According to Bleacher Report via NYTimes , Jay-Z will be forming a partnership with the NFL to create a social justice initiative and bring a much need boost the sleepy Super Bowl halftime show. Here’s what NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had to say about the new allegiance: “We don’t want people to come in and necessarily agree with us; we want people to come in and tell us what we can do better,” Goodell said. “I think that’s a core element of our relationship between the two organizations, and with Jay and I personally.” The Roc Nation jefe grande also spoke on his new business venture: “The NFL has a great big platform, and it has to be all-inclusive,” Jay-Z said, per Belson and Sisario. “They were willing to do some things, to make some changes, that we can do some good.” What do you think of Jay’s involvement with the league? Chipasha Luchembe, 41, faces nine counts of child abuse, four counts of aggravated assault police said they found a teenage girl with a bruised, swollen face, bruises to her abdomen and scratch marks on her neck. According to the police report, Luchembe said he “became upset” because he told his daughter to save him a slice of pizza. After he didn’t get his pizza, the girl said Luchembe splashed water in her face, slapped her “a couple of times” and put his hands on her neck. Luchembe allegedly pushed his daughter to the ground, punched her in the stomach, pulled her hair, spat on her and put her head in the sink. Luchembe also allegedly punched the girl in the face. The report adds that Luchembe “choked her to the point of where she passed out and urinated on herself.”
With all of Teen Mom Twitter wondering whether or not Amber Portwood will go to prison for her recent alleged assault, fellow Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry came out on Thursday and dropped her very own bombshell: There’s a chance she ends up serving time behind bars in the near future! A slim chance, that is. But a chance nonetheless. For what possible reason? For taking her three sons on a trip to Hawaii in early July! Confused? We’ll let Lowry explain, courtesy of Thursday’s edition of her Coffee Convos podcast with Lindsie Chrisley. On this installment of their popular quasi talk show, Kailyn and Lindsie delved into the custody arrangement that Kailyn has with ex Jo Rivera in regard to their son, Isaac. (Kailyn is also the mother to a five-year son named Lincoln, who she shares with Javi Marroquin; and a two-year old son named Lux, who she had with Chris Lopez, but whom she has full custody of.) “We have to write a 30 days notice for vacation. First come, first serve,” explained Lowry of what is in writing between her and Rivera, adding by way of further detail: “So if I put in my 30 days notice before he does or anyone, it’s mine.” Okay, fair enough. We follow. Under a shared custody agreement, it makes sense that Kailyn and Jo would need to give the other a heads-up whenever they wanted to take young Isaac away to someplace such as Hawaii for an extended period of time. So what happened with this most recent vacation? “Originally I was going to go to Hawaii July 5th to 20th, which is two weeks,” Kailyn continued. “I realized that first week of July was my week [with the kids], and Leah [Messer] was [also] going [to Hawaii] on the 1st. “So obviously [I] wanted to go and be with [her family] the first week…It was my week anyway, I changed the dates after I submitted my 30 days notice.” Lowry and Messer also took a vacation together in May, sharing photos of themselves on the trip and even sparking rumors online of a romance between the female reality stars . That isn’t the point right now, though, of course. The point here is that Lowry didn’t abide by her custody agreement with Rivera. This is an agreement signed by both parties and it is one that was, of course, legally binding. As a result, there’s a scenario at work here in which Jo could press charges against his ex. “It’s not that big of a deal,” Lowry said on her podcast, acknowledging she was aware of this possibility when she whisked Issac away to be with his half-brothers in Hawaii and adding she has no regrets: “I made this decision [with] full awareness that I could potentially go to jail for 24 hours — and I think it’s worth it.” When Lindsie questioned Kailyn about the potential outcome, the Teen Mom star didn’t seem too concerned… despite what Rivera said upon learning Kailyn was breaking the rules and taking all three kids on this trip. “Jo said he he could see me in court,” Lowry noted. While we wait to see what happens between the former lovers, Kailyn left podcast listeners and fans with a rather mysterious and intriguing nugget. She said on air that “there [are] two incidences that I could file on contempt on [Jo] and I haven’t.” Sounds like a threat, doesn’t it? We wonder just what Lowry is referring to with this quote. Parker Mustian, 16, posted a video last month filled with hateful rhetoric while threatening gun violence against Black men. Local outlet WOLO-TV reports : A local 16-year-old has been charged with ‘Student Threats,’ after videos were shared of him making racial and violent threats. The teen was a student of Cardinal Newman School, but is now banned from the property. Although these events transpired last month, school parents were just made aware of the investigation this past weekend, and now one of the racially-charged videos is going viral on social media. According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, the teen was taken to the juvenile wing of Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on July 17. The 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said it cannot release any update on the status of the case because it involves a minor. Cardinal Newman Principal Robert Loia says in a letter sent to families Sunday, that it’s important to clarify the timeline surrounding the threatening videos. On July 13, Cardinal Newman School leaders were contacted by a parent of a student that had received a graphic and racist video made by the 16-year-old male student. In the video, the teen is shown shooting a box of Jordan’s, which he says ‘is the favorite pair of shoes for a black man.’ Right. Initially, the sheriff’s department didn’t view Mustian’s video as a criminal act but when Mustian threatened to shoot up the school after being withdrawn by his parents instead of facing expulsion while accepting a ban from its property, only then did police decide to arrest the boy on July 17. Late last month, reports came out that Matt Brown was banned from filming Alaskan Bush People after his sobriety struggles and a family conflict. That wasn’t just sad for viewers — it was a source of grief for the whole family. Now, there’s wonderful news for everyone involved — especially Matt himself. As you may recall, even when we reported on the falling out between father and son, we did some further digging. We were even able to find a photograph of Matt in Washington, which seemed to indicate that things were on the mend. Now, RadarOnline confirms that we were right on the money. “Matt is already back in California,” the insider reports. The source notes that this is “after spending a week with his family in Washington,” “But,” the insider adds. “He really had a great trip home.” “He made up with his father,” the insider announces. “Which is huge.” “He was able to make up with his father,” the source repeats. “And,” the insider shares. “They were able to come to an agreement that would bring Matt back to the show.” That is a huge relief — though, of course, a little too late for this current season. The source clarifies that Matt’s return is slated “for the season after this one.” Of course, there’s one very serious ground rule. “Billy told Matt that he must stay sober from now on,” the insider reveals. “Or else,” the source warns. “The deal is off.” “Of course, Matt agreed,” the insider adds. We’re sure that no one is more invested in Matt remaining sober than Matt himself. While Matt hasn’t made a formal announcement about returning to the show, he has dropped “hints” about his reconciliation with his family. “Taking in this peaceful view of this lake here and I was thinking about you all guys,” Matt said in a recent Instagram video. Notably, in the video, he is overlooking Lake Loomis. “I know that I haven’t done a video in a while,” he acknowledged. “So I just wanted to say ‘hey.’” “I hope you all have a good weekend,” he expressed. “And I know that we will out here.” “Alright,” Matt concluded. “Love you all!” Years ago, Matt developed a problem with alcohol and had to become sober. In recent years, however, worries over his mother’s battle with Stage 4 lung cancer contributed to his return to drinking. (It was not the only factor, but it was certainly a major one) Last year, the family staged an intervention, and Matt attended rehab along with therapy and meetings and hired a sobriety coach. Even with that support, he faltered and slipped at times. Now, he is once again on the straight and narrow. Fans and family alike are proud of Matt for taking these difficult steps to better his life. Still, Matt Brown will need to remain sober if he intends to make good on the deal that he and Billy have struck. But we believe 100% that he can avoid alcohol or even the temptation to drink. Right now, he’s back to enjoying his life in Southern California. Jana’s response was also interesting to many of her supporters due to her “Mr. Right” phrasing — because there’s been some talk out there about whether or not she’s a lesbian. Nicole Nafziger took to Instagram to share an ad — one that we have included for your viewing convenience. “A few days into my @boombod 7 day challenge,” Nicole captions the video. “And I have to say I’m SUPER impressed!” Don't worry — she tagged the post as an #ad in compliance with FTC regulations. “Normally I’m so busy I find being consistent with programs a bit tricky,” she admits. “But these shots are super easy & tasty,” Nicole writes. “And they’re paying off!” “My cravings have been going away,” Nicole says. She is, of course, referring to cravings for food that the human body needs to live. “And I haven’t felt as bloated all week,” she remakrs. “So I’ll definitely stick with this.” Well, nobody likes feeling bloated. “If you’re curious, it’s the perfect time to give them a go,” Nicole suggests. “They have BOGO free!” “It really helps with cravings,” Nicole says aloud during the video advertisement itself. “I know some of us have a problem with snacking… it helps pass the time,” she admits.
