Of course, fans made their opinions known on Twitter, but one song in particular is bringing the nostalgia and I’m not talking about 2008 “A Milli” feels. I’m talking way back to 2002 when G. Dep dropped his Bad Boy Records banger “Special Delivery.” Wayne sampled the song on the third track from The Carter V called “Uproar.” “Special Delivery” was released as a single from G. Dep’s debut album Child of the Ghetto. The music video was notable for featuring the popular dance The Harlem Shake. Kids from the clip showed off their shoulder action and soon a dance that was once known as a New York style was spread across the world. When listeners heard Lil Wayne’s “Uproar” they couldn’t help but take it back to the early 2000s. An #UproarChallenge even started gaining traction on social media. Just take it from @based_soc on Instagram. G. Dep had previously featured the dance in the music video for his debut single “Let’s Get It,” but with “Special Delivery” the moves were cemented in music culture. Artists were using the dance left and right for their music videos or performances, including Bow Wow for his 2002 music video “Take Ya Home.” Years later, The Harlem Shake would surge in popularity again, but unfortunately it was due to the electronic music producer Baauer , and the dance that came from his song had nothing to do with the moves from Harlem. The backlash from Harlem and people familiar with the original dance caused the media to revisit the history of the moves. According to DNAinfo.com , The Harlem Shake was created back in the 1980s by a Harlem resident named Albert Leopold Boyce a.k.a. “Al B.” According to his mom, Al B. would perform the dance at the Entertainer’s Basketball Classic tournament in Harlem’s Rucker Park. Ironically, Al B. had an alcohol problem, so his gyrating moves that would become known as The Harlem Shake probably had something to do with his public intoxication. Bill Cosby will very possibly spend the rest of his life in prison. The disgraced comedian was sentenced to three-10 years behind bars on Tuesday, following his conviction in April on charges of drugging and raping Andrea Constand in 2004. He will serve this time in state prison. Cosby is 81 years old, so you can do the math in terms of whether he ever lives again as a free man. But many people will say this is the justice he deserves after more than 60 women came forward over the past few years and accused him of sexual assault. Heck, many people will say he deserves a far harsher punishment. Prior to his sentencing, Cosby was officially labeled a “sexually violent predator.” This means his name will appear on a sex-offender registry, which is sent to neighbors and schools. He also must commit to lifetime counseling and has been ordered to report quarterly to authorities. Also in court Tuesday, prosecutors released Constand’s complete victim impact statement. It was five pages in length and it detailed the harrowing experience of being sexually assaulted by Cosby, along with how this incident continued to plague her through life… up to and including today. “I wasn’t sure what had actually happened but the pain spoke volumes,” she wrote of what transpired, adding: “The shame was overwhelming. Self-doubt and confusion kept me from turning to my family or friends as I normally did. I felt completely alone, unable to trust anyone, including myself… “The psychological, emotional and financial bullying included a slander campaign in the media that left my entire family reeling in shock and disbelief,” continued Constand in a lengthy message that we’ve excerpted below. Focusing on the period shortly after the rape, during which she still had to work with Cosby in the Temple University athletic department, Constand wrote: “The sound of his voice over the phone felt like a knife going through my guts. “The sight of the man who drugged and sexually assaulted me coming into the basketball office filled me with dread…” Following a mistrial in the summer of 2017, Cosby’s re-trial lasted 13 days this past spring. It included testimony from Constand and five other women who claim they were also drugged and sexually assaulted by the disgusting star. Despite the influx of women who have accused him of these heinous crimes, Cosby has maintained his innocence. He’s even joked about the allegations and said at times that the women (like, ALL the women) were simply racist and had it out for him; a very famous African-American role model. Seriously, Cosby has to be one of the worst handful of people on the planet. Over two days in mid-April, however, Constand testified that Cosby gave her wine and three blue pills to “take the edge off” before he sexually assaulted her at his home near Philadelphia in January of 2004. “When the sexual assault happened, I was a young woman brimming with confidence and looking forward to a future bright with possibilities,” she wrote the aforementioned impact statement. “Now, almost 15 years later, I’m a middle-aged woman who’s been stuck in a holding pattern for most of her adult life, unable to heal fully or to move forward.” Throughout this entire ordeal, Cosby’s wife, Camille, and his daughters – Erika, Errin and Evin – have stood by the star’s side. Camille even released a lengthy, blistering statement after her husband’s conviction five months ago, in which she said in part: “This is mob justice, not real justice.” That was her say at the time. But Judge Steven T. O’Neill got the final say in court this afternoon, stating simply: “It is time for justice in a court of law. The day has come. Throughout her years on Teen Mom: OG , Farrah Abraham set the bar pretty high in terms of drama and truly absurd behavior. But believe it or not, the reality-star-turned-porn-star-turned-celebrity-boxer may have topped herself in her long-awaited return to television. As you may have heard, Farrah recently appeared on Face the Truth , a new syndicated talk show in which D-list celebs and other unfortunate souls volunteer to have their lives picked apart by a panel of hosts. Why would anyone submit themselves to this sort of treatment? That’s a great question that we’re not 100 percent qualified to answer, but we would assume it’s for roughly the same reason that you hate Facebook, yet continue to post non-stop status updates: It’s 2018, and now more than ever, negative attention is better than no attention at all. Anyway, Farrah’s estranged mother, Debra Danielsen, also appeared on the show, and it seems Deb is convinced that her daughter is on all the drugs. If you’re wondering how she may have gotten that impression, please watch any existing video clip of Farrah, and you’ll immediately understand. Farrah, of course, denied the allegations, but unfortunately for her, it’s quite easy to definitively determine if someone is on drugs. And so, tests were conducted, and to the surprise of absolutely no one, Farrah had barbiturates in her system. Of course, Farrah subscribes to the Trump theory of reality, which holds that there is no objective truth, and if you can successfully deflect blame onto a rival, then you can never be guilty of anything. And so, Ms. Abraham gave a long, rambling, extremely Farrah-esque interview in which she blamed FTT host Vivica A. Fox for tampering with the test results: “I was just actually more disappointed in the press that Vivica had to do in order to get press for her show,” Farrah told Radar Online. “She’s like, ‘Oh, people are sending in letters,’ No. You have a fake audience, you attack women, your advice isn’t even credible that you’re giving someone as I do go to therapy, I do have family therapy ongoing with my mom. Farrah went on to make wilds claims about her own health that can only be described as “Trumpian”: “I take it upon myself to have the best health to not have anything in — anything my doctors give me. Their drug test was false. My doctors all looked at everything they gave me, there’s no Barbiturates in there. “Vivica’s been on reality TV herself so I guess if she wants to say that I’m trash — I work my a– off. Like, I’m filming 24/7 right now, I’m sick, I’m on a reality TV show set nonstop, and I don’t stop working,” Farrah continued. “That’s way more drive and way more hard work than a TV talk show where you should up and you do fake talk TV and cause fake problems.” Vivica has yet to publicly respond to the accusations, which is probably for the best. For one thing, what we saw on the show speaks for itself. On top of that, this is Farrah we’re talking about, which means roughly half of what she said makes no sense at all. Last week on Alaskan Bush People , Gabe Brown risked life and limb working construction on the Brown family's new homestead. On the latest episode, however, it's not Gabe who's putting himself at risk. His older brother Matt Brown gets injured. It's a major setback for the Browns, as they explain in this video. How much will this delay construction? On Sunday night's new Alaskan Bush People episode, Matt Brown jumps down from too high and ends up injuring his knee. His siblings are concerned about his well being, but as Gabe explains to the camera, they are also concerned about delaying their construction project. “These are major setbacks,” Gabe laments to the camera. He shares his fear that: “It's gonna keep us from building the barn.” “It's pretty much worst case scenario,” Gabe worries. Matt may be able to walk, but not like he could before he twisted his knee. Rain Brown is only 15 (though she often acts as the family's de facto spokesperson on social media, she will not turn 16 until November 23, 2018). Despite that, she is so often the voice of reason — and even maturity. Even when she is speaking to Bam Bam, who is 34 entire years old. “I'm just going to be blunt with you,” Rain says. “I think you could help more.” Bam, we learn, has been showing up late and bristles in the face of being given instructions. Again, this is a grown man who was born in 1984. “It's really important for everyone to get involved with this,” Rain emphasizes. “Teamwork is important.” Though he had been messing around in the face of Matt's instructions, Rain's words do get through to Bam Bam. “I'm just me all the time,” Bam admits. You know what? He sure is. He then asks Rain to “just tell me,” when he's not being as helpful as he should. “So maybe I can fix it.” That sounds like it should be his responsibility rather than Rain's, but okay. Rain needs more from Bam Bam than showing up on time and working as a team. She admits that what he really brings to the group is a concern with safety. Matt and Gabe, in contrast, are daredevils who take risks like they have something to prove. “I think we actually need your help a lot more than we let on,” Rain tells Bam. She appreciates him agreeing to work on his behavior, and says: “I think that this is a good first step.” “We still need to get that working on a team level going,” Rain says. It sounds like Matt — and, honestly, Gabe — need to reign in their impulses, while Bam Bam needs to be more helpful. To be fair, they're all there to film the show. As we know, the Brown family have accumulated their share of wealth over what are now 8 seasons of reality televisions. They're not squatting on land in the wilderness — they're on Billy Brown's 435 property in rural Washington. Bam isn't there because he's a construction expert. He's there because he's a reality star and appearing on camera means that he gets paid. Still, that injury looks like the real deal. Maybe Matt should wisen up and realize that he's not as young as he once was. They all need to be careful.
As you’re no doubt aware, celebrities play the game of life by a different set of rules than the rest of us. Behavior that wouldn’t fly for a hot second in the world of plebes is not only condoned but celebrated when it’s perpetrated by an actor with a role in a corporate film franchise or one of the few recording artists that can still sell out a stadium. But if the #MeToo movement has taught us anything, it’s that even for the rich and powerful, there comes a time when society draws a line in the sand. Which is why the whole world is looking at Drake right now with a collective “bruh, WTF are you doing?” expression. As you may have heard, the rapper maintains a close friendship with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown. Brown opened up about her close relationship with the 31-year-old rapper at the 2018 Emmys last week, and we imagine every single viewers’ face simultaneously contorted into a perfect replica of the “yikes” emoji. Millie Bobby Brown on Drake To be clear, Millie is in no way at fault here. We imagine most 14-year-olds would leap at the chance to befriend one of their favorite recording artists. It’s Drake — and to a slightly lesser extent, Millie’s parents — who are deserving of the hard side-eye here. In order to understand how creepy this is, you need only to strip Drizzy of his celebrity status and re-examine the situation as though he were just Some Dude. If you knew nothing about Drake other than the fact that he’s a 31-year-old man who’s in the habit of routinely texting a 14-year-old girl and telling her how much he misses her, whatever shred of sympathy you might have had for the rap world’s answer to Humbert Humbert would likely go right out the window. Like most celebrities, he gets a pass on certain actions that would get him rightly shunned from civilian society. Fortunately, in 2018, powerful men no longer get away with every kind of questionable behavior. We’re not saying Drake is as bad as the worst of the #MeToo offenders, but his image as the non-threatening nice guy of the hip hop world has taken quite a few hits in recent months. As you may recall, the summer of 2018 began with the revelation that Drake has a secret son , with whom he’s barely had any contact. Drake attempted a lame explanation as to why he’s been hiding his son from the world (he was actually hiding the world from his son , the rapper explained, in full earnest-Drizzy mode), but for the most part, the public wasn’t buying his victim routine. Shortly thereafter, we learned that Drake was dating an 18-year-old fan and aspiring model. Again, not illegal — but not the sort of thing that inspires much faith in the man’s character. Now, we have Drake’s relationship with Millie. Again, it’s possible that the rapper entered this situation with the best of intentions, but to say he’s handling it poorly at this point would be to massively understate the awkwardness of how this is all playing out. On social media, Brown has attempted to diffuse the situation (see above), while Drake has kept mum, thus leaving her to twist in the wind. We can only hope dude is quietly extricating himself from the situation and gently explaining to Millie his reasons for doing so. You’ve had a very rough year, Drizzy — time to start earning some redemption.

According to New York Daily News , Ebony Lavonne Smith of Wisconsin pled guilty to stealing checks and cash from over 6,000 greeting cards. The 20-year-old admitted to taking the money as part of a plea deal earlier this month. She started her job working for the USPS in March 2015. In the summer of 2017, residents within Smith’s assigned zip codes started complaining that they weren’t receiving their cards. Online court documents explained that Smith was caught stealing after a test card containing a $20 bill was placed in her container to be delivered on her route. The envelope for the card held a transmitter that would activate if the card was opened. Postal authorities kept a close watch on Smith as they were investigating. Reports say she even looked through other mail routes’ trays to take out greeting cards for her own tray. In Smith’s vehicle, a company satchel containing 31 USPS greeting cards was found, along with 23 other greeting cards, a Starbucks gift card, a roll of tape and letter openers. Smith told authorities she started stealing when she began her route in Washington Highlands. She used the money to pay bills and to support her four children, according to documents. According to ABC News , at first, Smith was stealing $40 a week over one to two days, . But this eventually increased to between $50 and $100 a week. Smith also admitted that she used the tape found in her vehicle to reseal some of the cards. Smith was fired from her job earlier this year. “The vast majority of U.S. Postal Service personnel are dedicated, hard-working public servants dedicated to moving mail to its proper destination [and] who would never consider engaging in any form of criminal behavior,” public information officer for the postal service Jeff Arney said. “This type of alleged behavior within the Postal Service is not tolerated.” Cards that were found will be sent to the original intended recipients, according to Arney. Anybody else who wants to claim a loss can do that through the court process.

In the clip featured here from Sunday's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe tries to play mediator between Kris Jenner and her oldest daughter. It's not really clear what has brought these three family members into the living room and what has caused them to arrive at the topic at hand… … but the conversation immediately turned to men, romances and extramarital affairs! “For some reason, you do not give mom the benefit of the doubt, ever, from your childhood and it's really unfair,” Khloe randomly says, pulling out the name of Kris' long-ago lover and adding: “You only remember with Todd, or this or that.” (Todd, you may or may not recall, would be Todd Waterman , a man with whom Jenner has admitted sleeping in 1989 while married to Robert Kardashian Sr.) “I don't sit there and dwell about Todd,” says a shocked Kourtney, priort o Kris telling her that she has “her own Todd right now.” Ouch , Kourtney replies. Also: WTH ?!? “No, I actually don't. I'm actually not married and I'm not having an affair,” Kourtney claps back, presumably talking about then-boyfriend Younes Bendjima based on the timeline of when this episode was likely filmed. “You can't compare one to the other, it's absolutely not true,” she adds. The sneak peek concludes with Khloe telling her sister: “Sometimes our memories get a little warped by our age, but don't be so hard on your mom.” Jenner opened up about cheating on Kardashian Sr. in her 2011 memoir, Kris Jenner…And All Things Kardashian. In 1989, she had an affair Waterman, an elicit act that prompted the divorce. In an interview with Fox News Channel’s OBJECTified this summer, Kris confessed the affair was “nothing I’m proud of.” “When I look back on it now, probably one of my biggest regrets in my life is that that marriage fell apart,” she said on this program.
