Summer Bunni understands why Cardi B may be hopping mad at her right now. The heretofore unknown Instagram model totally gets why it wasn’t cool for Offset to stick his carrot into her hole, but she wants to at least reach out to Cardi and try to make things right. First, a quick refresher: Cardi B announced on Tuesday night that she had split from Offset , her baby daddy and her husband of about a year. She said the couple simply fell out of love and would remain business partners and friends and sounded very calm and collected about the whole thing. About 24 hours later, however, TMZ obtained text messages seemingly sent from Offset to the aforementioned Summer Bunni . As you can see below, it’s pretty clear Offset is trying to arrange for a threesome between Bunni and a rapper named Cuban Doll. The exchange allegedly took place in June, just a few weeks before Cardi gave birth to a daughter named Kulture. To back up the legitmacy of this text exchange, TMZ also published the following FaceTime photo of Offset, which was sent to them by a rival of Cuban Doll who wanted to out her role in this unethical mess. It doesn’t pain Offset in a very positive light. Neither Cardi B nor Offset have commented on this threesome/cheating rumor. But Summer Bunni has taken to Instagram and also spoken to TMZ, acknowledging in both places that she definitely slept with Offset during his marriage to Cardi. “I have not messed with Offset since he had his baby. I didn’t know how serious his marriage was, you know … I feel ashamed,” she said through tears to TMZ, adding in this interview: “To Cardi B and to her fans and to her family and to her situation: “These were never my intentions and I never wanted to break up a happy home or be a cause of someone just saying, like, ’F—k it,’ to get a divorce or anything like that.” According to TMZ, Cardi was maybe a little upset after learning that Offset cheated on her. But she sort of expected it from him. What truly set her off, an insider claims, is that he wanted to have this threesome with Cuban Doll, a Latin rapper who some believe tries to copy Cardi’s style and appearance. She simply couldn’t handle that part of the sexual equation. Summer, meanwhile, says she has NOT reached out to Cardi, but does have a message for her: I would like her to know that I’m a very genuine person and I’m not here to break up her family, or mess up what she has going on with her husband and I’m very sorry that this has happened. I’m very sorry that I didn’t think about my worth as a young lady and I just hope that she can overcome this. I know that her and Offset actually do have love for each other; I can tell. So I just hope that, with this, she can just focus on her love for Offset. There was also the above message, shared to socia media by the Bun shortly after her name went viral for all the wrong reasons. It reads: Goodmorning, a quick letter to the fans, followers and social media outlets. During the last 48 hours, I haven’t enjoyed the social media frenzy. Not only is it draining but humbling. I will always be woman enough to admit when I’m wrong, and in this situation I was. Seeing another woman’s pain does not bring me joy, nor do I think it’s funny. I’ve always been for women supporting each other but in this situation not only myself but others have failed. I separated myself from certain situations and people for a reason. This is not a letter for sympathy but acknowledgement to everyone whom has questions. Going into 2019 focused and dedicated to becoming a better me. Thank y’all – Summer.
Lil Xan’s stage name might be inspired by his love of prescription medications, but it seems the death of several close friends has caused the rapper to realize that recreational pill-popping can have deadly consequences. According to TMZ, Xan (nee Diego Leanos) has announced plans to enter rehab in order to seek help for an addiction to opioids. It’s no coincidence that he reached the decision to enter treatment exactly one year after fellow emcee Lil Peep was found dead of an overdose. And sadly, at the age of 22, Leanos has been impacted by the opioid crisis multiple times. Rapper Mac Miller, who died of an overdose in September was a close friend and mentor of Xan’s. Leanos has stated that he decided to get sober not long after learning of Miller’s passing. He says he’s recently been hard at work on an album that he describes as a tribute to Miller. But apparently, Leanos realizes that his health needs to take priority over his work, as he announced today that he’ll be putting that project on hold in order to focus on getting sober: “I just dropped out of SoundCloud Uni to go to rehab, I leave in like 5 days and I couldn’t be happier with this choice,” Xan wrote on Instagram today. “I love you guys for being so supportive and can’t wait too get back clean headed ready to Finish my album!” The decision comes just days after Xan opened up about his ongoing substance abuse issues in an interview with TMZ: Lil Xan Talks Drugs “I relapsed, and that’s common … Any other addict would understand that sh-t just happens,” Leanos told the outlet. “You just relapse. You don’t want to. It’s a process. You need treatment and help, and sometimes that doesn’t even help.” Xan made it clear in recent interviews that while he is not as “strung out” as he’s been in the past, he has still not achieved the sobriety he aspires to: “I’m not completely clean. Off Xanax, yes, but I’m still weaning off Norcos [a brand of codeine-based painkiller],” he said. While fans have been supportive of Xan’s decision, many expressed hope that he would decide to check into rehab immediately, rather than waiting until next week. We wish him all the best as he embarks upon the long road to recovery. View Slideshow: 31 Celebrities Who Have Been to Rehab

Just weeks after ending her engagement to Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande dropped a new single , “Thank U, Next.” The powerful anthem, a tribute to her exes, is smashing music records. Its lyrics have also inspired November’s hottest meme. Billboard Woman of the Year Ariana Grande keeps setting new records only to surpass them. In recent days, she’s been doing it with the same song, as she shared on Instagram. “Thank u, next has surpassed 100 MILLION streams on spotify in only 11 days,” reads a graphic shared on social media. The graphic puts that in perspective: “it is the fastest song in HISTORY to reach this milestone.” Ariana shared the image with a very grateful black heart emoji in the captions. Keep in mind that that’s only her Spotify success. It doesn’t include people listening on YouTube — or pirating it. Her record-smashing feat doesn’t include people using other streaming services. It also doesn’t include those of us who eschew streaming music and instead immediately purchased it from iTunes or Amazon. Part of the appeal is that it’s a beautiful song. The song’s real meaning also contributed to its success. “Thank U, Next” is an anthem to Ariana’s exes — to three, in particular. Ariana had an 8-month relationship with Big Sean from 2014 to 2015. “Thought I’d end up with Sean / But he wasn’t a match,” Ariana sings. Starting in the summer of 2015, Ariana dated backup dancer Ricky Alvarez for about a year. “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh,” Ariana sings. Famously, Ariana got engaged to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, and broke things off in October. “Even almost got married / And for Pete, I’m so thankful,” Ariana’s lyrics affirm. On a sadder note, she dated Mac Miller for two years starting in 2016. He died just a few months ago. “Wish I could say, ‘Thank you’ to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel,” Ariana sings bittersweetly. “Thank U, Next” appeals to people as a song and as an athem. Some can relate in their own lives — they really appreciate their past loves and past relationships. Others are just Ariana Grande fans and love to hear how at peace she is with her romantic past. But it’s more than just a song, folks. It’s a meme. For ages now, social media has been filled with “one taught me love, one taught me patience, one taught me pain” posts. These posts, quoting lyrics from Ariana’s song, can do everything from critique three films or three characters or three condiments. Of course, Ariana’s release of this song such a short time after ending her relationship with Pete Davidson has fueled conspiracy theorists. There are people in the world who believes that all celebrity activities, from relationships to their art to overdoses and deaths, are a scripted facade. These are the same people who use words like “illuminati” and “Deep State” with total sincerity. So they think that for some unknowable reason, Ariana and Pete were “ordered” by, like, Beyonce or George Soros to get engaged, then split. According to this admittedly hilarious theory, Ariana had this song prepared and mixed for whenever they were ordered to break up. Why? Maybe, like, mind-control embedded in the song. It did release right before election day! Ariana being a talented and passionate musician with the resources to pull together a song quickly is apparently too simple of an explanation. There is a glaring omission from Ariana’s song — her ex Graham Phillips. They performed together on Broadway along with current Dynasty star Elizabeth Gillies. You might know Graham from The Good Wife or from his more recent appearance on Riverdale as a seriously awful dude. Our guess is that the fact that they dated in 2011, when Ariana was mostly just known as a Nickelodeon star, is a factor. Also, she probably just views Graham as a friend whom she once dated. There’s a difference between that and an “ex.” In case you were wondering if there was bad blood, we looked into it and found no evidence of hard feelings. In fact, they staged a mini-reunion this past summer with another former castmate. Ariana was probably right to narrow her scope of exes to a handful. Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise are back to back with it on today’s episode of Global Grind’s The Rewind . You already know how we do each and every week. The Rewind will break down some of the things you could have (and probably shouldn’t have) missed in the last week. We tell you what’s hot, what’s not and then give it a rating of 1-10. Never feel left at out the water cooler again now that you have The Rewind in your life. This week, Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise are talking about Teyana Taylor’s new track “Gonna Love Me (Remix)” which features Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan. Anyone who thinks this is an unlikely match up may want to familiarize themselves with the fact that Teyana also collaborated with Wu-Tang Clan last week to release a new Wu Tang inspired lipstick line with Milk Cosmetics. It’s a literal match made in Shaolin heaven but is “Gonna Love Me (Remix)” a smash or is it trash? “Gonna Love Me” originally appeared on Teyana Taylor’s Keep The Same Energy album which came out over the summer and was produced by Kanye West. Landon and Franchise have opposing views on the track. They both like it but one likes it a LOT more than another. You’ll have to tune in to The Rewind to figure out who wasn’t all that enthused by the new remix. This week we also discuss Tyler Perry’s new film, “Nobody’s Fool” which hit theaters on November 2nd. The movie is about a woman who is released from prison and reunites with her sister. It stars Tika Sumpter, Tiffany Haddish, Missi Pyle and Courtney Henggeler. Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise weighed in on the film and gave it a rating. The movie, which was Tyler Perry’s first R rated comedy, did $14 million worldwide with a $19 million budget. That’s not a lot but was it worth more? Franchise wasn’t a fan of the movie at all. He absolutely hated everything about it. Find out what Landon Levarius thought of the film and how both of our in-house critics rated the film over all. Check out this week’s episode of The Rewind up above!

Image via AAron Ontiveroz/The Denver Post via Getty Images Draymond Green Suspended For 1 Game For Cursing Out Kevin Durant “We supposed to be brothas!” goes the famous line in Menace II Society as a young man is being robbed at gunpoint for his Mustang and some fast food. Apparently, Draymond Green either didn’t see this film or didn’t take in the message, because Monday night in a game against the Clippers a mercurial Draymond was NOT treating Kevin Durant like his closest kin. He was treating him like a bi**h, or at least that what he was calling KD on the bench. A bi**h. A lot of ’em. And that was what happened ON the court. According to ESPN , here’s how it all started. Near the end of regulation, Draymond grabbed a rebound completely ignored a wide-open and hysterically clapping Kevin Durant who was calling for the ball in an attempt to win the game, and lost control of the ball before a shot could be taken. Both men were frustrated on the bench and Draymond unleashed one of his typical bratty tirades on KD. According to ESPN, things got even uglier back in the locker room after teammates chided Draymond for his poor decision. In defending himself, Draymond got loud and wrong. So loud and so wrong that people outside hear the commotion. Coach Steve Kerr did his best to tamp down the extent of the incident. “Draymond is always going to be who he is,” Kerr said. “Draymond is a powerful force. You guys know that. He’s a huge reason why we’ve had so much success here, and Draymond is going to continue playing the way he plays, and I don’t see him operating any other way.” Draymond is going to be who he is, abrasive, and KD is going to be who he is, sensitive and petty. These two might kiss and make up, but KD will not forget when it comes down to free agency this summer…
Source: Jeff Swensen / Getty Today is the day, Ladies and Gentlemen. Today is the day to exercise your right as an American and cast your vote which could potentially change the current state of the country. Midterm elections don’t usually get as much attention as they are this year — but that’s because there are some massive changes to be made in this nation , and it starts locally. When it comes to people of color, women and other minorities, this elections is our chance to shift the way America has been running itself for hundreds of years. A total of 34 Senate seats and all 435 seats in the House of Representatives will be up for grabs when we head to the polls today, which means it’s time to shake sh** up regarding Congress and Legislators. Folks are even calling this year the most important election in modern day U.S. History. Twitter User Brian Klass wrote : America’s character & trajectory will be decided today.Today is a referendum on Trumpism. In 2016, many people thought they’d roll the dice with someone who promised to “shake things up.” But now there are no excuses. We know who he is and what he represents. Now we either accelerate Trumpism or stop its forward progress. We’ve watched Cheetoh — er. Trump — disrespect and ostracize many people over the last two years, including African American women . That’s why it’s imperative that women as a whole, but specifically Black women, hit the polls today to change the narrative that has been placed on sistas. The NAACP tweeted, “This election is too important for any eligible voter of color to sit it out. Our lives are on the line, and it’s going to take all of us showing up to the voting booth to put America on the path of respecting our communities and our interests.” “You are not just the future, you are the present. Vote for what you believe in.” – @chadwickboseman . Young people, rise up! Vote November 6th. Our lives depend on it. #NAACP #Turnout18 #IWillVote pic.twitter.com/0gjMYgUMQu — NAACP (@NAACP) November 3, 2018 Let’s face it, voting can be tedious and boring. But like most boring things, it has to be done. So we’ve put together a playlist of songs that can help you through the process. OH and just in case you’re considering not casting a vote this year, think about what happened the last time you didn’t vote.
Source: Global Grind / Global Grind DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius are back with yet another weekly breakdown of The Rewind . In case you’ve been hiding under a rock or months, The Rewind is a weekly show that breaks down all of the things you may have missed in the last week. No matter the topic, our guys DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius are going to discuss it and then rate it from a 1-10. On this episode of The Rewind, we’re talking BlacKkKlansman . The film premiered in theaters on August 10th and is set to be released on DVD on November 6th. That’s right, election day! The Spike Lee joint, which was co-produced by Jordan Peele, stars John David Washington as Ron Stallworth, a black detective in Colorado Springs that goes undercover to not only infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan but also bring down the entire operation before they carry out a plot to harm hundreds of black people. The film did numbers at the box office. It has pulled over $85 million so far but did it really live up to all of the hype? Landon and Franchise give their opinion. For Landon, although the film is obviously about racism, he felt that the racism was very forced in the movie. If you’re sensitive to certain language, be advised that there will be a lot of racial slurs being thrown around in this film — this is the KKK, you know? Also, was accuracy an issue? Find out what Landon and DJ Franchise had to say about that. Then we discuss Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign’s collaboration project, MihTy . The two crooners came together for their release produced by Hitmaka. The project was released on October 26th and has been met with mixed reviews. Jeremih and Ty Dolla Sign have previously released singles in promotion of the album. Over the summer they dropped “The Light.” Then they dropped “Goin Thru Some Thangz” earlier in October. A few weeks later, they dropped “New Level”. What did DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius weigh in.
