White Georgia Cop Tells Black Driver “I Don’t Care About Your People… Go Back To Fulton County” [Video]

A white Georgia police officer named, Maurice Lawson, was caught on camera threatening a black driver. Maurice was not fired for this incident, but instead moved to a different precinct. This is not the first time Lawson has pulled this racist behavior. AJC : Lisa Cupid, who is African-American, was caught up in a firestorm this summer, after she complained about Lawson following her so aggressively that she thought he was going to ram her from behind. She said of that experience with Lawson that he “was not there to protect and serve. He was there to harass and intimidate.” Cupid was leaving a hotel during the early morning hours, after studying for the bar examination, when Lawson began following her in an undercover car, with tinted windows and only one working headlight. The commissioner, who has seen the Baker video, said she met with Lawson and his precinct commander earlier this week, and left that meeting with a “headache.” “The video at the very least demonstrates some question about this officer’s level of judgment,” Cupid said. “I could easily be jumping up and down and pointing the fingure right now. That’s not the action I want to take. I’m just being very watchful about how they respond.” Cupid said of her incident that the officer would not have followed a white driver in a more “affluent” part of the county. She was heavily criticized — by members of the public and by her fellow commissioners — and complained that county leadership didn’t adequately respond to her questions and concerns. Police investigation found that Lawson did not violate departmental policy in his encounter with Cupid. Commissioner Bob Weatherford said Cupid’s complaint “has created division that in my view may impede her ability to govern her district.” Weatherford said he hadn’t seen the dash board video of the Baker incident when contacted Thursday, and said he wouldn’t get involved in an ongoing police investigation. Why is this guy still on the job? They are letting him treat people of color badly in ANOTHER part of town now? WTF!? ajc.com

That much may be unclear, but Stefani didn’t deny rumors that she’s dating the country artist in a recent interview… and the two got their major flirt on during a Halloween party over the weekend. How does Miranda Lambert feel about this? Considering she was married to Shelton for four years until this summer? It sounds like she’s putting on a brave face, according to E! News. “Miranda is at a point in her life where she is really focusing on herself and her music. Amber Rose Poses for Paper Magazine; Kardashians P!SSED at Rival?!

The drama between Amber Rose and Kim Karsdashian is about to revive itself. In early October, Kim was ready to end the feud with Amber. But when Kim catches wind of Amber’s new Paper Magazine shoot, the proverbial sh-t is going to hit the fan. Amber collaborated with Paper Magazine to create a follow-up “Break the Internet” edition.  Considering Amber Rose posed nude before, we can assume it will include naked pics. At this time, it is unclear what her shoot will include.  But it seems as if she is copying Kim Kardashian’s nude pics that “broke the internet.” Amber Rose sat down with Sirius XM’s Paper Radio to chat about the photo shoot.  She said the spread will pay homage to many “feminists throughout the years.” Certainly, when women’s suffragists were rallying, this is what they had in mind. Despite her naked homage to feminists, Rose does want her identity to be detached from the men in her life. In a recent interview with GQ, she criticized the magazine for referring to her as “Kanye West’s ex” and “Wiz Khalifia’s baby mama.” She said that she wants to be known for more than just the men she has been involved with. The Paper Magazine spread is in perfect time for Rose to promote her newly released book How to Be a Bad Bitch . This probably won’t go over well with Kim Kardashian or her family.  The Kardashians have been embattled with Amber Rose over a slew of issues. Over the summer, Amber Rose called out the illegal nature Tyga and Kylie Jenner’s relationship.  At the time, Kyle was underage while dating the 25-year-old rapper. The interview started an online battle that included most of the Kardashian family and even Kanye West. And the drama escalated when Amber Rose and Blac Chyna were slated to film a reality show.  The Kardashians knew Amber would reveal all of the dirty secrets she knows about the family. However, Amber Rose and Blac Chyna’s show was canceled.  The BFFs claimed they were too busy for a new gig. Black Man Arrested For Burning Down Black Churches Last week, we reported that someone was running around and setting fire to a number of Black churches all around Ferguson , Missouri, the site of Michael Brown’s murder at the hands of the police. Given the city’s racial tension following last year’s unrest, authorities weren’t ruling out the possibility that a racist was behind the church burnings. But as it turns out, the arsonist may have been a Black man. Via The Atlantic: St. Louis-area police have arrested David Lopez Jackson, a 35-year-old black man, in connection with the burning of churches around the area. Jennings has been charged with two counts of second-degree arson. There have been seven fires in St. Louis and nearby Jennings over the course of October. The arsons struck a range of denominations, but mostly black churches. A sixth church was racially mixed, while the seventh was predominantly white. The fires ran the gamut from minimal to serious damage. Because of the long history of arson attacks on black churches—including several this summer and a long spree in the mid-1990s—and because of the tense race relations in St. Louis since the death of Michael Brown in August 2014, the fires immediately raised the specter of hate crimes. Indeed, the suspect arrested Thursday is black, and authorities didn’t offer any indication about a motive during a news conference Friday afternoon. Police have only charged Jackson with fires at the New Life Missionary Baptist Church and Ebenezer Lutheran, but they said he’s a suspect in the others. His car was spotted near the New Life, and forensic evidence tied him to Ebenezer; there were also gas containers in his car, police said. All seven fires were similar in type and location, generally around doors. Plot twist like a mofo! Will be interesting to hear his reasoning for burning down Black churches and adding fuel to to the city’s racial tension. Twitter
