Happy 50th Birthday, Johnny Depp!

Johnny Depp hits the half-century mark today. One of Hollywood’s favorite actors for years, the Kentucky native is showing no signs of slowing down as he enters his sixth decade on this ninth of June. A critical and fan favorite, he was 2012’s highest-paid actor while winning Best Actor at the Golden Globes for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street . He also claimed the SAG Award for Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl , and can be seen this summer with Armie Hammer in The Lone Ranger . Not bad for a 50-year-old. He’s also reportedly dating Amber Heard , his gorgeous Rum Diary co-star, after both thespians ended their respective, long-term relationships last year. Between Depp, Brad Pitt (49), Tom Cruise (50) and George Clooney (52), it’s looks like 50 is the new 30 for Hollywood leading men these days. Happy birthday Johnny!

Miley Cyrus’ Brother Makes Modeling Debut

It’s unclear whether or not he can be tamed, but let there be no doubt: Braison Cyrus is now a professional model. The 18-year old brother of Miley Cyrus makes his modeling debut in the latest issue of Troix, covering the magazine with an especially seductive look. Of course, it’s nothing compared to his sister’s recent photo shoot . Braison signed with Wilhelmina Model in November, but this spread marks his first editorial spread. The issue if dubbed the “Boys of Summer” and also features Tyler Posey, Nat Wolff and Gregg Sulkin. In other words: female readers, we understand if you sign off right now and go pick up a copy.

With focus squarely on the Kate Middleton baby due this summer, it’s easy to lose track of the influence this beauty has in the world of makeup and fashion. But a new study by Feel Unique is here to remind us: According to the poll, 30 percent of British women are likely to purchase a product used by the Duchess, more than double the amount of confidence given to any other woman in the survey. Kate Moss finished second with just 15 percent, while Victoria Beckham, Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian rounded out the top five. The latter was the top finishing American.
