Yesterday, we reported that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are back together after the couple was spotted making out on the American Idol set in plain view of dozens of cast and crew members. The semi-public confirmation that they’re back on came after months of speculation and rumors about Cassie and J-Lo meeting up for secret rendezvous. Now it seems there was no real reconciliation, after all – because Jen and Casper never really broke up. TMZ is reporting that the couple faked their breakup for publicity purposes. Apparently, in the months leading up to the release of Jen’s most latest movie, The Boy Next Door, the studio hoped to sell more tickets by spreading rumors about Lopez dating Ryan Guzman  – her co-star in the film. For his part, Casper was apparently starring in a UFC-themed flick called Street (We’ve never heard of it, either.) and producers thought he would be a bigger box office draw if he appeared to be single. So does this mean there’s no truth to the rumors about Casper cheating with Sofia Vissa ? Robert Durst Connected to Another Disappearance; Ex-Girlfriend Reveals Pattern of Bizarre Behavior

It’s been nearly two weeks since Robert Durst was arrested for the murder of Susan Berman, but new stories of his bizarre and – in some cases – highly suspicious behavior continue to emerge daily. Last week, we learned that Durst may have practiced killing by slaughtering his own pet dogs.  Shortly thereafter, the judge who presided over the real estate heir’s 2003 murder trial revealed that she believes Durst left a cat’s head on her doorstep after he’d been found not guilty.  Of course, these allegations are nothing compared to the atrocities that Durst is accused of committing against humans. He’s been a person of interest in no fewer than three murder investigations, and now police are investigating a possible link between Durst and a fourth disappearance – this one more than 40 years old. In 1971, Durst and his then-girlfriend Kathleen McCormack (whom Durst was later suspected of murdering) owned a health food store in the town of Middlebury, Vermont. That same year, an 18-year-old college freshman named Lynn Schulze disappeared. The case has never been solved, and state police say that in 2012, a tipster informed them that Durst may have been involved in the Schulze case. Middlebury Police Chief Tom Hanley told reporters today that he is not yet ready to call Durst a suspect, but the 71-year-old possible triple-murderer is being investigated. In other Durst news, a woman named Linda Walker Zevallos says that she dated Durst briefly in 2000, and things quickly turned sour. Not surprisingly, she reports that the relationship didn’t last long due to Durst’s bizarre and often frightening behavior. Zevallos says she began to grow concerned the first time she visited Durst’s sparsely-furnished apartment and saw that he kept a large saw in the living room. The final straw came when Durst drove Zevallos and her 13-year-old son, Matthew, to dinner one night. “He said, ‘Oh, I forgot. I’ve got two guns in the backseat. So Michael, don’t touch the guns,'” Zevallos recalls. “I was absolutely shocked.” Durst is currently in prison in Louisiana, awaiting trial on the Berman murder and a variety of other charges. 17 Celebrities Who May Have Killed People 1. Robert Durst Left Cat’s Head On Judge’s Doorstep, Victim Claims

The strange case of Robert Durst continues to get more bizarre by the day. On March 14, Durst was arrested in connection with the 2001 death of his friend Susan Berman. He has since been charged with first-degree murder , meaning that he could face the death penalty if convicted. In the days following his arrest, those who knew Durst best  – or simply encountered him during the decades-long period in which he somehow managed to avoid prosecution – have come forward with strange stories of the real estate heir’s troubling behavior. Earlier this week, Douglas Durst stated that he believes his brother killed seven pet dogs as “practice” before allegedly murdering his wife Kathleen McCormack in 1982. Today, Durst has been accused of another disturbing act of animal mutilation by the former judge who presided over the 2003 trial in which Durst was acquitted of the murder of Morris Black. In an interview with the New York Daily News, Susan Criss recalls making a horrific discovery outside of her home, three years after Durst’s trial concluded. “It was June 29, 2006,” Criss tells the newspaper. “I came home from work around 5 pm, and you can imagine how hot it was. I saw something on the walk that leads straight to my front door. “It was a little gray cat that had been cut behind the shoulders. It was a head with its two front legs…It was not just thrown there, it was placed there. “I believe it was Robert Durst. I know this guy had a history of cutting up his dogs.” Criss says she first ran inside to make sure that Durst had not harmed her dogs. She then called local police, who performed several tests, but were unable to prove that Durst had killed the cat. Criss says she believes Durst left the head as revenge for her testifying against him at his parole hearing. Jill Blackstone, Veteran Talk Show Producer, Arrested For Sister’s Murder, Later Released

Veteran TV producer Jill Blackstone is under investigation stemming from the death of her sister, Wendy Blackstone, last weekend, according to police. At first, Wendy appeared to have died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning from a gas grill, but police believe the death scene may have been staged. Jill Blackstone is under investigation based a number of factors … Paramedics found Wendy Blackstone on the floor of the garage of the home where she and Jill lived. There was a grill in the garage, and ash in the grill. Wendy Blackstone, who was deaf and partially blind, was holding a handwritten suicide note … which the police strongly believe was written by Jill. The grill’s unusual placement at Wendy’s feet contributed to the investigators’ suspicion that it was a murder, and not suicide, that they had encountered. Jill was arrested for murder, but released last night after D.A. sent the case back to the police for further investigation. So she’s not out of the woods yet. She told paramedics she also passed out, but regained consciousness enough to ask a friend for help. That friend called 911 out of concern for Jill. The friend believed had suffered a stroke because her speech was slurred, and Jill had to be hospitalized for two days with carbon monoxide poisoning. She was arrested after her release Monday, then cut loose Wednesday. Wendy’s cause of death has yet to be released, pending toxicology results. The 52-year-old Jill Blackstone has produced numerous television shows, including the Rosie O’Donnell Show and the Sally Jessy Raphael Show . Shots Fired At Houston Party With Chris Brown Is there a target on Breezy’s back? For the second time in the past three months, shots were fired off where Chris Brown was making appearance. According to KRPC Houston , Chris was attending J. Prince Jr.’s birthday block party at Houston’s 5th Ward. Apparently Chris’s appearance , along with that of Tyga & Meek Mill, were surprises to the crowd in attendance. The VIPs all partied on a local rooftop while partygoers filled the street below: But as the rappers and partygoers began spreading the word on social media, more and more people showed up to the club. Police said they were called to the party to provide crowd control around 7:30 p.m. Gunfire blasted at around 9:30 p.m., with a 22-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy getting hit in the process. One victim is listed as in serious condition, while the other is in stable condition. The Houston Police Department is still looking for the shooter and accepting any tips and information. Police report to be sure that many people directly witnessed the shooting, but few people are talking. How does Chris keep stumbling into the line of fire like this? SMH.

Florida Man Beats Woman When She Refuses To Give Sex As Payment For Fast Food Why has Mickey D’s got people going so hard these days? Via WEDR : A West Palm Beach man is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail after he allegedly beat a woman who refused to have sex with him after he bought her breakfast at McDonald’s. Justin Jarrard Oliver is facing charges of felony battery and false imprisonment. Oliver, 26, is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail. The woman told West Palm Beach police that she and her boyfriend picked up Oliver in her car Wednesday morning then drove to the McDonald’s on 45th Street west of Australian Avenue. The trio placed made their order and Oliver paid the tab, according to an arrest report. Oliver then “demanded sex from (the victim) due to him buying her McDonald’s food,” the report said. As the woman was driving, Oliver allegedly “grabbed her by the arm/hand and attempted to pull her into the rear seat for sex,” according to the report. The woman screamed and held on to the steering wheel before bringing the car to an abrupt stop on 35th Street near Broadway. Once the vehicle stopped, Oliver jumped out and tried to pull the victim out of the car while again demanding sex, the report said. Oliver allegedly punched the woman with his fist, causing “severe injuries” that included a 1 1/2-inch laceration above her left eye and numerous other cuts and abrasions, the report said. The woman’s boyfriend jumped on Oliver’s back, allowing the woman to move the car a short distance away. The boyfriend then got back in the car and the woman drove to St. Mary’s Medical Center. The hospital staff alerted police. He bought homeboy’s food too…does he owe him sexual favors as well?? SMH. PalmBeachPost

‘Black Women Film Summit’ Photos The inaugural Black Women Film Summit recently took place in Atlanta and brought together an astute and esteemed group of women celebrating their contributions to cinema. The Summit kicked off with a screening of Centric’s “Single Ladies” at Spelman College’s Cosby Auditorium Thursday hosted by Stacii Jae and Lamman Rucker that was attended by the cast of “Sorority Sisters”…. and the next day was the highly-anticipated “Untold Stories Luncheon,” which honored the achievements of casting director Robi Reed, 135th Street Agency founder Shante Bacon, Black Women Film Network Chairman Emeritus Tomika DePriest, Georgia Film &  TV Sourcebook publisher Tia Powell and film producer Will Packer who posed with Kandi Burruss. Tawanna Easley, Dominique Boyd and Erica Lamberson, young filmmakers and straight-A students, were also in attendance and awarded scholarships to further their careers in film…   and the next day the Summit closed with independent film screenings and a performance from “Empire’s” V. Bozeman.   Top honors were given to projects from female directors Laila Petrone, Spelman grad Brittany Fennell, Kiandra Parks, Kimberly Townes and LaShunda Smith. Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson’s return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills seems all but certain next year, provided the daytime divas are interested. The soap opera stars, who were friends before joining the Bravo show, have brought much-needed drama and ratings to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Season 5 isn’t even finished airing yet, but producers are ready to ask the dymanic duo to return for another round next season, according to reports. “Producers of the show are very, very happy with Lisa and Eileen’s performances in front of the camera,” an insider said. “They balanced each other out.” “Lisa is a bit more aggressive, with a no-frills, take-no-prisoners attitude.” Eileen, by contrast, “is refined, elegant and all class, which made her scenes with Kim Richards even stronger because she did snap a couple of times.” Indeed, Davidson’s scenes with the original cast member, and of course the Lisa Rinna-Kim Richards fight , proved to be just what the series needed … The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: EPIC FIGHT! “Before the ladies joined the cast, there were serious doubts about whether or not the show would proceed,” an insider revealed to Radar Online . “It had just reached the point where Bravo was just going to cut it, but everyone is so glad that didn’t happen.
