This on the heels of him announcing his 2nd solo album to come out titled “Yandhi.” Earlier this summer Kanye dropped “I Hate being Bi-Polar it’s Awesome.” He released this shortly after his TMZ encounter and wearing his MAGA hat on social media. This summer Kanye produced Teyana Taylor, Nas, and Pusha T’s album. He’s apparently not done. He’s working with Chance the Rapper to release a joint album called “Good Ass Job.” No release date on their album but both have taken to social media to promote the new album. Michael Hickey/Getty Images Lauryn Hill’s Tour Gets Some Interested Changes Several artists including Santigold, Nas, SZA, and Dave Chappelle were slated to perform for Lauryn Hill ‘s Miseducation 20th Anniversary tour–but it looks like that won’t be happening, as some performances were cut from the final roster. The cancellations were a surprise to many fans, who were only told that there were “production issues.” Santigold, one of the artist removed from tour dates, took to Twitter to explain her no-show. I’m sorry you paid to see us and we’re not there. That really bums me out. I’m also bummed that @MsLaurynHill and crew didn’t tell ppl why we’re not there. WENN.com Donald Glover Sues Former Label Donald Glover has filed a lawsuit against his former label Glassnote Records as part of a royalties disagreement, according to reports from Pitchfork . The rapper is alleging that the independent label owes him over $10,000 from streaming royalties and has continually miscalculated payments, which violates their licensing agreement. The suit asserts issues including breaches of contract, negligence, fair dealing, good faith, and fiduciary duty. Glover’s new lawsuit is a reaction to Glassnote’s complaint from July, in which they label asked for a judge to act as mediator in court during the contract dispute. “Donald Glover made a claim that he was owed 95% of SoundExchange royalties when we are legislatively and contractually required to share those royalties 50/45,” a Glassnote representative told Pitchfork earlier this summer. “We are not asking for anything back from Donald Glover, just that we are able to retain the monies that are contractually and legally ours and that have already been paid to us.” In Glover’s lawsuit, he refutes the claims Glassnote made in that complaint, and maintains that the label has held on to 100 percent of Glover’s net SoundExchange royalties. The Atlanta creator is requesting his royalties and that the label’s complaint be dismissed, along with payment for damages. Childish Gambino released Camp , Because the Internet , and “Awaken, My Love!” via Glassnote between 2011 and 2016. He has been signed to RCA since January of 2018.
So Debra Messing and Susan Sarandon are not friends. Like, at all. Who knows what their relationship was like before the 2016 presidential election, if they even had one, but when Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton official became the Republican and Democratic nominees, things got real bad, real fast. Debra has always been a big supporter of Hillary, while Susan was (and still is) one of those people who was super, super into Bernie Sanders. When Hillary won the primary, Susan was very displeased, and she refused to support her. She also kind of began to support Trump in a roundabout way, making statements like “Some people feel Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately. If he gets in, then things will really explode.” She said that Hillary was too “dangerous” to endorse, and right before the election, she began endorsing Jill Stein, because she felt that Hillary would easily win so it would be fine for people to “vote their conscience.” Obviously, things did not work out like that. Pretty much every single time Susan has made some dumb public statement on Trump, Debra has been there to call her out on it . They’ve gotten into plenty of Twitter fights, Debra has called Susan “insane” and insisted that she be “held accountable” for her misguided political comments. And now that Susan is running her mouth again, Debra is there to shut it down. This week, Variety released a new interview with Susan, and in the interview, she talked more about that “revolution” idea she’s been so excited about. She said that a good thing about Trump’s presidency so far is that he’s so bad, he’s inspiring young people to get more into politics, and that he’s also inspiring more women and people of color to run for office. “This is a revolution,” she said. “Maybe things had to get so bad before real change actually could happen. We just have to stay awake.” When Debra saw the interview … well, she went the f–k off. “STFU SUSAN,” she began her Twiter tirade. “Oh yes, PLEASE let’s give Trump CREDIT.” “I mean how else are you able to walk out on the street. Convince yourself that this CATASTROPHE of a president who you said was better that HRC IS NOT ripping children away from people seeking asylum, holding children INDEFINITELY in internment camps with their new policy …” “DESTROYING all attemps to protect our environment (yes the water you properted to care about), endangered animals, taking away women’s ACCESS to health care and legal abortion, trying to block POC from voting with extreme judges who will support jerrymandering efforts, not to mention destroying ALL goodwill and allied relationships across the globe.” “Oh,” she continued, “and lest you forget Syria, Crimea, and putting PRO-RUSSIA agenda BEFORE the United States best interests .” “YES, do go on and LAUD the effect Trump has had out of DESPERATION & PANIC for the DESTRUCTION of the Soul of our country.” We know, we know, it’s a lot, but she’s still not done! “You don’t want to look at THAT part of the equation,” Debra wrote. “Because then you’d have to admit you were dead WRONG running around bellowing that HRC was more dangerous than Trump.” “Only a self righteous narcissist would continue to spout off and not — in the face of Americans’ pain and agony — be contrite and apologize for your part in this catastrophe.” She wrapped things up with “But you do you Susan.” Susan responded briefly by telling Debra to actually watch her interview “before you get yourself all self-righteous,” but Debra said that she actually watched the interview twice. So who’s right here? Well, Debra, clearly. She uses a lot of caps in her argument, but it’s a solid argument. Susan has received a lot of criticism since her interview began making the rounds, and she’s been quick to remind people that she’s not pro-Trump by any means. As she’s been reminding everyone on her Twitter account, she got arrested earlier this summer at an anti-Trump protest, and she has been using her platform to urge everyone to vote. But it’s hard to forget all those insane things she said in 2016, and it’s still weird how she’s romanticizing the idea of this big revolution when really everything just kind of sucks right now . Gina Kirschenheiter has really made a splash on The Real Housewives of Orange County , from siding with Kelly Dodd against Vicki to speaking her mind without hesitation. She’s made a real impression with fans, who would be happy to see her return for another season. Will Gina stay or will she go? RadarOnline spoke to a network insider who explained why Bravo wants Gina Kirschenheiter back for another season. The Bravo insider says that Gina is “absolutely” welcome back next season. “She has gained a tremendous fan base,” the source explains. A huge factor in her immediate popularity, the insider explains, is “because people can relate to her.” She’s a reality star with a reasonably glamorous lifestyle, so crossing that bridge to relatability can be tricky — but she managed it. There are some pretty simple reasons for Gina’s rapid rise to popularity among viewers, and it’s not the ase of spelling her last name. “She speaks what is on her mind,” the source explains. “And she doesn’t hold back anything.” That’s a great quality in a reality star, but also a breath of fresh air to viewers who are tired of jaded reality veterans who pick their battles. “She is refreshing,” the insider states. “And,” the source continues, Gina “has gotten really close to several of the cast members already.” As we had mentioned, Gina sided with Kelly against Vicki over Vicki’s double-dates with Kelly’s ex. As we reported very early this summer, Gina Kirschenheiter divorced her husband shortly after the show wrapped filming. It was said that Gina seeing parts of her life through the lens of a camera helped to put some things into perspective for her. Though viewers have seen her acting almost as a single parent to her three young children this season, she and Matt Kirschenheiter don’t seem to have any hard feelings. The insider dishes that Gina “has done an amazing job co-parenting and will continue to be friends with Matt.” That can be a difficult line to tread — good for her! And good for him, too! As much as fans and Bravo would like to see an encore performance from Gina, ultimately, that ball is in her court. “It is up to her whether or not she decides to take the invite back on the show,” the source explains. That makes sense. Some contracts last for several seasons, but few — networks or stars — are eager to start with a multi-year contract. “But hopefully,” the insider says. “She will.” Very practically, the source says: “The paycheck sure can’t hurt her.” Even amicable divorce is expensive, even if you’re rich — in terms of sheer numbers, especially if you’re rich. But even if it weren’t for that … the hefty paycheck for a Housewife salary is difficult to turn down. You can never have too much money, folks. That said, for some people, they find that they’re happier when their lives aren’t out in the open on television and social media. Still, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that Gina loves being on the show as much as viewers love seeing her. She really brings a special element to the show’s dynamic. It's the Bachelor in Paradise scandal no one saw coming. On the Season 5 finale of this ABC reality series, Jordan Kimball got down on one knee and proposed to Jenna Cooper… and she said yes! Hooray, right?!? Not so fast. Around the same exact time this proposal aired, a handful of text messages went viral that Bachelor guru Reality Steve alleges were sent back and forth between Jenna and her actual boyfriend/lover this summer. It certainly appears as if Cooper was sleeping with someone else while she was being wooed by Jordan on the aforementioned series. What is actually going on here? There will be some performances, some outfit changes.” 4. But Now? YIKES! It’s hard to believe the reality stars make it down the aisle, not when an unnamed person contacted Reality Steve and claimed to have been in a relationship nearly this whole time with Jenna. 5. Why Did This Man Come Forward? “Jenna is a manipulator. She manipulated me. She manipulates the other guys she ‘networks’ with and is apparently manipulating this Jordan guy,” he told Reality Steve, explaining that he met Jenna prior to Bachelor in Paradise filming and was still with her two days before the finale aired. 6. He’ll join co-hosts Remy Ma and Scottie Beam for a new show “State of the Culture,” where they’ll break down the pop culture news of the day. “We try to go a little bit deeper,” Joe told us. “We just try to cover every nook and cranny, and hopefully we can execute on that.” And Budden said the new show, which premieres next week on Revolt, will be nothing like the podcast that bears his name. “My podcast is about absolutely nothing,” Budden said. “My podcast is about me and my friends bringing our group chat alive. There’s not very much structure. We just sit down and shoot the sh*t like friends. Our dynamic (on “State of the Culture”) is going to be very different from me and my friends.” The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” alum, who shares a baby son with former co-star Cyn Santana, said he’s excited to work with Beam and Remy and hopes viewers will learn something from the show every day. “I don’t just want it to be entertaining,” he said. “I want it to be enlightening as well, and every show should deliver on that front.”
