Last year, a 19-year-old named Aussie Olivia Sturgiss gained instant fame when Instagram users flipped over her uncanny resemblance to Taylor Swift. Even Taylor herself acknowledged that the girl was her veritable doppelganger. The singer met Olivia backstage at a concert in Melbourne, Australia and snapped a photo with her (above). Now it seems Olivia may be trying to cash in on her lucky DNA by launching a show in which she impersonates her idol, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry . Olivia recently appeared on Aussie television’s Channel Ten’s The Project and was told by host Tommy Little that should could easily get rich just by showing up in front of audiences looking like Taylor. Little brought the idea to publicist Max Markson, who agreed to produce the “Taylor Swift Show.” Markson predicted that by doing a show four nights a week, Olivia could earn $5,000 a night or $1 million per year. Little paraded Olivia around the Pitt Street Mall in Sydney, where she was reportedly stopped numerous times by fans thinking she was Taylor. “Yesterday I counted about six times. It’s usually like ‘You look like that lass on the tell love,’” said Olivia. Well, all sounds hunky dory down under for Olivia and Co. now, doesn’t it? But wait, there’s got to be a catch. According to CDL , Taylor is a money-grubbing behemoth who won’t take kindly to some lassie trying to make a quick buck off of her hard work. As proof, the site refers to Taylor’s battle with Apple Music , in which the singer threatened to withhold her “1989” album unless the streaming service agreed to pay the artists royalties. However, there’s a tremendous difference between a music giant trying to cheat artists out of royalties and a young woman doing a simple impersonation. Hell, there’s already a gazillion drag queens in blond wigs and sparkly gowns belting out off-key versions of “Bad Blood” around the globe, and I’m sure Taylor thinks it’s a hoot. Fuller House Promo The Tanners have been given an official move-in date, as the above teaser confirms that all 13 episodes of Fuller House will hit the streaming service on Friday, February 26. The spinoff will pick up with this beloved family 21 years after Full House went off the air, with Candace Cameron Bure starring again as D.J. Tanner Fuller. She is recently widowed and living in San Francisco with two familiar faces: Jodie Sweetin’s Stephanie Tanner and Andrea Barber’s Kimmy Gibbler. Joining these three adults under one roof will be four kids: Gibbler’s teenage daughter Ramona, and D.J.’s trio of children: rebellious 12-year-old Jackson; neurotic 7-year-old Max; her newborn baby, Tommy Jr. We can also look forward to guest appearances by John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), Lori Loughlin (Becky Katsopolis) and Scott Weinger (Steve Hale). Georgia Man Threatens To Murder Porn Star On Live Streaming Periscope App The cowardly terrorist used the name “Joe Cook” when he made his threats against the freaky flick pro stating he was going to “open fire on Malena Morgan” just like WDBJ reporters Alison Parker and Adam Ward. Via NYDailyNews The 25-year-old suspect emailed Morgan as well, threatening “when you walk out of your house and see me it will be to late,” and “you’re next periscope will be your bloody head on a stick bank on it b—-,” the newspaper reported. Blankenship also wrote “I hope you have protection … I have a 9mm and a shotgun your dead b—- and you won’t see me coming,” and “periscope you’re undoing it’s raw and I will take my own life after you’ve life is gone,” in emails obtained by the paper. Malena took the threats to authorities and they tracked down “Joe Cook” and gifted him some brand new stainless steel bracelets. Not only was Blankenship ready to bust a cap inside a porn star, he also held murderous contempt for his family according to his mother. Netflix Makes Netflix And Chill Button That Dims Lights Netflix & chill is always a good idea but the good people at Netflix just made that special night even more easier! Via Engadget : At the 2015 World Maker Faire this weekend, the company unveiled its prototype and instructions for a big button that it calls “The Switch.” When you hit it, The Switch dims the lights, activates your phone’s Do Not Disturb feature and gets Netflix ready for the streaming ahead. Think of it as a Netflix and Chill button, but with maybe less Chill. The Netflix Switch is powered by a Particle Core, an Arduino-compatible development kit that features on-board WiFi. There’s also a battery, a bunch of LEDs and an IR transmitter that mimics the IR signal found on Netflix-compatible TVs. Netflix lists everything you need (including Philips’ Hue lighting system), but you’ll want to have a basic understanding of electronics, web servers and how APIs work before getting started. If the project is a little out of your reach, the good news is that Netflix is taking proposals for its next build. Just head over to the “Make It” site and share your suggestion in the relevant box.
