can see her nipples…but I may just think she’s lovely cuz she’s sympathizes with her abuser…and that’s the best kind of girl…one who learned her fucking lesson…I’m joking… I am not that I am convinced she was even abused…because if she was…Chris Brown woulda been blacklisted and Rihanna would never be seen with him no matter how damaged or in love she was… Either way, she’s a bad influence on her teen fans…and that’s all that really matters.
