(WENN) Home Robbed Hours After Argument With Lil Kim Over Deposit Money Well this is certainly suspect… Lil Kim is known for being thorough, but after a jail stint and becoming a mother would she really risk her livelihood to resort to petty robbery? That seems to be what TMZ is suggesting … Law enforcement sources for the site claim Kim rented a Los Angeles home for a BET Awards weekend party but then decided the crib wasn’t right for her event. At Sunday around 2 AM Kim and her crew allegedly toured the home and decided it didn’t pass snuff — but when they asked their deposit be returned a woman who was either the owner or property manager refused and the group began arguing. Police were called to the crib, but the responding officers told both parties they couldn’t interfere in a civil matter. Kim and company left the scene, but just hours later, at 4 AM another group arrived at the home wearing ski masks and brandishing weapons. The robbers left after securing the bag — specifically Kim’s deposit check and cash — which added up to at least $20K. Law enforcement sources say the culprits also stole a hubcap and slashed the car tires of a vehicle at the scene and LAPD are investigating the robbery. Hmmmm… We know some things you just won’t fly with folks from Brooklyn but… this could totally a coincidence, right? Or NAH?

Charleena Lyles Killed By Police While Pregnant Outrage is spreading and questions are arising over the death of a 30-year-old pregnant woman who called police to her home to report a home invasion. Charleena Lyles’ reportedly called police in the early hours of Sunday morning to report an attempted burglary at her Seattle home. She was home alone with her three children at the time. Upon their arrival, police say that Lyles brandished a knife, so they opened fire on her, shooting her dead . Her two sons and daughter were all inside the home when police shot their mother down. Thankfully, all the children were unharmed during the incident. Lyles was reportedly three months pregnant with her fourth child when she was killed. Lyles, whose family reports that she had a history of mental health issues, had had a recent dust-up with local police in the weeks leading up to the incident that ultimately took her life. Her family believes that this, coupled with the factor of her race, led to the cops responding to her distress call with such hostility. As Newsweek reports: Police Detective Mark Jamieson told local media that the two officers who responded to Lyles’ call had been alerted of “hazard information” in the police database regarding a former exchange Lyles had with authorities in early June. Lyles had been previously arrested for obstruction of a public official and two counts of harassment on June 5 but had been released conditionally on June 14. During that particular altercation, Lyles was armed with a pair of scissors, according to police reports. SMH. We’ll be following this story as it develops, but we can’t see how shooting a pregnant woman down was a justified response from police — ESPECIALLY since she was the one that called for their assistance.
Matthew Knowles has received an unexpected and unwanted present for Father’s Day: The vitriol of the Beyhive. Earlier this week, Beyonce gave birth to her twins , with multiple sources confirming that she and Jay Z are now the proud parents of child number-two and child number-three. Not much else is known about the blessed event or the babies themselves, although Us Weekly alleges one is a boy and one is a girl. TMZ, meanwhile, reports that a “minor” health issue has led to a lengthy stay for the newborns; as of this writing, they remain hospitalized. Beyonce is also still in the hospital, but just to keep an eye over her kids, both of whom are expected to be just fine. Her father, conversely, is in pretty rough shape at the moment, reputation-wise. Matthew became the first member of the Knowles family to break this monumental piece of news, taking to Twitter on Sunday morning and writing the following: “They’re here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday.” Nice, right? Sweet, no? Harmless and inspired by love, correct? Wrong, nope and incorrect, apparently. A legion of dedicated fans have responded to Knowles’ Tweet not with messages of congratulations, but with messages of annoyance and irritation. They’re angry that Matthew had the gall to announce this baby news before the mother herself. “You should delete this and let Bey announce it,” Instagram user @wikimct wrote, while a fellow Internet commentator added: “It’s not real until the queen herself reveals it.” Ouch. Harsh. Over the years, Matthew and Beyonce have not had the best relationship, it’s true. He was once fired as her manager, for example, and he’s divorced from her mother, Tina. But does anyone out there really think Matthew was trying to steal Beyonce’s thunder here? That he isn’t simply a very excited grandfather who did wait to reveal the twins’ birth until after a handful of celebrity gossip outlets had done the same? It would be one thing of Matthew shared photos of the babies without his daughter’s consent. That would be very inappropriate. However, he isn’t revealing anything in this Tweet that hadn’t previously been revealed by approximately 877 other websites first. Beyonce and Jay Z have managed through the years to be perhaps the most famous and most successful couple in Hollywood… while also being one of the most private. They’ve made a career out of controlling their images and their narratives as well as any celebrities out there, which is likely why the Beyhive is so riled up in this instance over Matthew’s actions. Chris Brown Ordered Into Domestic Abuse Counseling Looks like the judge in Karrueche Tran’s protection order case didn’t think that simply barring Chris from bothering her any further was enough. On top of the restraining order that Chris and his team attempted to squirm out of , the judge also decided it was best that Chris routinely meet with a specialist about his issues with abusing his partners in serious relationships. According to TMZ , the judge ruled that Breezy has to complete a full year of abuse education through adherence to a 52-week batterer intervention program. Of course, in Chris’ case, these programs never seem to quite stick. He already had to complete one domestic violence counseling course after the whole Rihanna thing, and also did a stint in anger management after violating his probation in that case. And now…we’re here. Plus, seeing as how he’s currently on tour and has made it abundantly clear that he finds the accusations, the legal action and the thought that he needs to be kept away from Karrueche at all very trivial and silly …it will be interesting to see if he manages to complete the program anyway. Time will tell… **UPDATE** So apparently the judge didn’t see fit to sentence Chris to any additional counseling. A court source reported to TMZ that it boiled down to a clerical error in the paperwork. So as long as he leaves Karrueche all the way alone, things will be square with the court and Chris.
