The Migos rapper posted a video begging for Cardi B to forgive him for how he previously treated her and pleads to have his family back. Offset is determined to spend the holidays as a family with Cardi and their beautiful daughter Kulture. He mentions that in the apology video below. He also appeared to come clean about the alleged affair & attempted threesome with Cuban Doll and Summer Bunny, but wanted it to be clear that “I didn’t f*** that girl I was entertaining.” Its been a full week since Cardi took to Instagram to declare that the couple was finished, but it still remains to be seen if she grants him his birthday wish.
Taylor Swift turned 29 years old on Thursday, December 13. Happy birthday, girl! And a new report says that she can expect a whopper of a post-birthday present any day now from boyfriend Joe Alwyn . Joe is apparently very eager to propose to her. So romantic! Us Weekly reports that Taylor Swift could get a proposal any day now from her British boyfriend. “Joe is very keen on proposing soon,” an insider reveals. We sure hope that this isn’t spoiling any surprises that he might have in store for Taylor! “But,” the source says. “He wants to make it unforgettable.” “And,” the insider continues, Joe wants to make it “extremely special.” We should hope so — there’s only one Taylor Swift. You don’t want a less-than-stellar proposal. But apparently he shouldn’t be too worried. The key to proposing to Taylor may simply be to, well, be his charming self. “He’s her dream guy,” the source gushes. She’s dated some of the hottest and most famous dudes on the planet. But it looks like she and Joe just clic k. So whatever he has planned, it sounds like Taylor’s answer is expected to be in the affirmative. According to the insider’s prediction: “Taylor’s going to be over the moon.” Part of Joe’s appeal as a boyfriend — and perhaps, as a future fiance or even spouse — is that he’s comfortable in Taylor’s shadow. “She can be herself and be open,” the source explains. You won't believe this… … but we have a new beauty pageant controversy. In viral footage featured here, Sarah Rose Summers — the 24-year old Nebraska native who won Miss USA in May — is seen calling attention to fellow Miss Universe contestants Miss Cambodia (Rern Sinat) and Miss Vietnam (H'Hen Nie). “What do you think of Miss Vietnam Nie?” Summers asks the women in the video. “She's so cute and she pretends to know so much English and then you ask her a question after having a whole conversation with her and she goes [nods and smiles],” Summers said prior to laughing. “She's adorable.” After Miss Colombia asks her “how?” Summers does the imitation again. Then, in another clip, Summers takes aim at Miss Cambodia for not also speaking English. “Miss Cambodia is here and doesn't speak any English and not a single other person speaks her language. Can you imagine?” she asks, adding: “Francesca said that would be so isolating and I said yes and just confusing all the time.” Summer does come across a little more sympathetic here, but it's a pretty terrible look all around to be SO dumbfounded that non-U.S. citizens don't speak English. In response to the immediate backlash over this video, Summers said on Instagram just now: “In a moment where I intended to admire the courage of a few of my sisters, I said something that I now realize can be perceived as not respectful, and I apologize.” She added that she would be “grateful” for an opportunity to discuss the issue with Miss Cambodia and Miss Vietnam. B lack students across the country are continuing to display excellence in the realm of academia. According to the Journal of Blacks in Higher Education , three African-American students were selected as 2019 Rhodes Scholars. They were picked from a pool of nearly 3,000 applicants. Amongst the Black students who received the honor are Lia Petrose , a University of Pittsburgh alumna who studied economics and neuroscience and minored in chemistry, University of Pennsylvania senior Anea B. Moore who is studying law and Africana studies, and Austin T. Hughes from the University of Iowa who is currently majoring in theatre arts, creative writing and literature and Japanese linguistics. All three students have used their knowledge to make an impact in their local communities and beyond. Petrose led a research project in Malawi surrounding the economics of health information systems, Moore has explored how race, class, and gentrification are intertwined through her research, and Hughes has received several awards for his creative writing. “This year’s American Rhodes Scholars—independently elected by 16 committees around the country meeting simultaneously—once again reflect the extraordinary diversity that characterizes the United States,” said Elliot F. Gerson , American Secretary of the Rhodes Trust, in a statement . “These Scholars plan to study a wide range of fields across the social sciences, biological and medical sciences, physical sciences and mathematics, and the humanities. They are certain to enrich our future.” The Rhodes Trust has come a long way when it comes to the representation of Black scholars. According to the news outlet, the first African-American to receive a scholarship was philosopher Alain LeRoy Locke in 1907. In 2017, 10 Black students were named Rhodes scholars. T he hit late-80s sitcom A Different World was instrumental in shaping the narrative surrounding Black students and higher education. The cast of the show recently paid it forward by presenting a $100,000 check from Ford to an HBCU, Ebony reported. The initiative was launched as an avenue to empower Black students to further their education and strengthen programs at historically Black colleges and universities across the country. Amongst the cast members who presented the check were Cree Summer , Jasmine Guy , Darryl Bell , and Kadeem Hardison . The actors discussed the Black experience at colleges and universities throughout the country and spoke about the influence of their show. “I loved the diversity of the cast. Usually, actors are the Black person on a show [as in there’s only one type of black person] and it’s very hard to represent everything about Black people in one person,” said Guy, according to the news outlet. “We had different classes, different colorings, different backgrounds, different aspirations and that’s one thing I loved about A Different World . It showed the true spirit about what being Black is, and that it is diverse within itself.” Bell added that the show was powerful in sparking important conversations surrounding the Black community as the storylines addressed social and political issues. “No matter what topic was discussed, it wasn’t a monolithic response; it was something that was always challenging and relevant, it was important and we managed to be funny while we did it! That’s why I think it lasted so long and stayed evergreen,” he said. Several celebrities have shown their support for HBCUs this year. In July, Beyoncé awarded eight HBCU students with scholarships. Source: Steve Granitz / Getty Offset’s Alleged Mistress Drops Song Explaining The Affair According to The Blast , Summer Bunni (the woman at the center of the Offset/Cardi B cheating scandal) is releasing a song she says she wrote during the affair. SB claims she penned “Don’t Matter” over the summer when she first started experiencing “mixed feelings” about Offset after he left her feeling neglected during their short fling. After news broke that Cardi B & Offset were splitting, text messages went viral appearing to show Offset trying to organize a ménage à trois with Bunni and Cuban Doll . This allegedly left Bunni mortified that she has been labeled as a “homewrecker” and says she “never intended to be a catalyst for rapper’s split” because “I really thought he and I were for real.” Summer begins “Don’t Matter” by singing “I’m sick of you, I guess my feelings don’t matter.” She goes on to suggest Offset might have been dishonest with her as well: “You didn’t mean it huh / What you say / You stay lying n***a straight to my face.” However, with lyrics like, “F**k the gossip f**k the tea / I’m the one that you really need.” Go to the next page to see all of the lyrics of “Don’t Matter” as she explains how their relationship played out:
Earlier this week, we reported on the surprising news that Jon Gosselin had been granted custody of his con Collin after Kate Gosselin failed to show up for a hearing. Some took Kate’s absence as a sign that she’s throwing in the towel following a years-long court battle with her ex-husband. But those who have been following Kate closely throughout this ordeal will not be surprised to learn that the famously combative reality star has no intention of giving up the fight. In fact, it seems the only reason Kate wasn’t present in court is that she knew in advance that she had no shot at winning. This news comes to us courtesy of Radar Online, who reports today that the judge in Jon and Kate’s case has become fed up with the increasing nastiness between the exes and has taken a major step toward making the process run more smoothly. Radar reports that a guardian has been appointed to advocate for the couple’s eight children. The ad litem guardian has been described as “a high-profile female attorney” who is apparently not terribly sympathetic to Kate’s argument that Jon is a DJ and should thus never be allowed in the presence of children. (We kid, obviously, but that would be more compelling than some of Kate’s actual arguments.) The ad litem has reportedly been involved in the custody battle since August of 2017 and had previously awarded custody of Hannah Gosselin to Jon . “Once an ad litem was assigned, the judge ruled both Hannah and Collin should be in the custody of Jon,” a source close to the case tells Radar. Hannah moved in with Jon over the summer, a fact that he boasted about in a video posted on social media. “She permanently lives with me,” Jon told the camera. The other six Gosselin children continue to live with Kate. Sources familiar with the case say that Jon’s ultimate goal is to attain full physical custody of all eight of his children. Kate, of course, will continue to fight him on that front, while the rest of will continue to wonder how one supports eight kids on a DJ’s salary.

Cuban Doll is saying that she’s talked to Cardi B about the cheating scandal involving her name with Offset’s, and the two have completely cleared the air. The 20-year-old talked to TMZ about the situation, saying, “Cardi hit me up, she knows I have nothing to do with that.” These rumors of infidelity center around a rumored threesome with Offset, Cuban Doll, and her former friend Summer Bunni. But now, Cuban Doll says she’s never spoken to or met the Migos rapper. “I don’t know him. I never spoke to him. I never had no conversation with him,” she insists. “I’m just caught in the middle.” This wasn’t her first time addressing these rumors following a text conversation between Offset and Summer Bunni being leaked. Doll denied the rumors yesterday via Twitter writing, “I never went to new or lean leave me alone !” I never went to new or lean leave me alone ! — Cuban da savage (@CubanDaSavage) December 6, 2018 She also clarified with the publication that she believes the entire situation is simply a ploy for attention. “It’s all based off her trying to get clout.
