Rihanna performed in Paris Wednesday, and is making headlines once again – and not for falling on stage or for a mystery hospitalization this time. The star, who recently started dating Matt Kemp , may be apart from her L.A. Dodger beau, but gives him plenty of pictures from the road at least. The Fallout From the South Park Death Threat

Over the past two weeks, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have been riding out the 200th episode celebration from hell. What started out as a milestone for the Comedy Central series led to death threats from a radical Islamic website. On top of that, their most recent episode , which included a lengthy response to the hype via a brave speech about fear, was completely bleeped out in a defensive effort by Comedy Central . In effect, Parker and Stone found themselves the subject of the very censorship they ridiculed earlier this season. So now what happens?

Though he enjoyed a steady gig on Lost during the show’s initial, hugely popular first season, Ian Somerhalder didn’t land any magazine features until the fall of 2009. That’s when The Vampire Diaries premiered on The CW and Somerhalder found himself the subject of cat calls and screams typically reserved for Taylor Lautner or Robert Pattinson . “The decibel level at which a 13-year-old can explain how much she loves you – it’s the coolest thing ever,” the actor says in the latest issue of GQ . Doors Keyboardist Ray Manzarek on New Doc, Old Influences and Oliver Stone’s Folly

Welcome back to Moment of Truth, Movieline’s weekly spotlight on the best in nonfiction cinema. This week, we hear from Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek about the band’s new documentary When You’re Strange , which opens Friday in limited release. For a rock band whose filmed legacy includes at least a dozen concert and video compilations — not to mention a full-scale Hollywood biopic — it’s not just a little bizarre that The Doors were never the subject of a feature documentary until now. Enter When You’re Strange , director Tom DiCillo’s fairly straightforward doc (narrated by Johnny Depp) interweaving archival performance and interview footage with extended, never-before-seen footage of late vocalist Jim Morrison’s own experimental film, HWY : An American Pastoral . Some of it looks like it was shot yesterday, reinforcing Morrison’s enduring mythology as a half-martyr, half-ghost whose mission is carried forward here by surviving members Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore. In a candid, freewheeling discussion recently with Movieline, Manzarek explained the film’s mission, the Doors’ cinematic influences, Oliver Stone’s blundering and how making a movie is like “World War III. ”

Tracy Morgan’s Feud with Stedman, and 6 Other Factoids About the 30 Rock Star

For today’s “Funny People”-themed episode of Oprah , the media empress wrangled three NBC comedians into her studio to make her audience laugh. Tina Fey and Steve Carell entertained the studio by talking about licking stripper poles and humping stages on the set of Date Night (which Oprah endorsed as “laugh-out-loud funny!”). Then the next comedian, Tracy Morgan, took the stage. Only instead of just sharing some knee slappers, the 30 Rock star got gritty when Oprah revealed a school picture of Morgan at the age of six. “Awwwww,” the studio audience cooed. “Yeah,” responded Morgan, “that’s the year my dad left me!” And that was only first bit of knowledge dropped on audience members — the rest, including the subject that made Morgan tear up instantly, after the jump.

Jason Wahler Sprung From Mexican Jail Cell, Then Arrested Again For DUI Back in the U.S.

DMX had better watch his back. Former Laguna Beach and Hills star Jason Wahler was arrested last week for allegedly driving under the influence, having just been sprung from jail in Mexico! Newport Beach, Calif., police say Wahler was nabbed for driving a 2008 Chevy Tahoe while intoxicated. Hilariously, he described himself to police as “an actor.” He was released under his own recognizance. You may recall Wahler was arrested in Cabo San Lucas , Mexico and held there earlier this month after a bar fight. As for how he got back to the U.S., that remains shrouded in mystery. The U.S. Consulate is, for whatever reason, kept the reason for his release on the DL. Until he gets arrested, we always forget about him too . Jason Wahler was cuffed a week ago Thursday and thrown in the slammer after getting in a fight, yet no record of Jason was found during calls to various jails. The Consulate says he was released seven hours after being locked up after the ex of Lauren Conrad signed a document keeping the terms of his release secret. Who knew you could even do that, it’s news to us, and You have to wonder what he did to secure his release. You gotta love Mexico. According to Wahler’s father, no charges were filed against his son in Mexico. As for the Newport Beach DUI, he’s not likely to be let off with any secret bribe.

Katherine Heigl Barely Avoids Fashion Disaster

Chalk this one up for celebrity gossip . Stars often treat tabloids and entertainment news coverage with disdain, but Katherine Heigl was thankful for a particular Access Hollywood personality last week. As she was accepting the honor of Female Star of the Year at the ShoWest Awards, Heigl’s dress literally fell apart. Luckily, Billy Bush graciously came to the rescue . Holding her shoulder strap in place, Bush did Heigl a major solid. Guys everywhere probably wished he weren’t present, however. Thisclose, fellas. Thisfrickinclose . Katherine Heigl nearly gives the performance of a lifetime. Thanks to Bush, Heigl, whose exit from Grey’s Anatomy was recently announced, didn’t make a similar departure from her clothing. Billy later Tweeted: “Oh my, hosting showest awards in LV. Heigl comes up to get award, dress strap breaks… I hold her top on while she accepts!” Summed up rather succinctly. Heigl’s bare shoulder wasn’t all she displayed at the Las Vegas gala. The star also showed off her new hairdo: The famously blonde actress is now brunette. Ogling Britney Spears: A Time-Honored Pastime

Britney Spears was pretty messed up in the head at one point. Having been a star her entire adult life, the various demands and pressures just got to her. We’re beginning to understand why. Having gone back to blonde , the bombshell stopped at a local 76 gas station to grab an orange soda and a fellow petroleum consumer couldn’t help herself. Wow. Way to be subtle, lady. Sure you couldn’t swoop in for a hug while you’re at it? Nice to see that Britney has again determined that bras are optional … Britney Spears: Gas station chic. [Photos: Fame Pictures; Some chick] No word if Jason Trawick , Britney’s boyfriend and agent, who has been the subject of many breakup rumors over the last few weeks, was there to witness this. Either way, a shameless amateur photographer clearly was … as was a professional photographer, taking a picture of the amateur. At least the latter got paid.
